Be creative.Think of Shinobi no Tachi as an alternate naruto universe.
Below are the basic rules of character creation.

- Don't describe any particular naruto character to be your own.

- Create your own Jutsu, or choose from our extensive Jutsu Archives.

- Only approved clans may be used for character creation. (Approved characters may be found here: )

- Weapons, traits, or items that are too similar to any particular character, or characters, will not be approved.

- Canon Kekkei Genkai are banned. For example, no Sharingan or Rinnegan.

- Try not to model your characters personality around a canon character. If you do, un-intentionally, wind up with a canon similar personality, try to mask it at least. (Sasuke- Anti-social and angry)

- You can however, try to remake a character from another anime series, so long as they carry no direct reference aside from physical appearance and personality.

- Do not overload your inventory. Although it is only words, it is meant to be a realistic mind game in which the weight of everything you carry is taken into consideration.

- No items that enhance attributes are allowed, unless awarded.

- Only ten explosive items may be carried in your inventory unless otherwise stated.

- You may create a character that is Genin-Jounin rank upon registration, or a C-A rank missing nin.

Stats

* To each attribute, you must distribute at least one point. The reason for this is simple. Every shinobi you can think of, has at least a LITTLE knowledge of all the stats.

For example: You cannot take a 0 in Genjutsu because your character does not use it. What would happen if faced by a genjutsu user, you would be helpless, and the situation would turn into a mod-fest.

The possible number of points at registration for a character is relative to their rank.
Below, are the points alotted for each rank at sign-up. Attribute points may be earned through training.

Genin---------------------135 (Average:15) Starting Max: 30
Chuunin------------------225 (Average:25) Starting Max: 45
Special Jounin-----------290 (Average:30) Starting Max: 45
Jounin--------------------355 (Average:35) Starting Max: 50
D-ranked Missing-nin---135 (Average:15) Starting Max: 30
C-ranked Missing-nin---225 (Average:25) Starting Max: 45
B-ranked Missing-nin---290 (Average:30) Starting Max: 45
A-ranked Missing-nin---355 (Average:35) Starting Max: 50

The averages above are not what you have to post for your skill in that attribute.
If you were to post the average, you would have a perfectly balanced shinobi, but that is not always ideal when considering the different specialties, and your preferred fighting style.

However, the larger numbers before the averages, are your max number of points to distribute throughout your attributes. Your starting max, is how many points you can put towards any one attribute during registration. Your stats can be further advanced through rp, after character approval.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jutsu

Rank Jutsu | Allowed At Registration | Jutsu Ranks

Genin---------------------------8 E-D, 2 C-rank
Chuunin-----------------------13 E-C, 2 B-rank
Special Jounin----------------15 E-C, 3 B-rank
Jounin-------------------------18 E-B, 4 A-rank
D-ranked Missing Ninja------13 E-D, 2 C-rank
C-ranked Missing Ninja------15 E-C, 2 B-rank
A-ranked Missing Ninja------18 E-C, 3 B-rank
A-ranked Missing Ninja------21 E-B, 4 A-rank

Any number of jutsu may be earned through rp, but each character will start with a set amount of jutsu that are relative to your rank and stats in each attribute. The jutsu ranks section tells you what jutsu ranks you can access from your Shinobi rank. Each rank can access a set number of certain ranked jutsu.

For example:

Genin may have 8 Jutsu total, as many of them as they wish can be E-D rank, but they can only use 2 C-rank jutsu.
