One of my favorite parts of the Makin' Magic EP for The Sims 1 was the ability to collect different ingredients to use in spells. The Sims 2 Apartment Life Magic elements, while fun, in no way fulfilled my desire for a more challenging experience. In Makin' Magic you had to actually go around and perform to get Magic Coins, which while tedious, i really enjoyed, as it felt like a different element of the game in which i wasn't used to. I wish the magic system in AL was more like that in Makin Magic then what it turned out to be, which was still fun, but not nearly as fun as the TS1 Magic system was.
