Who says we are doing exactlly what we are suppose to? Seriously if it wasn't for the dark ages, two world wars and various other bullshit set backs Humans would already be exploring the galaxy, colonized on Mars and possibly elsewhere, be far more advanced in medical knowledge ect. Made contact with other advanced species outside of our solar system ect ect ect...

If anything we have been held back becuase of our own stupidity, ignorance, greed, power hungry politicans and possible intervention from outside forces (hence UFO aliens). I do not believe in God or gods because simply it's too far fetched. Just becuase something is a higher power doesn't make it a god.

No no no. I Mean we're doing what were supposed to as individuals and working in the divine plan or whatever. Wherever it wants us to be it will put us.

What divine plan? Why woudl something have a "plan" for us. WHy can't we just be following our own course as time goes on. Where did religion come from? the idea of God or Gods? ALl of it came from the imagination of people. Some I believe witnessed something they couldn't understand (act of nature such as a massive storm, encounter with a ghost, aliens ect.) and they told their story which later was passed down and became a religion or myth.

My point is that you continute to hold onto the idea of some greater plan for all life when iun reality there is no such thing. All life in the universe follows it's own path as far as evolution goes. Nothing controls my destiny but me

i say believe in god, but not in religion. To me religion is evil and exploits people. Have you not noticed that all religions claim the others are wrong? why not save everyone a lot of trouble and save a lot of lives and just remove religion and let people worship a universal god that does not write a holy book where there are talking donkeys and where the earth is orbited by stars.

Why do we need a god at all, you seem to be missing my point. This is the 21st century, after 200,000 + years of evolution we as the Humans species need to move past such primitive ways of thinking.

Of course the Earth (and our star system) is orbited by stars. There are trillions of stars in our galaxy alone not counting all of the billions of other galaxies out there. Our solar system is not the center of the universe but there are many, many other star systems and galaxies that orbit sround us in a manner of speaking. lol

Nobody is forcing you to believe anything. I am just speaking what is fact, their is no hard evidence of anykind that a God exsist. The Bible is NOT evidence of God or anything else. Their is no proff that Jesus was crucified or that he rised from the dead. It's nothing more than myth and story telling. Their is somewhat proof of ghosts & hauntings, aliens and still unidentified flying craft (aka UFO). So as far as I am concernd the whole Science vs. Religion & God argument has was won along time ago...By science.

I rest my case

I am probably a "tooth fairy agnostic" (agnostic with the probability of gods existence about the same as the tooth fairy). If I believed in anything supernatural I would have a hard time drawing a line. Once making the leap of faith to believe in God, it would seem difficult to not believe in a variety of other gods/goddesses.
