That's cool. On December 18th I'm supposed to show up at the nearest army recruiting office (being drafted), for IQ tests and physicals. During which I will have to try to convince the people there that I'm in fact quite intelligent, so that the army will pay for my college tuition (They do that). I hope to study Aero-space engineering. |

I would avoid army at all cost. xD;;; I swear every single group has contacted me in some way. National Guard, Army, Navy, Air Force, etc. xx; Rather annoying, if you ask me. But, I'm worried about paying for college myself, too. |

Good things come in small packages... So why is it that everyone else thinks I'm a bad thing. ;-; | |

I'm trying to avoid it too. But they don't really bother contacting us very much. They just send a letter saying "Show up in [insert nearest town with a recruitment centre] on [insert date] at [insert time]. IF you don't, you better well be able to provide a bloody good reason why you didn't, and even then you still have to notify us in advance. sincerely yours, the IDF." And the by far the easiest way of getting a complete dismissal from the army is by getting something called "profile 21", which means severe medical problem. And if you're not crippled, the easiest way of getting profile 21 is convincing an army psychologist you are suicidal. |

Sounds rough. Then again, I doubt the army is a light subject regardless of location. |

No, not really. The details of one's profile are classified. Pretty much the only thing it means is that you have to take an extra health test if you want a drivers license (Which is only a formality, and a way for the government to earn some extra money) |
