Hi Comrades, nowadays statistics says People tends to read less and less so considering this fact we should think the only paper we would have in the future is necessarily Papertoilet for obvious reasons but as far as we know....no one ever wrote a book in papertoilet. I tried to write just notes on it but I never suceed....I swear!!!! and I can assure papertoilet is useless to write:p so considering all this I have these questions:

1.Do you think books will dissapear eventually? 2.What kind of thing could subtitute paper to write in the future?

No I believe that paperback books will vanish but not the concept of writing. Books will go online, such as e-books or something similar but no books will not die out.

Magnus may just be a frenchman,, I know only ONE other person to say papertoilet :P. Books will never die out, What will boring proffessor types fill their shelves with then? Interesting Artifacts? I THINK NOT, those are expensive.

Hehe you're not bad adressed Comrade Many . I'm almost frenchman but not completely, I'm from Spain ;) the neighbour country.

I agree with all of you comrades thinking books will not disappear at all but I was surprised during an investigation I did during these days in which.....unbelievable or not, we couldn't found books or something written on paper about one important event ocurred in 2002....all materials were digitalized but amazingly I found some materials which existed both on paper and e-books just.....dissapeared.

The event was an important matter about Anti-globalization ocurred in the city, after 7 years I found It's difficult to trace out the facts.

I am French, but I don't say papertoilet...and I live in America...I do not think that books will die out or even completely go digital. They will be both online and physical, depending on one's preference. Either way is fine with me, especially since it's so hard to find a physical copy of The Communist Manifesto in my area.

No, Im the second generation of my family in America. I will be learning though, my grandparents want to take me to France to see my cousins before I get out of high school. The deal so far is that I will help my family learn english in return for learning french.

That's an interesting exchange Zaneth. Have you ever been in France?
