I love this sim by Slayer Sims. It's a foreign language site, so i think he's supposed to be a rock star. To me he just looks like he's had a seriously hard life, and finds his relief at the bottom of a bottle all day, everyday.

I'm IN LOVE  with these vintage vertical outdoor sign recolors by Witchboy. there are 12 of them, and they'll definitely add a nice touch of realism to a community lot.

Mystic Rain strikes again with this cute present clutter set. Click on "Meshes," then "Present Clutter" to get to the meshes. There's also a link to the Valentine's Day recolor of the set.

Marina Sims put out a new build set, way cool that they're updating in a major way like that for Sims 2. However it's Victorian themed which may not interest most of the folks here.

I noticed that the roof was really well-done and then I ran across another roof I liked at Sunni Designs as part of Merlotte's Bar & Grill.

Posted Image

Then I picked up two more that I liked in lots I was checking out and somehow this turned into a review of the custom roofs in my game.

The unique thing about the Merlotte's roof is that the underside is wooden instead of bland white or gray and it has a green edge. It's actually the same color as the neutral slate. The difference is just due to the lighting.

Merlotte's Bar & Grill

Speaking of undersides, if you ever looked at my lots, you know I use Phaenoh's Default Replacement Roof Trim which changes the Maxis default grey edges and undersides to white. This only affects custom roofs that use the Maxis default so CC roofs that have their own trim like Merlotte's or Frillen's Asphalt are not affected.

Here are some more CC roofs from my game with some Maxis Roofs for comparison:
