This thread is a list of the terminology we use here at Soul Revolver. It’s ever expanding, so check back if you see something you don’t get. Spirit Shots- The Weapons Marshals and Soul Enders use to kill and purify hollows. They are almost always in the shape of a gun, more specifically, a revolver, though there have been exceptions over the years. Spirit Shots require compressed reiatsu to fire, and the power of each shot is directly proportional to how strong the Soul ender or Marshal is. This reiatsu is taken directly from the Marshal or Soul Ender, unless they have a… Soul Star- A tool which gathers and stores reishi (spirit particles) for the Marshal to use as ammo. Marshals are outfitted with one once enlisted into service, and they do not disappear upon their death. See the plot for how they are related to soul enders and Adepts. Soul Frontier- The first release of a Spirit Shot, attained by learning its true name. A soul frontier is usually a larger weapon than the base Spirit shot revolver, and has a useable ability. And example of a soul frontier would be a a shotgun that blasted out shards of ice instead of pellets that could freeze things temporarily. Final Shot- The secondary release of a Spirit Shot, attained by manifesting your spirit in the outside world. Final shots are big, showy, and ultra powerful. Think logical progression when it comes to Your final shot, for instance, that shotgun that blasted ice now could be a triple barreled shotgun that shot solid ice slugs.
