{Dim Mak} The style of Dim Mak is a grappling-based martial arts practiced for sport by the Dark Elves. The basis of the entire style is to throw an enemy off balance and force the shoulders of the enemy to hit the ground, resulting in a loss. They accomplish this with a complex and technical combination of grabs, transitions, and finishing moves in the form of throws. Even though it remains a ceremonial sport, it does have some practical applications in hand to hand combat. The Style of Dim Mak is used for the ceremony of the same name. It is a community wide event where two males get into the ring together to settle disputes of important matters like woman, property, and family. A common circumstance which calls for it a Dim Mak is when two males both vie for the same female. They get together in a ring of about 6 feet in diameter. A full contact fight occurs under the watchful eyes of the village. They hold their punches and instead hope to throw the other person to the ground using their great strength and cunning. Once someone's back hits the floor the match is called, and the opposite is the victor. To the victor comes the spoils. Dim Mak is based upon two different modes which is Shushi for attacking and Tashi for defending. Shushi is using a variety of techniques to grip a target then throw them to the ground. They focus on two different attack zones which is Shu, grabbing the torso, and Shi, the legs and thighs. Tashi is using a set of counterattacks and throws to offset the attacks of Shushi. They keep their feet firmly planted on the ground and use the strength and weight of their attacks against them. The Dim Mak; Shushi ### abilities do not stack with each other. {Discipline Tree} .::E-Rank::. - Dim Mak; Shushi Amateur The style of Dim Mak is a largely ceremonial style of combat used by the Dark Elves to settle disputes in a civil fashion. The Dark Elf quickly gets chest to chest with the target and hooks their arms underneath the targets armpits. They can either grab onto the chest from that position or grip their hands behind the targets back. Either way they use their upper body strength to lift the target several inches off the ground and flip them onto their back to either the left or right. Once the target is lifted off the ground the match is pretty much finished because the throw combines the weight of the target and the strength of the user together to force them to the ground. | Stamina Cost: 6 | Physical Attack+6 | C-Rank | XP Cost: 6 | .::B-Rank::. - Dim Mak; Shushi Master The style of Dim Mak is a largely ceremonial style of combat used by the Dark Elves to settle disputes in a civil fashion.
