Hearing the celebrations around him, Firrah scans the room noting faces and easiest escape routes if called for. His head turned to a few soldiers who were having a few drinks at a nearby table, and when they said: "Have a drink on us." Firrah's eyes brightened and a smile crossed his face, he walked over to them and taking a seat.

"Isn't it a bit early to start drinking?" Firrah asked with a grin "It's a rhetorical question, it's never too early to drink!"

In the back of Firrah's head there was a nagging feeling that he had a job to do, but what was one beer going to do?

"Eleven years of service? That's not bad, voluntary or were you guys conscripts?"

Firrah kept his eyes scanning his surroundings, he was looking just incase Nirka reappeared somewhere and tried to get him to follow her to do their assignment for the day.

"So apart from the service ending, what else is the celebrating for?"

"A question that wasn´t needed! That´s right!" one of them cried out, raising his glass. "I like that guy! Give him something!"

A burst of happy laugher. One of them handed him a pint of beer, followed by another.

"Eleven years spent in an army, not enough for you as a reason to celebrate?" Another laugh and singing. It seemed that his lack of knowledge about how things went in their society was amusing them in a good, friend-ish way.

"Man, where do you come from!" One of them patted his shoulder. "You didn´t serve in the army? Everyone here does! Bah, doesn´t matter... drink, mate!"

There was still no sign of the banshee. She was somewhere around, for sure, but couldn´t be seen.

"Me? I'm from the south."

Firrah took the pint of beer and took a long draught from the pint of beer, slurping down the booze with a lick on his lips he smiled, he placed the glass down on the table, smiling because he had gotten free beer, apart from that he was getting rather annoyed with the noise around him, a sure sign of getting older, back in his younger days he would have been singing, shouting and tossing people out of the windows.

"These soldier boys wouldn't try to force me mate."

"South? Heh..." the former soldier took a long sip from his bottle. "Man, everyone comes from there, hey? The training fortress is there!" He handed him another pint.

The celebration was going well, everyone was still in a great mood and the soldiers seemed to be very far from being tired, despite they must´ve began many hours ago.

But then...

Crack!

It was in less than a blink of an eye. The pint in Firrah´s hand was shattered into pieces, only the handle of it remaining in there. The whole room suddenly turned dead silent. Everyone was shocked.

A throwing knife was stuck in the wall to Firrah´s left. And the one who threw it, a soldier sitting several seats to his right, stared on him with a grin on his face.

"What do you say on this, warrior?" A strange flash appeared for a second in the soldier´s eyes.

Looking towards the man who had bought the beer.

"I haven't been there for twenty-two years, I've been... exploring."

Taking another long draught from his pint, Firrah eyes exploded into a blazing inferno when his beer splashed over him, his beer had been wasted in such an evil manner. Firrah jumped up angrily from his seat.

"Excuse me for a moment boys."

Firrah didn't notice the flash in the soldiers eye, he strode over to the soldier angrily.

"Hello, I am Firrah Duerurt, also known as the Black Lion or the Black Beast, you might have heard of me?"

His fists clenched and unclenched, his rage was bubbling but he was planning on a good show for the rest of soldiers, to show his dominance and to make sure no one else will do anything like that again. He knew he had exposed who he really was but he couldn't help that, he wanted to instill fear into the soldier if he knew who Firrah was.

The soldier sat still on his chair, laughing towards Firrah. It seemed the whole thing amused him.

"Now this is fun! What are you going to do, warrior? I thought I will pass you a knife, since you thought I cannot?" he grinned wide, showing his teeth. "Mortals can do such great faces!" He seemed not to care about any threat from him at all.

The other men didn´t think of this as so much funny. Some of them got up and went for their weapons and gear they left next the walls, some just watched in shock... and one of them stared directly on the man that attacked Firrah.

"Why did you do that!"

"I would like you to pass me knife in your true form and not so much throwing it at me."

Firrah laughed a little when Nirka in the soldiers body made the comment about humans making nice faces. He moved next to the possessed soldier, his on hand on the shoulders shoulder.

"I have to admit, possessing the soldier is actually an improvment on your looks."

Firrah moves his hand to the soldiers hair messing it up playfull but he had another idea, he grabs a handful and goes to slam the possessed soldiers head against the table using as much strength and force as he could muster.

"Can you feel that!?!"

A silent chuckle.

"So you´ve noticed..." the voice of the soldier warped into the banshee´s one. "An improvement of your brain, apparently, too!" she grinned. Well... at least before Firrah made his move. She didn´t expect that.

At the moment the soldier´s head hit the table, a band of his comrades had already swords in their hands, pointing with them on their former drinking buddy. The unarmed rest of them disappeared from the table, probably to get their weapons too.

"Ugh-..." her voice didn´t shift back. She was keeping hers, slowly trying to raise on ´her´ foot. Apparently the hit made the being inside the body dizzy.

"Stop that!"
she ordered the soldiers that encircled them. "We are servants of the Dark Order and His Royal Majesty! ...agh-" ´she´ held on the table not to fall. "His-" she shook by head "...his body belongs to the Order now, so stand back before you will regret this!"

Firrah looked at the possessed soldier and laughed loudly, but as he heard the rattle and clatter of weapons being drawn, Firrah looked at the soldiers challengingly, he clicked the heels of his boots so the hidden blade slip out, he then draws his twin axes.

"If you gentlemen don't step down I will cut you down where you stand! What about you!?"

Firrah points an axe at one of the soldiers, meaning every word he says, but he had other important things to take care of.

"Come on Nirka let's go!"

He continues to point out soldiers with his axes challenging them to do something they surely will regret, Firrah knew he would probably die but the principle was: Never back down. And he would try and bring as many soldiers to the underworld as possible.

The soldiers stood still with their weapons in hands, the speech of Nirka only made them just lower them a little. In contrast to that, despite they raised their blades again when Firrah spoke, most of them backed, leaving him a small corridor to the door.

"We are on a mission there! So get out of our-" the soldier had to catch on wall not to fall. "Alright. I´m out of this!" she hissed.

Just a second after that the soldier collapsed on the floor lifelessly. Nirka appeared behind Firrah, her face twisted in disgust. "I don´t like humans... I seriously DON´T!" She raised her voice into a loud shriek, floating high behind him. "Yes, let´s leave." She added and followed Firrah outside into the cloudy afternoon.

((okay, let´s get out of the city))
