These are the rules of our forum, such rules will be strictly enforced. The breaking of these rules can bring punishment anywhere from a warning to a permanant ban.

Once you register with this forum, you are entering a binding contract in which you must abide by the rules explicitly explained in this Guide. The consequenses of not following these rules are as follows, but not limited to: temporary ban, permanent ban, or some other such punishment determined by the staff.

Respect others. It's the golden rule of life: treat others the way you want to be treated. Do not insult other members, and especially don't insult any of the staff. If one follows this rule, they will find themselves engulfed in a happy enviorment. If not, well, I personally don't want to be there to see it.

2. Respect the Administration's decisions. Now, don't be fooled by the wording. The Administration includes the moderators as well. To be quite plain on this rule, if we say something, you do it. Now, this may be considered a bit harsh, but it's a truth. We are in charge of the site, thus you must abide by our mandate.

3. Be patient. One of the many annoyances that occur when being a member of the staff is constant berating on the member's parts to approve things, specifically applications and Jutsu. These proddings occur in Private Messages and the Chat Box. After you post your application, please wait a standard 72 hours before Private Messaging a Moderator. After another 24 hours have passed without checking, Private Message an Administrator. Please remember that the members of the Administration has a life too.

4. Be aware. Some people don't understand the fact that there's an edit button in the top right corner of the post you make. This allows you to change your post, without having to double post. Please don't be the one that gets their post deleted just becuase you posted twice in a row. This rule applies very heavily in RP; however, in the Spam section, we are a little more lenient.

5. No Multi-Accounting. For every one person, there is one account. The best way to detect that this is false is by checking a member's IP Address. Yes, folks, we can do that. There's a nifty way the staff can look in on things like that, so don't convince yourself you won't get caught, because you will. As for the fact that you may have other people in your household using the same computer as you, please Private Message an Administrator and they will make note that there's more than one person using a specified IP.

6. Be considerate. Do not get haughty when you engage in conversations about politics/religion/sexual tendencies or any other subject like those, for you will get punished. We're all friends on this forum, whether you like it or not. Racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and other such things aren't encouraged and will not be tolerated. If you cannot overcome these tendencies, we advise you now to leave.

7. Do your absolute best. Here on Shinobi Hunters, we require that you preform at your best during RPing, especially because there is a 100 word count minimum. This means that you must post at least 100 [one-hundred] words in each in RP post you make. This also includes, but is not limited to, spelling, grammar and punctuation. Please refrain from using abbreviations such as the following: "How r u? W8. I need 2 tell u sumthin." The approved way is: "How are you? Wait. I need to tell you something."

8. Look before you leap. Make sure you're posting where you're supposed to. Don't post in any topics labeled with Private, unless you're invited. Don't post in any applications unless they are yours.

9. Advertisement. Use the appropriate template and rules in the Advertisement section. Failure to do so will have your advertisement deleted. Please refrain from saying things like: "Hey, come to NWOTN, they're awesome, you should totally join!" in the Chatbox and anywhere in RP. Only do so in the appropriate section. You may however say, if someone asks you where you've been: "Oh, I've been on NWOTN." If they ask, Private Message them the link.

10. This forum is PG-13. This means anything above minimal swearing, partial nudity, and suggestive themes and speech will be deleted forthwith. Please do not let the Administration catch you breaking this rule, for the consequences will be severe.

11. No Godmoding. An example of this would be: Player A: Character A throws a punch at Character B. Player B: Character B dodges the attack, grabs Character A and throws him out of a stained glass window. Character A flies at Character B, who warps behind him and slashes Character A in the back. The one in italics is a form of Godmoding. They have put themselves in an unrealistic enviorment where they dodge any attack, and always assume their attacks hit. Subsequently, this also implies that the Godmoder is actually saying that their hits are landing, without any reaction on the other character's part.
