A fanfare by Leo Arnauld, a student of Maurice Ravel, best known to folks in the US as the theme to the Olympic games from '68 to '80, as well as to ABC's Wide World of Sports. Horn2 is optional but recommended--it doubles the lead horn for a better fanfare type sound. Flute is also optional and punches up the final repeat of the opening. Positioning: Front Horn1, (big space) drum, (big space) horn2; Middle - Horn3, Horn4 (position behind the gaps in the front row); Back - Clarinet1, Clarinet2, Flute, Clarinet3 Drum /play buglersdream 1 sync Flute (optional) /play buglersdream 51 sync Horn 1 /play buglersdream 61 sync Horn (opt brass double) /play buglersdream 62 sync Horn 2 /play buglersdream 63 sync Horn 3 /play buglersdream 64 sync Clarinet 1 /play buglersdream 71 sync Clarinet 2 /play buglersdream 72 sync Clarinet 3 /play buglersdream 73 sync Edited by Falibrand, Aug 1 2012, 06:42 AM.
