A great number of Silverfall citiziens stood gathered on a small square under a balcony of one of the houses. They seemed to be awaiting something impatiently, like some important new should arrive...

And then two older Neevaes walk our from inside the house, signing by hands to the crowd for silence.

"People of Silverfall! After a long and hard consideration, the Council has decided!"

"The new leader of Silverfall for the next year will be... Iktim Rehem!"

Soon after the name of the new leader is said, another Neeva steps out on the balcony. But unlike many others, he is not wearing a civilian or summoner´s clothes, not even a wand for summoning.

He is dressed in rather fighter-like outfit, with a bow, quiver and a long narrow sword on his back.

It is Iktim Rehem, a Neevae ranger.

He watched the people gathered under the balcony, aware that every previous leader had a speech ready when he was elected. Not his case, tho. He considered long politician-like speeches boring and useless. Although...

"Citiziens of Silverfall! I would like to thank the Eldars that voted for me, but at the same time I am aware that this city has never had a non-magic user leading it. To make this clear and quick..."

Suddenly he stopped, looking into uncertain point in a far. He was listening to something.

"Someone is coming, through the waterfall portal!" He said shortly, swiftly jumped down from the balcony and ran through the crowd, drawing sword from his back.

The eldars looked on themselves questioningly.
"Alright, I admit he´s a bit wilder..." one of them replied on his collegues sight.

It didn´t take long for the others to get to the waterfall, but he was there first. And a stranger standing infront of him, still wet from the water falling down from the rock, hiding portal leading into Aiekara behind itself.

"Sorry for the first shock, but you never know who is coming..." Iktim was smiling, with the blade hidden again. "Especially with your city surrounded. ...anyway you came because of that, didn´t you?"

"Yes, my lord," the messenger bowed "Aiekara is under siege, Teimzurr army has cut us off any other way than this..."

"...and the regent requires help, most likely. I´ve seen the army myself when it was still stationed in Donhir. Hordes of footmen, many mages. Something that would need a spellbreaker and summoners´ touch."

"Yes, milord. Regent Lionir humbly asks the city of Silverfall for support..."

"What is your estimation of the time before the real battle starts?"

"We count it in hours... perhaps..."

"From what I know, Teimzurr likes to attack during night. That makes less than 6 hours," he thought aloud. "Eldars and guards! I want all volunteers assembled here in two hours. These who wishes to repulse these who took our ancestors´ land, be here! ...and get a water for this scout. I will be back in no time, I have to see the situation on my own first."

With that he stepped behind the stranger through the waterfall, disappearing in the portal.

"...but perhaps that´s what we needed in these times, not?" The eldar closed his discussion with the others.

Denise, alto still not sure if she was going to like this new leader. Knew the city needed help. The city was almost the last border of defense that they had, and silverfall would be no match to them, she had to help.. with still thinking, and as one of the first. She walked to the portal, and stood there.

Feeling how the eyes of some people where creeping up her back and wanted to make her scream quit it out! But she didend, she stood there. Mentally chatting with baldrog, of the newly approaching battle

While some were watching the first person that reacted, other Neevaes started to gather around Denise.

From the beginning, only several, but as the time advanced, their number grew.

"Going to wait here for these two hours we have? No equipment, no message to your house?" one of them standing next to her remarked. "If I were you I would... what do you think about our new leader, anyway?"

"I got no familie to leave behind, no-one to write a letter to, shoudend you be going home? You still got time. and i whont be far away."

"Seriously... I would have to go to Teimzurr then. My parents left through the portal 15 years ago to join their cause."

At the same time the ranger stepped out from the whirling wall in the portal arch. The so far gathered group turned to him.

"Alright, it is as the messenger said. Plenty of footmen, some cavalery... catapults, dark mages. Many of them. I want the spellbreakers go first and ensure the streets in the city are clean, you know what these guys can do." He looked around tell all the others to go through already. If there are any assasins or some that can walk unseen, I want them go with me. Got a plan to do. Understood?"

She was cut off by the leader, she turned watched him. he atleast knew what he was doing or so it seemed she looked to him, giving a somewhat supportive pet on his back "Summoners stay in the back, reflect and let there iontante give them hell right?"

Iktim stepped aside from the portal, watching the first Neevae melee fighters getting in. He grinned, hearing the remark from the young summoner.

"Yeah... something like that. Plus I want several people sneak out and attack the siege camps from behind. Summoners would be useful even there, but I´m not sure if we can pass through that easily."

He turned back to the portal, its weak glow reflecting on his face and skin.

"Alright. There will be an Aiekara captain or someone so from their crew to tell you where they need you, so follow their orders as they were mine. Anyway, I´ll be in the battle with you, too. And that´s it... my group, let´s go!"
