This is a very basic Tutorial! The best way for you to take great pictures, is to simply play with your paint program and the Sims 2. For this Tutorial you will need: ** The or 3** A Photo-Editing Software **Lot's of Patience! I use the The Gimp I like it, it's free, and pretty easy to use. But if you use something else, that's fine too! This tutorial is pretty basic, so you shouldn't have any problems making it work with whatever program you use. *Disclaimer! This tutorial, as I said, is very basic! So if you all ready know how to take great pictures, then that's great! But this is mainly for those of us who are just starting out. And if I've forgotten something, let me know, but bear in mind, everyone takes pictures their own way. this is simply mine! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LINKS Weekly Finds: Storytelling This is pretty much all you'll need! This one link is your key to alot of great stuff that will enhance your pictures. The white backdrop I used for LeAndara's picture is one of the links near the bottom of the page. The second page contain's the OMSP's I use, camera hacks (GunMod's is the best!), and tons of Poseboxes. Just keep following the page links at the bottom until you get to the end! Here's one more link. If you have Seasons, this is very crucial to your pictures. Sim Wardrobe go to Sims2 / Objects / Other Objects / seasons and Weather Controller It's the little Green Ming Vase, and with it you can control the weather! When I am taking pictures, I turn the weather off unless it's needed for a picture. I also set it to summer for the best lighting. FYI - There's alot of links to the Booty site on the above pages, but their links are dead! So here is the working link to the site: PaysitesMustBeDestroyed To find the items on the new link, go to ts2 and it will open up with a list of sites. Find the site of the original download, click it, and it will take you to the actual downloads. I am including a Downloadable file for those of you who would like it! All the images are in PNG format, and the word file is RTF, so they should open with whatever Computer you have! Thanks, K'. This is very informative, even for experienced simmers. Not precisely the method/tools I use, but the tips and tricks mentioned here apply to everyone. Well done. |
