Thought I would share these for awhile before I finish cleaning out my folders. These are the background pics from Sterling's office from the contest. Why I had to have a 'before' lot in order to get started I don't know but I had fun playing with my grungy stuff.

Hear-hear, Mocha! Not that I don't love your high-falootin' lots too - but I've lost my heart to grunge lately. :giggle:

Ahhh, some seriously terrific lots - you're all inspiring me and I must find time to build some of my own again.

Gorgeously grungy, bubbajoe - just how I like them - and with loads of attention to detail like the boarded windows and strategically-placed junk! :D

fran, i'd love to see some your lots too. ;;)

Couldn't quite decide where to put this, not in finds because I don't plan to keep it in my game. For a second there, I thought I wasn't going to get it out of the lot bin. I just wanted you to see this because Ermelind often doesn't include pics when she updates at BPS.

Check this out:

I actually had to break down and register at Patchwork Sims to get my hands on this. I took my own pics to show it off a little better. This aircraft museum is on a 6x5 lot, the top is one gigantic mesh with a space for the 2nd story doors, and the large aircraft is another huge mesh. And you thought the pirate ship was big!

So take that, everyone who is out of ideas for Sims2. There's also some real nice smaller pieces in there, good for community lots.

Ermelind's personal site, Sims2Collage, doesn't require registration and is FSF. On Patchwork she is actually offering a meshing class in October, but I think the language barrier would end up being a problem.

Hope I was able to blow your mind a little.

Love the colors and decor you used. It has a very relaxing, calm and airy feel. Great job

Don't know if I'm allowed to comment since I have a vested interest :D , really like the sub-continent flavor sprinkled throughout. WCIF that closet system?

Bubba it's from SimGedohn's site - The Noblesse Bedroom set, it is free

ETA: I have really got into the Beatles recently and I found that John Lennon pic somewhere on my sim travels, so with Jonesi's recolour of Jope's wall sticker I took the All You Need Is Love and stuck in the study/office area as that a musical area. And being that the Beatles have realised their entire collection and the fact I am from the UK I decided to put a bit of my british culture in for good mesture, and I put zen in the spa area cos I am into massage and relaxing, I have a Buddha head in my room and it just chills me out! :)
