Lord Sho exploits image exploitability to the fullest extent.
After seeing so many people doing TWEWY fanart, I've decided to do something as well.
I lack drawing skills, and I'm new to Photoshop, so yeah, my arts may be kinda wimpy and most of them may be composed of official art edits or some random ideas made into image using mugshots, but anyways enjoy my work.

Order of art based on time of release.

((already posted, Marsh. Enjoy the increasingly long Beat thread :) ))

Marsh's idea of a Daisukenojo Bito Pro Skater gave me some more ideas for digital art. Just gimme more time please, gotta finish this week's midterms.

:superlol: Bribe: Success. Now I must bribe everyone else on the forum to have meaningful character and plot discussions.

I love the first one! It's instant badass :D I envy your mad Photoshop skillz.

I still can't believe that you can get away with using TWEWY stuff in school projects >_> Joshua looks cool but I think it could be touched up more.

New stuff posted... just click the thumbnails to see the full sized signatures, only 400x150 pixels!

Thanks Marsh :$ I just felt my way around the photoshop screen, experimented with effects and different levels of opacity and stuff, etc. Almost no thought process. (after saying that, I feel dumb) Basically, everyone can do it if they have a lot of time and patience.

Most of the tricks I used on the first pic were found on the internet, just type "Matrix background effect photoshop tutorial" on any search engine and look around. I only gave some neon glow to the original image and played with opacity.

About the school projects, TWEWY has nothing to do with it except for the banner. Well, most people don't know about TWEWY where I live now, so no problem B-)

Thanks everyone... Now I feel like I'm out of this "Photoshop Skill Inferiority Complex".

O yeah, I needed to ask something: Do you know where I can get the fonts from the following games' logos?
1. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (any series would do)
2. WiiFit
3. The World Ends with You (Don't point me to the Street Soul Font, I already have that one and have used it extensively)

If you find more game fonts, especially the new ones, please point it out to me. I have random ideas cooked up involving TWEWY invading other games. Credit to Marsh for the first idea of Daisukenojo Bito's Pro Skater.

Thanks Butz, but I need the font for the "fit" text. Maybe I'll just try to alter some stuff, but it's quite hard to do. Changing it into WiiSit is quite easy though, I've seen a guy do that and it turned out awesome, following Something Awful's theme of that week, Games Made Less Fun.

Thanks though, I'll see how far can I go with this only resource.

The 'fit' in WiiFit is just the Wii font in italics, isn't it? Googling 'wii font' got me one called Continuum and one called Horatio Light.

Continuum | Continuum light | Continuum bold
Horatio Light

The TWEWY boxart font isn't an actual font, so you won't be able to download it anywhere. You'll just have to work from the existing art.

Google yielded no specific Tony Hawk fonts, but it's a relatively simple one that probably has a dozen look-alikes. The best I found after 5 minutes of browsing was Accidental Presidency, but I wasn't looking too hard. If worse comes to worst, the only letters in Daisukenojo Bito's Pro Skater that can't be ripped from the original title are B, D, I, J, and U, so you could mix around the original letters and fill in the blanks with a look-alike font.

Accidental Presidency ftw. Daisukenojo Pro Skater coming up!

Now, if only I could fully imitate the metal gradient effect... Wait a bit more people... Gotta look at more THPS boxarts. Oh, where can I look for Beat's front look (not mugshot, it's 45 degrees), like when he creates the pact with Neku or when he does fusion lv2?

Oh, and also the circle behind the THPS text. I need it.

If THPS can't be done, then I have another alternative. Daisukenojo Bito's Underground (a.k.a. DeBUG :wut: ) The fonts and the effects seem to be easier, but I need raw images and stuff.

I don't think that there's an official art of Beat's pact, but there are some sparse screencaps here of his fusions and his badass Rhyme-rescue scene from the intro that can be vectored. I was planning on screencapping the full game myself, but that will take a long while, and that's only if I can get it working. But if you can wait...

And there's no two ways about it; the circle behind the THPS title will have to be ripped from the existing boxart. It'll probably take a lot of patience to make Daisukenojo Bito's Pro Skater :-/

Simple Plan's "I Can Wait Forever"

I can wait/I can wait forever...

I can wait.

If the THPS games can't be done, then maybe we can use Tony Hawk's Motion for the DS. It has the same font as the Birdhouse logo, but I don't have it. Can someone point me to the font?

The screencap link Marsh gave me doesn't have the Beat pact image... If I had that, I could really make a Daisukenojo Bito Shibuya Wasteland or Daisukenojo Bito Project 8 (or something similar)

New image posted, for viewing while waiting for fonts and inspiration from other video game boxarts. Here's a blast from the past.

I can wait.
That's good, because I started capping tonight and I've discovered that things are going to go VERY slowly. I'm using a program called AnimGet, which continually takes screenshots of the active window on your desktop. The emulator I'm using, iDeaS (the only one TWEWY will run in), unfortunately places the top screen and bottom screen in different windows, so I have to go through everything twice so I can cap both screens. Then I have to connect the two separate images in Photoshop to create the full screenshots. Edit: I've discovered the screencasting magic of CamStudio, so that will make things go a bit faster. Hopefully it won't kill the image quality.

It'll be tedious and it will take a long time, but I promise you it will be done.
