Neevaes as a race are, at least regarding physical appearence, very similar to human beings. The few differencies between these two nations inhabiting Rheia would be that Neevaes have slightly more androgynous facial features than their human counterparts - and, above all, differ by their unmatching capacity regarding magic.

It is very well known that their bodies have a special system of "veins" leading pure ether, allowing them to cast spells quickly and effectively - and, in the end, communicate with and control iontae to such degree that they can perform an actual summoning of these magical beings. If a neeva mage is pushed into a very stressful situation, these "veins" may become clearly visible, believed to be some kind of warning sent towards the opponent before a magic hell breaks out.

Another interesting thing about Neevaes is that the colour of their eyes can change. Literally, in a blink of an eye. Sure, this fact attracted the interest of Aiekara scholars, resulting into a study saying that its because of the high level of ether present in neeva tissues - and that their eyes often change their colour according to the mood of their bearer. Still, no one can precisely say what does a certain colour precisely tell, since there is no "standardized" spectrum for neevae moods. In other words, no one can tell what do yellow eyes mean, however, it is rather clear that if you ever encounter an armed Neeva staring on you by bloodily red eyes, you might consired yourself having a problem.

Aside of all mentioned above, just like humans, each individual neeva differs from any other. Some are taller, some are shorter, some are more thin and some are more muscular. Some of them even don´t use magic, resulting into the "ether circulatory system" to become stunted. And, an interesting remark: no one has ever seen a fat neeva.

They live in large families called "clans" that usually consist of up to three generations sharing a large household, which often means several houses standing together. Unlike in case of humans, belonging to a single clan doesn´t mean being separated from the other ones - for example, children are welcome everywhere and mothers often "share" them in a way similar to kindergardens just like the adults take care of elderly people no matter which family they belong to. Often, different clans are sort of specialised in some kind of craft, occupation, etc. Clan names can be inherited from both parents. Alsso, it is quite common that children stay second-name-less until the age when their inherited talents become apparent - and accept the name of either of their parents´ clan (or, in certain situations, found their own). Older persons that can no longer work or serve the society in other way may become members of the city coucil which elects and advises the city leader.

The leader of Silverfall is a person that is responsible for both running the city, leading his people and representing them in the outside world. He can consider listening to the eldars or act on his own, however, he must be aware that he can be called away any time he loses favour of more than half of the eldars in the council (currently, there are 15 eldars active).

Generally, Neevaes are regarded as a race that is very tightly connected to nature. They have been living as a part of the Muon Forest for ages and they seem to be trying to pursue the same goal at their current location. They deeply respect all aspects of Rheia and would never willingly act in a way to disturb her "balance", a thing they often mention when talking to visitors asking for help. They seem to somehow percieve the state of nature around them, trying to interfere into it as little as possible - unless it is needed. Thus, it is very well known fact that a huge number of Neevaes (actually, all of them within Silverfall) are vegetarians and that they will kill an animal only in case that it is either mortally wounded or somehow threating the balance in their surroundings. They usually don´t breed any other than decorative, pet or for clothing animals (e. g. a tiny amount of sheep). Sure, some say that they are paying for this by a slighly shorter lifespan than humans, but in return, Rheia gave them the abilities the other races could never dream of - for example telepathically contacting iontae, quickly renewing the ether or "mana" within their bodies or obtaining a "message" about any visitor that have entered the forests around Silverfall.
