Non-Pokemon Related RPs Only Yah, we're just clearing this rule. Hence, "GENERAL RPs" meaning, all RPs that will be posted and started here should be non-pokemon related. Only start your RP if you have enough members at the SU Boards Before this boards could get flooded by RPs, make sure that your RP actually HAS members who joined in your SU Thread. DO NOT post your SUs on the SU Boards, misplacing such threads will be deleted. Repeat such mistakes and you'll be more likely to receive a warning. If you think you have enough members that joined you, you can now start your RP. Of course, you can always leave your SU Thread open for newcomers who want to join. But if not, just clear it out in the first post. Near-to-perfection Grammar/Spelling/Punctuations All posts are expected to have near-to-perfection grammar, spelling and punctuations so that it could be easily understood by other members that is in the RP as well. So start practicing your English-speaking skills and put them to the test! We wouldn't ban or warn peeps who is a bit poor in grammar, spelling or punctuation but it would really be better if you know how to use the English language properly so that (as mentioned above) it can be easily understood by members who is also participating in the same RP. Posting Lengths/Time We can be excited sometimes, no? And sometimes, our excitement can lead us being too much hyper in a day. If someone just posted in a RP you've joined, you'll most likely post another one afterwards. We won't ban or disallow this kinds of things but we are just warning you to do it in a minimum. Some people might not catch up to the story of your RP and often causes the death of the RP (we don't want that now do we?). So please try to think about your posts if you want to post again or maybe later. Minimun Length Per Post We're keeping RP IC posts having 4 sentences being the MINIMUM. With this rule up, we can avoid (hopefully) posts that aren't that much detailed. Of course we don't want little posts and more importantly we don't want novel-like posts. So try to improve your skills and get your RP Skills in posting in between little and novel-like. OOC Posts As said in the "How to Role-play" thread, we don't allow these posts but it somehow negates the RP: Discussion boards. So if you plan to OOC Post, make sure there is an IC Post afterwards. If you will only post an OOC Post at an RP, it will most likely be considered a spam and will be deleted and the one who posted it may receive a warning. If you would like to make an OOC Post WITHOUT the IC Post, it would be better to post it in the Discussion Boards or PM the one you are telling the message to. No Godmodding This goes for the RP Starters as well. To those who don't know what godmodding is, it is a character who is like a god; super strong, indestructible, that kinds of stuff. We are banning characters like: "I will just one laser and its BOOM, bye-bye-birdies!". It is just plain stupid and unrealistic in having such kinds of characters flooding the RP Boards like that. Emoticons = BANNED Using emoticons to show your character's expression is simply unfair. Practice your English skills by using correct adjectives, adverbs and etc to describe your character's expression in your post. |
