You know Square. Anything popular gets milked for as long as they can.

That being said, I found an interesting article on Siliconera.

I for one think the game wrapped itself up pretty nicely and that it doesn't need one, but if SE were to make one anyway, what would you want from it?

Sigh, I don't really want either... All my favourite series seem to get ruined by sequels Pirates of the Caribbean 4, whyyyyyyy????

I guess if they make one, I'd like to see some fresh psychs from new people. If you guys remember the DA contest there were a lot of really cool ideas and I'm sure they could incorporate awesome new battle techniques smoothly.

Some new types of noise would be cool. It would also be cool to find out what kind of noise the main characters would be like we did with Rhyme and the bosses. I swear Josh would be a peacock

.... and if it's not revealed that Neku became conductor at some point... I will be extremely disappoint.

I've never been keen on the idea of a TWEWY sequel because it was always intended to be a standalone game. The story of Neku and his friends is essentially complete, and there's no room to expand the story without making it feel like a copout.

However, the 3DS is changing my point of view. Part of what made TWEWY such a great game was how it took advantage of all of the features of the DS. A TWEWY sequel tailored to the new features of the 3DS is a really exciting prospect; I think that a sequel on the 3DS would have a lot of potential.

Honestly, I would hate to see a TWEWY sequel myself. Well, a direct sequel anyway. The story was just worked out to perfectly to really add new plots and characters to it.

If they want to reuse the battle system with tweaks and brand New story/characters and possibly 3DS uses, I would love it. Also, some kind of online co-op or something would be nice.

The only thing I'd want to see story wise is a prequel (Josh's rise to Composerdom? Story of the Reapers?) or a new setting from scratch. New city, new Game, new rules, new players.

Online co-op would be neat. I know one of TWEWY's gimmicks is the multitasking of the battle system, but I still prefer sitting next to a friend while one of us handles the stylus and the other gets the D-pad.
Or maybe some other system I can't even think of.

Multiplayer would be awesome actually. I always wanted to duke it out with my friends to see which one of us was the best at utilizing the psychs~

The time I've been waiting for has come. Nomura has finally said it. It's near!!
Although I wouldn't it to be any different from the first one, and I wouldn't like it to have any of the other characters, TWEWY could become like Final Fantasy, with a lot of games which aren't by any means related one to another. So we'd have TWEWY, TWEWY II, TWEWY III, TWEWY Tactics (this one would actually suck) and I think it would become an awesome saga, like FF, because, even if it has those sord fights, guns and blocked bullets, etc etc, TWEWY psychs are far more awesome than FF spells, and that TWEWY, if it had more titles, would become as famous (or even more) as Final Fantasy.
I'm just dreaming awake, but I assure you it's an awesome dream <3
The only thing I would ask for in the multiplayer, is wifi. But if it had co-op or 1vs1 battles, it would be far better. Again, I think I'm dreaming awake.

And, anybody knows what Square-Enix is working on right now? They haven't announced anything, have they?

Wait, That can be done? Wouldn't that make it hard to play with the tight playarea?

Wow, I would have never thought of doing that even if I had friend who likes TWEWY. That sounds like fun, I would love to try it someday.

I would safe my money only for buying an N3DS so that I can play TWEWY: The Reapers' Stories/…
So I would totally love a TWEWY sequel, even if it was the story about Neku being conducter/whatever.
Co-op mode would be the BEST thing there could be added to the battle system, I think, but only if the second player plays the top screen (With one game cartridge: normal partner psychs like "throwing" Mr Mew, with two: using your own pins).
There also could be more characters you are able to play. Don't know if it would fit the game, maybe not.

If it's a friend that doesn't mind invasion of personal space, then you're good. Otherwise, it might be a bit awkward, yes. But as long as the button masher is on the opposite side of the stylus user's dominant hand, you shouldn't have issues.

It makes getting fusion stars with Beat a lot easier. xD
