I'm about done with Supremacy for good.

Granted this shit is only happening with this one guy, but it's happening in both games I am in with him and it's a bunch of bs.

First I have abut 25k troops sitting in a lvl 1 fort. He attacks with a force of 15k troops with lower morale and not only defeats my army and takes the city, but still has 10k troops left over when the fighting is done.

In the next set up on a different game, he attacks my force of 21k troops with 10k, again with higher morale on my side, and not only wipes it out completely, but doesn't take even ONE unit of casualties.
This isn't exactly uncommon. My brother has similar problems and in my 2nd game I ran into this with Arabia.

There's two methods of doing what he did - either A count on the RNG to roll his way (best chance of this happening is if both troop and province morale is below 50% loyalty, my brother is plauged by your problem, and I've noticed that in every case he's facing these losses on provinces that have less than 50% morale while constant battle has worn his troops down to about 40%); or he can do B - which is break up his 15/10k into smaller batches of 5k. The game combat system counts each seperate unit as a different battle up to 20 divisions (meaning, if you have 25k, only 20k count as in battle each hour tick, the rest are treated as reserves waiting to replace frontline losses). However, the latter method is tricky because 99% of the time the attacker loses more than the defender (I've used the technique a lot and usually it does cost me more, but not always).

This kid's definitely getting lucky - but check the province morale. If it's low, then this will keep happening. If it's high, then he's on a lucky streak and you've just gotta wait it out. Trust me, his streak will end.
Possibly. On the first case when I was defending, I believe the city morale was in the 40s (though my troop morale was in the high 70s, his was in the low 60s). But he didn't split his forces any, so its probably a combination of option A and sheer luck.

Also, idk if the ww1 game has anti-cheat on (i nvr selected it) but try to get your brother in.

Oh, and before I forget, in the final battle I have something in the 30s or 40s of troops left in the attacks, he only has 4, so it didn't go his way this time.

lulz, ruthless, I like it.

Typically, I'll never breach any AI country with anything less than 150 men in a solid unit to absorb counterattacks. It's a rule that's allowed me to occupy entire countries in 48 hours on the 30-player maps.
How do you expand in the beginning then do you just sit there for a few days while your troops build up?

This was a 12 player game btw, luckily I allied with france, let portugal kill about half his armies, and I killed the other half (he literally has 4 in one city and 1 in every other city now, and no other forces, he lost around 100k between me nad portugal, I did lose 50 k but he is my only enemy atm.

Well the first few days are easier because the coup d'etats haven't started yet so the AI won't fight back if the player is inactive. It's on Day 4 that I invoke the 150-man rule.

But attacking early on Day 1 against an active player without allies is risky. To give an example in my Morocco game within two hours of the beginning of the game West Algeria threw everything he had straight into my territory. I was lucky in that the provinces he chose to attack were the ones I had chosen to start fortifying. Even better I saw him coming and reinforced my building fortresses immediately. He sent his armies in piecemeal, and as a result 3/4ers of his army (74 divs) were slaughtered at the cost of 40 of mine by Day 2's end. His last 6 offensive divisions were lost when he took advantage of an unguarded pathway into my territory and tried to sneak behind my lines.

Again I saw him coming, again I reinforced, and as usual, he was defeated. He still had 20 divisions left for defense against my 50. And so by the end of Day 3, his territory was mine. If he had an ally, sure, his rush strategy would have worked brilliantly. And if you have a trustworthy ally feel free to attack early. But I rarely ally with anyone stronger then I am, preferring to destroy their armies and conquer their lands for myself, so for me and my play style it's better to wait and build up a larger army as in most cases I don't ally with stronger players and so I'm usually the one reinforcing others.

It's a default option, so if you didn't manually select it it is still on. And I'm pretty sure it is on. I'll check again tomorrow.

And lol, lucky streaks like his don't last long. In my first game, I threw 246 Inf and 13 Artillery against 156 Ukrainian Inf, 1 Tank, and 10 Artillery over a lvl. 1 Fort with +25% morale advantage. I was slaughtered, pathetically so. My lines in France were only saved because of the timely arrival of my allies who pushed Ukraine back into Germany until I could establish my Atlantic transport route. However, he has never had such luck again. So lucky streaks always end. Unfortunately you're still screwed while they last. This is most certainly a game where planning for the worst is a good idea.

What's sad is, between me and Ukraine we've wasted over 1.5 million men at arms and I still haven't reached his Goddamned capital. But once I capture it, I'll have my plunder of his 1 million plus change currency reserves. Which ironically I gave him, since I've been buying his resources. :P

Since the B&S I game has been hte most enjoyable so far, but some people got shafted due to positioning and other factors (Fate & Loto...poor Loto) and had two ppl quit (Fel and Jake lol) I am going to make a new B&S II game sometime tonite. It won't have a "start when full" option though, so if you want in join asap.

4 of the 10 slots are already filled, so if you want in, post in here and check back for the game info.
