Ewan stared at his plat of zech he had never felt so alone all of his friends were down on the planet and anyone who was left avoided him like the plague. how he longed to be back on dragonia to feel the desert winds blow across his face , the smell of the under ground city's and some actual zech instead of this replicated drivel. many in the fedaration considered dragonia and it people were backwards having only discovery the warp engine 7 years ago. another thought was what his father was up to why had he changed so mush and attack a federation aid hospital? and were was this federation team anyway??? OOC: Gimzod is it the meaning that commander Mika laren and commander Sorvik are joining this JP? Maybe you should tag some people in the OOC thread (e.g. Motom79, DataLore, NixNivis, ...). Sorry if I stock my nose where it didn't belong but I was just wondering.

OOC: No problem *Main Engineering* Mika Laren entered main engineering, the Strangelove was running with a skeleton crew most of the senior staff were on the surface but she was told that chief engineer was still aboard, a Vulcan named Sorvik. She had met him once at an engineering congress like most Vulcans he was brilliant with a stiff upper lip. But it seemed to her that this man didn't have his crew under control, she would have never allowed any of them going on shore leave as long they hadn't found a solution to their 'bug' problem. She noticed a blond engineer working at the flow regulator. Laren: Lieutenant, where can I find Lieutenant Commander Sorvik? Svein: He's in his office, commander. Laren: Thank you *taps combadge* =A= Crewman O'Connor have you found the Dragonian Ensign yet? I'll need him to be present at the meeting with commander Sorvik =A= TAG DataLore, Gimzod |

Sorvik was sitting behind his desk, reading though his duty logs, when a Bajoran woman entered the office. He tapped the pause button to halt the rolling display and looked up at her. She was thin, with brown hair that feathered softly off her face and hazelnut colored eyes. Sorvik: Lt. Commander Mika, I presume? **OOC - I was pretty busy with college, so didn't get to participate in the last mission as much. Could you summarize briefly about the Bug problem.  Thanks!

OOC: DataLore I send you a pm about the situation hope it was helpful. Oh and please feel free to disagree with Laren, she lacks people skills and treats people as tools. Laren: Yes I need you to transfer all data of the Dragonian bugs to my team, they will be better equipped to handle this. Also we need to speak ensign Ewan Dragon, I assume you and your crew have already begun debriefing him. *gives him a disapproving look* you did debrief him or is shore leave more important to this crew than doing their work. In typical Vulcan fashion, Sorvik listened to her rant without emotion or response. He waited until her final word before replying. Sorvik: Lt. Cmdr. Mika, logic dictates that while you have been assigned to this dilemma, you are not the officer in charge. I am. While your knowledge and skills are exemplory, you are here to assist me in my efforts to, for lack of a better term, 'de-bug' the U.S.S. Strangelove. *standing now* That being said, you will keep me apprised of all information and discoveries, and refrain from any action until it has been approved by me. As to Ensign Dragon, he is on his way here now, where he will be available for you and your team to question him. I've included my notes, as well as his debriefing, in the information packet that was sent to you all ready. *he paused again, eyeing her dispassionately, as her face grew red with anger. Emotional females were difficult to deal with* If you will submit your request for transferral of my Engineers, I will approve the ones that are not required elsewhere. As you well know, maintaining a ship this large requires a careful balance of qualified crewmen, and it is not logical for a complete stranger to assume the authority to simply choose, at will, whoever strikes her fancy. As to the office, I've taken the liberty of preparing the cubicle next to mine, as your stay here on the Strangelove will be brief, and I require my office at all times. It is not an option. *lifting an eyebrow, he gestured toward the door to his office* If you'll follow me. Without waiting for a reply, Sorvik strode past her through the doorway. **OOC - how's that?  Sorvik can roll with the best of them! |

Mika Laren was seething with anger, she wasn't used that engineers flat-out refused her requests. Of course most of her team feared her or knew that arguing with her was a lesson in futility, Mika Laren was somebody who always thought her way was the right way. She was unable to compromise and most of the time she got her way because she was a brilliant bio-engineer and people revered her but Sorvik being a Vulcan clearly wasn't impressed. She felt herself turning red, who does this man think he is talking to, she was Mika Laren the Federation's expert on biotechnology. Nobody treated her this way and certainly not this misguided tinkerer. Following him out of his office she decided to give him a piece of her mind. Laren: Commander this is unacceptable! I will take this up with the captain and the first officer ... Oh O'Connor *suddenly her demeanor changed, friendly* And you must be ensign Dragon, what an honor to meet you. OOC: She deeply respects Dragonian culture so to Ewan Dragon she'll be a friend to the rest a monster. |

Ewan mind broke here was someone who did't hate him at first sight , had he just died and gone to paradise because if it was it was not what he expected. Ewan: thank you and you must be Laren may i just say you learned a lot from the ship holly allowed to be studied. OOC:holly is very protective of her children and she doesn't trust many people. |
