Somehow, he got enought luck to pass in the dark alleys without being spotted by the guards. Several groups of them ran in the streets, but none spotted him...

...the moment he started climbing up the wall, his luck ended.

"Found you."

A figure of another dark mage, mounted on a griffin landed on the roof of a house opposing the wall he was trying to climb on.

"Tempus temporis lethum!" the killing spell flew through the air, aiming straight for Firrah´s back.

Suddenly an eatheral woman figure appeared in its way. The spell hit her with a flash of dark purple light.

She stood in the air, looking on the mage, the energy from the spell making her form much more visible. "Do you really expect this spell to kill an undead? But were are you..." she held her hands together, accumulating the nether that hit her in them, "...I´d watch out for your mount!"

With that, she released the energy back towards the caster. The curse hit the griffin. The creature let out a high pitched sound and fell down the roof together with the mage on its back...

It was Nirka, looking on Firrah.

"Are you alright there? This won´t hold them for a long tho, we better disappear before this gets over us... what is with your leg?"

He dropped down to the ground landing on his feet, his knee wavered and gave way, collapsing to the ground grinding his teeth to deal with the pain. He watched the events unfold, for a moment he thought that his time had come for him to die, he watched the death spell hurtle towards him only to hit Nirka, thanking the gods that he had her on his side. He watched her shoot a spell at the griffin which fell to the ground and died.

"Some rubble fell on my leg. I'm not sure what is wrong with it. But whatever the hell it is, it hurts and I can't run properly. Nirka have you got any spells that could help my leg? Or do I have to go find Nive?"

Getting back up to his feet and leaning against the wall, spitting at the ground.

"I can´t heal, not a living person..." she watched him, rather clueless what to do. "I could send one of us to find and bring Nive here, if-"

"Ledo venere!" A spell flew through the air again, narrowly missing the house behind Firrah. "Rebels! In our own ranks!"

"Mino, go to Nive. Get a grip of one of those griffins and get him here. I´ll try to deal with this one. Hurry!"
There were more banshees in the air, one just coundn´t see them. Nirka herself flew up in the air to face the mage and shield Firrah.

"You will not escape! By the will of master Sayr, you will go down!" the mage appeared from behind the corner. He was limping, his body was damaged by the fall, but he was still capable of fighting them.

"Is that so..." Nirka spoke calmly, floating.

The mage grinned. In a swift move, he raised his wand against the sky. Awaiting another spell, Nirka readied herself to shield Firrah against it...

...but this time it wasn´t an attack. A dark sphere flew from it, high into the nigh.

"...dark flare." she sighed. Nirka knew this. She could feel it.

"And the hell begins for you!" the mage laughed.

"...alright... this is not good," she spoke to Firrah silently while watching their enemy. "It was a signal that all the undead felt. We will have a lot of company soon... I really hope that Mino comes back."

Firrah spat at the ground sheathing his axes, looking a Nirka nodding his head, the time had come when he had the proper need of the banshee. Limping forward using a nearby wall as a support for himself.

"Yes go get the boy." he said after breathing in sharply with pain.

When the dark mage appeared and sent a dark flare up into the sky, Firrah growled.

"N-Not... Not before I send you to hell!" Firrah snarled, but his words came out slowly, as pain gripped his body.

Snatching a dagger from his belt and throwing it at the dark mage as hard as he could.

The mage took the hit. The dagger sank into his flesh as he lurched in his unsure stand and looked back to Firrah with a satisfied smile:

"No matter what you do. You will fail. And we will win."

"Not as long as I still have something to say!!" Nirka screamed and dived towards the mage. Her silhouette passed through his, for a moment it was not clear what was happening... and then, the mage dropped dead on the ground.

"I should have done this the first moment he came up." The banshee re-appeared standing behind the dead body. "Sisters! We fight and stand until the boy arrives!"

At the moment she finished her sentence, another banshees turned visible for mortal eye. There was far more of them than one could´ve guessed, all of them freed by breaking Ngye´s might over his nercomancer´s staff. There could be 20, perhaps even over 40 of them floating in the air around Firrah, down just above the strees and several metres high between the buildings, the glow of their eatheral bodies providing a freezingly cold, pale blue light.

"...or until we are done for," Nirka silently added.

