Acronym tags are pretty simple so heres how it works and where you can use it.

Code:

<acronym title="Discription Of Website">http://www.mysite.com</acronym>

that will show with a dotted line under the link with the full url address, if you place your mouse over the url the description appears.

Now I could easily do that all again, but this time I don't wan't to see the full url address so I'll modify this so it shows ONLY the website name.

Code:

<acronym title="Description Of Website"><a href=http://www.mysite.com/</a></acronym>

the result is simple, It'll show the site name with description (on mouse over) instead of full url.

This is a HTML code I'm using so you could use Acronym tag where its appropriate, wether your coding your website in Notepad or whatever.

[doHTML]
<html>
<head>Header</head>
<body>
Here is the Acronym tag with <a href= </a >
<br>
<acronym title="Sonic Evolution, where all Sonic fans live"><a href=http://s1.zetaboards.com/Sonic_Evolution/</a></acronym>
<br>
Here is the Acronym tag without <a href= </a >
<br>
<acronym title="Sonic Evolution, where all Sonic fans live">http://s1.zetaboards.com/Sonic_Evolution/</acronym>
</body>
</html>
[/doHTML]

I hope I explained and demostrated everything clearly for your tiny little minds to understand.
