The mage grinned on Firrah´s remarks, revealing vampire-like teeth. "Not sure if you really value your life, with such speech..." he raised his other hand, summoning a heavy iron wand from the tavern corner into it. As he caught it, it was visible that not only his face, but his left hand was nothing more than a skeleton, too. "What is that what you pursue, runaway? Or... wait, no," he stopped in his talk, turning away. "Save that for later today. I will await you this night in the ruins of Yegash´s temple above the city. You better come..." He walked to the door and turned to him one last time "...or die during this night." With that he closed the door behind him by his skeletal hand. When the dark mage bares his vampire-like teeth, Firrah smiles, he no longer knew fear he met fear face to face when he was in the gladitor pits. He had seen all kinds of un-godly things when he fought for survival but all he could say when he saw the teeth was. "Ooh spikey." he mimicked a childs voice, then he continued "I didn't make a statement, I asked a question." with that said he smiles cheekily. Firrah taking the bottle of whiskey with him he heads outside, looking left to right. The night seemed rather chilly, but he had other pressing matters to attend to rather than feeling the nights chill, he had important buisness. "Now. . . Where are these temple ruins?" |

====================================================== It was late morning, perhaps even noon when Firrah woke up. The light coming in the room through small windows from outside couldn´t wake him up earlier, it was so weak that it seemed that it´s still just before dawn... the truth was different, tho. It was steadily snowing and the sky was covered by heavy, thick clouds. "Awake, already?" Nirka passed through the door to the bedroom, putting an ironic distress on the last word. "Living beings waste so much time by sleeping..." |

"For a dead person you're not all that quiet. Don't you have a grave to get back to?" Swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, Firrah rubs his eyes drowsily, then he cast the banshee a glance with a cynical grin. Firrah cracks his neck as he slipped on a shirt, then the suit of leather armour. Stretching his muscles, Firrah admires the scars that riddles his arms and hands. "What is on the agenda today? I wish I had some cigars. Where are your boys? They said they would get me my cigars." |

She grinned back on his remark. "For a living person, you seem eager to call death upon you?" She floated around him. "Strenght is nothing if you challenge magic itself..." her eatheral silhouette raised one hand in some handsign. Before Firrah could recognise what she was doing, her image disappeared. A loud cheer came from the downstairs. It seemed the tavern was full. "No one arrived so far," a voice coming from the space around said calmly. "At least not from what I´ve seen. But there´s a merry company down there, perhaps some of the could have one or two? If you really insist on getting them... but I think we should set up for our way to Traitor´s Watch as soon as possible. The time is running and the general will leave Tenkuv today." ((hehe... for a dead person, you are... XD so that´s the sarcastic humour he has mentioned in his bio? lol)) |

Firrah smiles as he wraps his cloak around himself, he secures his axes and knives into his belt, he slips on his boots and looks at himself in a mirror. "Strength is more reliable than magic, magic has a mind of its own and it corrupts even the strongest will. Strength changes all the time and you control it.... Well except you because your dead and have no strength. You can touch but not move things." Firrah spat on the ground, the only time he gave in to the need of using magic was the healing it provided. "See the difference between you and me is..." Firrah smiled and looked at his banshee companion "Actually... can you pass me that chair? Oops I forgot, damn only living creatures can do that." Laughing a little he places his hand on the necklace that the dark mages had gave him, Firrah had an idea how to destroy the banshee... If the situation called for it. "Come on, we got a job to do, more we get done the quicker I get what I want and the quicker from losing the dead puppy." Edited by Firrah Duerurt, 27 Dec 2010, 01:50 AM.

She backed a little in the air, folding her arms and appearing again, waiting until Firrah was finished with his jokes. "You´re forgetting certain things, warrior," she said calmly, yet coldly. "Did you see the mage that brought you to the temple? He is undead as well, and I am sure you wouldn´t like to feel his ´touch´..." She floated close to him, passing by, gently following by fingertips on his cheek. The presence of her hand itself made him feel cold on it, if not directly freeze... and unpleasant feeling of course, a death passing close to him. "Beings like me are highly priced within the Order. It would be nothing without us. But once... I´ll show you," she said, passing through the door, disappearing with a silent laugh. |

“Yeah, looks like the mage made the very same mistake. I have been stabbed, slashed, bludgeoned, clawed, hacked at, kicked, bitten, punched, you name it I have been through it.” Firrah smirked as she stepped back, feeling a smile slowly crawl across his face. Firrah looked at the banshee as she stroked his cheek. “I’d highly prize you if you were six foot underground, that’s where corpses should be, and ghosts should be with it’s body.” Firrah whispered to himself as Nirka walked through the door. Firrah checked himself making sure he had everything on him, he opened the door and headed down the steps following the Banshee. “Here ghosty ghosty, there’s a haunted house you can live in.” Firrah whispered under his breath as he looked around for the Banshee. |

There was no sign of Nirka since she left through the door. She must´ve turned invisible for the others, again. But, just as she said earlier, there seemed to be a small celebration downstairs. A bunch of city soldiers sat around tables, drinking and eating, laughing. "Hey, don´t you want to join us?" one of them called Firrah, seeing him enter the room. "Have a drink on me, fellow!" The table was apparently in a good mood, talking loudly. "Yes, today´s the end of our duty in the military!" "Heeeeeey, the 11 years are gone!" another one cried out loudly happily. "Come sit with us, just for one drink, ey?" he called Firrah again. |
