"I´ve been waiting for you, Gueira," a figure in long, black cloak with dark purple ornaments said by deep voice. He was sitting in the end of the large meeting table in the Great Hall of the Imperial Palace, a heavily decorated place where the Emperor and nobles usually gathered. In fact, he sat on the Emperor´s seat. There was no one else aside of him, the room was covered in the thick night darkness, only a sphere infont of him emitted a weak glow. "I almost thought you forgot..."

"I never would, my master!" the voice if the one of the witch-general sounded from inside the sphere. She talked hastily, like frightened, trying to appease him. "I beg you for forgiveness, I got caught in a sandstorm!"

"Again?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, my master! Even with my flying mount, these things can delay me..."

"Very well, then. Did you arrive at the place yet?" He leaned the tips of his fingers together.

"Almost. The storms here seem to be getting stronger and stronger every day, so I have to walk on the ground lately. I think she knows about our plan..."

"Of course she does!" he grated his teeth. "Do you really think Rheia is blind? She can feel it. She does know about every single move we take! And now-"

"But she cannot do anything? A few sandstorms... is that something that could really stop us?" she said carefreely, leaving a silent, unsure laugh at the end.

"Of course she can!" his voice thundered. "I don´t know if she can directly read minds of her ´children´ or hear all we speak about, but she knows something is happening! And now - I spoke with our spies in the Great Plains!" he hit the table with a closed fist. "She has chosen a new Kaela-Rikkan!"

"What?"

"Yes, she did! Tenaku is the name," he frowned.

"Tenaku? That name sounds... barbarian-like. What can a bunch of wild apes do to the Empire?"

"Shut up, stupid!" he shouted. "That girl alone is a great threat for all of us!" Suddenly, the true, beastly face of the ´timid advisor serving the Emperor´ was visible. An ambitious, impatient man, silently preparing his own deeds in the shade of the human empire. A dangerous person. What more, armed with his undiscutable skills in the dark arts he displayed earlier. And... was he really the one who Gueira reffered to as her master? "She is guided by the so-called goddess and followed by thousands of her worshippers. She must be removed!"

"Yes, she does!" she agreed immediately. "...is that why I was sent here, master?" she added.

"In a way, yes..." his upset expression turned into a self-confident grin. "I originally wanted to use that item to help the human forces break into the walls of Akar-Dorah... but since the kid, Kara, requested it..."

"Kara? I heard the name before, but never thought-"

"He is our ally. Or - at least for now. The poor little living creature believes I don´ t see through his simplistic plans."

"How do you mean, master?"

"It is him who told me about Tenaku. It takes no genious to read his mind, even from afar through the seeing sphere," he grinned. "He even signed an alliance with Silverfall, which he tries to keep in secret from us! But how can he... naive kid," he chuckled. He had the upper hand here. And Kara believed he did... "He means to use the alliance with us for defeating Tenaku. To close some sort of his childish game, or perhaps a petty revenge. After that, he has no idea what to do. But... after this is done, he won´t have much time to do anything. Neither him nor the few lousy neeva survivors he will lure out to the battle for Akar-Dorah. Do you know why, Gueira?" he asked.

"Please tell me, my lord? What your plan? Is it because of it?" she asked impatiently as a little child. Of course, she in fact knew. And she knew very well.

"Yes!" he laughed. "He and his stupid allies will be dead long before they will even notice! All of the living will be!" he laughed. "And then - it will finally be the time of my reign! The long awaited era without Rheia as the rule! The era when she will be the slave of us!" The last sentence of the imperial advisor turned into a loud, evil laugh, soon joined by Gueira.

"Soon, very soon..."
