Hi Comrades! I think this is an important question. In some way the name of our alliance will be associated with the Communism and the USSR which existed in real life years ago. From my point of view, a lot of people says they don't like Communism but usually they never read seriously about Communism. They usually have seen typical Holliwood movies from 70's or 80's which were done during the Cold War distortionating reality. Those movies were done to entertain...not to educate but people tend to believe what they've seen in those movies like facts. So, What do you know really about Communism? Did you ever read serious books about this political ideology? Do you think Comrades that Communism symbolise oppresion? or Do you think Communism is another thing? |

Communism stood for great things, in practice it did not fair too well and we have seen that in the history of the world. Power mad dictators have come to power and most communist states has had major famines and lifes have been lost. I support some points of socialism but I also beleive some aspects of capitalism to be good. I beleive every man has a right to be equal aswell as a fundemental right to own property, in capitalism, people who work hard generally get a much higher pay check at the end where as here in the UK, people who are unemployed and haven't done a decent days work in their life are receiving benefits from the tax paying people and I belief this to be wrong. Good aspects of socialism is the right to free healthcare, better working conditions etc.., I belive in liberalism and everyone to have free speech and individual freedom and see myself as a liberal conservative in real life but supporting aspects of the socialist movement. |

Socialisim and Communisim work. They just havent been done right so far in RL history. The United States wants the world to bow down to it's way of life and for everyone to adopt Capitalism. Problem is that Capitalisim is basly legal slave labor. A small few individuals get all the money and benifits while they control the lives of others. It's explotation of the people, plain and simple. The US feared Communisim because they knew it was the one thing that could (and will in the future) defeat Capitalisim. |

I think socialism is a necessity if we wish to survive as a species. Our biosphere is collapsing, and the monied interests (capitalist swine) continue to feed us our own death, all for the right price. Unless we are prepared to act with solidarity, and unity of purpose, these psychopaths with profit margins will consume us all. |

One of the biggest problem with the current Capitalist system(so called Neoliberalism) is like there's not barriers to make profit whatever the cost. Unfortunetly, It seems like We need to have an economic crise as we have now......to demonstrate that Neoliberalism is no the answer to solve the problems of our time. THe facts had demonstrated such system will never create justice, peace or a safe world.....Indeed such system has contributed to have a more UNSAFE world if we observe the context of our days |

Socialism to me is a watered down version of Communism with a touch of capitalism. To me socialism is everyone with an equal start working their way up a ladder, instead of Capitalism where most people start at the bottom of the ladder and find their way blocked by fat cats. |

I'm sorry to say Leuben Socialism is not what you believe. Teoretically speaking, Socialism is part of the process to establish a communist society, the word itself was used for Karl Marx to describe the process to change from a classical capitalist society to a communist one(thinking on 19th Century society). Indeed Socialism is just a middle step to reach the final goal....a communist society. I repeat, that's what it's said teoretically. The truth is the concept Socialism has been manipulated both Capitalist and people with little knowledge of Communism. I think that's the reason because of you think Socialism is Communism combined with Capitalism. It must be said that in the very beginning of the Communism's theory, Communism doesn't disagree with the existence of the capital. Communism only disagree with the classical Capitalism in how the Capital is used and distributed in the society. The problem is the Ortodox Communism is extreme in methods, but also this ortodox communism tried to create an internal democratic struture. The affirmation done during the Cold War saying URSS was completely undemocratic are not true. Nowadays It's demonstrated after some studies about the political organization of the URSS. I would like to say also I'm not a communist in real life, but maybe leftist(Socialdemocrat should be said). I only expose what I know about communism because of I think it's very important to build a solid fundament to dont be manipulated. That's all |