Shades were gathering. High up on the sky, the griffins of the flying patrols were closing up on the place of their target, mounted by the mages. Numerous silhouettes were visible moving in the streets, fully sure where to go thanks to their fallen member...

"You stay here. As soon as Nive and Mino comes back, get on the griffin and let it carry you out of here," Nirka spoke to Firrah. "As long as you have the wand and the necklace, none of us can really die. And if we won´t get from here alive... it was great knowing you."

After that, the banshees, including her, stormed against the incoming attackers.

Despite one would guess that the banshees might gain a quick win, it wasn´t so much true. The mages knew what are they standing against - and they were prepared. After all, it was them who kept those ´creatures´ under their control. There was no more human soldiers in the battle, preventing possible possession of non-magic users. The ghost-like beings had hard time to take control of any mage who was prepared to defend by a spell or simply force them out of their bodies by will.

While the followers of Nirka were slowly losing their stand on the ground, still keeping Firrah safe in the middle of them, the situation on the sky was turning more in favour for them. The griffins were living. Or at least - until the banshees simply killed them by touch. They fell down the sky together with the mages on them, turning them into an easy prey for the rebelling undead...

The storm of spells of the Dark Order hitting into the eatheral crowd lusting for their own freedom continued.

A sharp light cut through the sky.

At that very moment, both of the sides actually stopped fighting for a second.

A griffin descended next to Firrah, with Nive already sitting on its back.

"Come, let´s get out of here!" he extended his hand from the sit to help Firrah get on the back of the animal as the battle around them started to rage again.

"It's not about winning or losing mage. It's about me getting what I want with no strings attached I knew what your bosses plan was! I am not going to be a slave, not again! DIE!" Firrah roared against the pain in his leg.

Listening to the passionate screaming of Nirka who so desperately wanting her freedom, something they had in common but what she had said to him next that confused, he just smiled grimly and said.

"Liar."

Watching the battle rage, he wanted to so much to join them, to fight and destroy, he wanted to leap from griffon to griffon killing the riders or tossing them over the side. Leaning against the wall keeping his eye on the battle.

Then with the white flash lit up the sky, Firrah closed his eyes to protect his eyes before he knew it he heard the boys voice, opening his eyes he grasped Nive's arm and heaved himself up on the Griffon while gritting his teeth in pain. When he was comfortable, he drew an axe.

Nive turned on the warrior, examining him by sight.

"The banshee said you are wounded, sir... I don´t know if I can-"

A flash of a dark magic spell flying close to them. The energy hit the house next to them, severely damaging the wall.

"I promise I will take a look on you when we get out of here," he said, turning to pet the head of the possessed griffin. "Go," he said softly.

The creature didn´t wait for a second spur. It spread its wings and before they could notice, they were in the air, racing away from the place. But - they weren´t the only ones flying above the capital. Soon, the patrols on griffins went after them.

"We need to lose them..." Nive watched. "Or-"

An unusual sight came to their eyes. The griffin patrols were falling, one by one, like ripe fruits from a tree.

"Banshees..."
he whispered. He was thinking about something, and it took a while before he spoke again:

"Ugh forgive me, sir... I... you must be in lots of pain, sir. If you wanted, I could easen that... I mean- um," he paused for a longer moment. "If you wanted, I could... make you sleep... make the... wound regenerate..." he spoke unsurely, "I cannot do much with it otherwise until we land, and I hope that this creature carrying us knows where to hide... I would... wake you up once we are on the land... if... that would be... alright..."

((if you´d agree with Nive´s plan, I´d proceed with the escape -take you are mostly safe by now, the banshees covered you pretty well- and post to a new place?))

Looking at his own look he had to aid Nive in order to know more about the wound he had sustained.

"Some rubble crushed my leg, the leg that had been been damaged a long time ago. I have no other choice but to let you put me to sleep but if you run away I will come for you. I will hunt you down!"

Firrah thought about the words he had just said he knew that if he was put to sleep the boy could have easily killed him. Watching the griffons and dark mages fight against the banshees, still wanting to jump to each griffon and slay.

"Come now boy, put me to sleep before I jump to the fight!"

((Yeah sure man we can do that))

Nive did as Firrah asked him. He placed his hands on the warriors skin, making the spots where he touched him tingle slightly... and soon Firrah felt a strange comfort running through his body, slowly making him fall asleep.

((will be continuing out of all this Capital madness, down here))
