10. Kid Buu - Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
He's crazy hard. Crazy powerful. Just like in the show. You'll have to try more than once on this pink creation of evil. First of all, he has way more health bars than you, and he is set as a really strong computer. You'll have to be just as agile and tricky as him, otherwise you can go a whole fight without even touching Buu. Once you button mash your way through the fight, you'll be rewarded with Goku's super finishing attack seen in the anime; Goku jumps up, creates a GINORMOUS spirit bomb, and throws it down at his enemy. He then goes Super Saiyan and Kamehamehas the spirit bomb so that it explodes before the opponent can throw it back.

9. Verdugo - Resident Evil 4
Scariest moment in my history of gaming. This thing begins creeping on you as the chapter progresses, the whole time viewing your movements in first person, so you don't actually get to see its appearance. Leon opens a door and walks through into a very dark room, flickering lights; a scene from a horror movie. Then, you hear a loud bang from behind where you closed the door. When you walk back to the door there are dents, but nothing else to be found. As you search through this new area, something begins attacking you from above and below, so Leon has to dodge attacks as he scopes out the hallway. Leon enters the room to turn on the power to elevator and heads back out toward the elevator, but suddenly Verdugo drops from the sealing. And just your luck, Verdugo is Spanish for executioner! Imagine a fusion of Alien and Predator from the movies; that is what Verdugo looks like. This monster is about eight feet tall, red eyes, insect appearance, and a long tail with a sharpened end. Now, here is Leon, a human with some guns, against this speedy monster that wants to kill you. Running is the only option here unless you have the rocket launcher (but the first play-through, you probably don't have enough money to buy one, or even want to pay that much for a one-time-use weapon). Basically you are locked in this room for a few minutes with this monster after you. Now when you run, it runs too, and it makes such a creepy sound when it runs. Then you turn around and it's gone, only about to stab you with its tail while it hangs on the ceiling. This boss fight definitely puts a lot of pressure on the player as you're constantly in fear, trying to to stay alive so that you can use a simple elevator to escape.

8. Red - Pokémon Silver/Gold
Red, a.k.a. Ash lol. He has six pokemon (finally, a trainer with six!) levels 70-80. He has his trusty Pikachu go first. Now don't take it lightly, this is his highest level pokemon in his party. Then he'll eventually send out the three starters of the the first generation, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. They can be quite a challenge as well. Probably the hardest of all is his Snorlax, which of course, has crazy high defense and HP, and is equipped with the move rest. You most likely won't take it out in one hit no matter what attack you use. Then he randomly has an Espeon (I never saw that in the show). It is decent, but definitely the weakest of the party, so don't worry too much with this one. It does know a few good moves, and its psychic does quite a big of damage. All in all, this is a very memorable fight. Red is very serious, says nothing at all, and vanishes after the battle. Just a plain cool way to go...

7. Event 51 - Super Smash Bros. Melee
Don't even get me started on how many hard this is. I've successfully done it three times. I've tried probably over 100 times. Here is how the event works: first you choose whichever character to use. You have only three lives. You are going against Ganondorf, Mewtwo, and most importantly, Giga Bowser, all of which are level nine and have three lives each. It sounds practically impossible. You vs. three of the strongest characters of the game, three lives each, and all level 9. It just seems like too much. Really, the only way to win is constantly moving and luck. Giga Bowser can basically hit you at all times because he takes up half of the stage, and his little minions are constantly all over you. For example, Ganondorf; he will down + A you all the time. Yes, I'm talking about the meteor smash that hurts feelings. This fight is probably the hardest thing I've ever experienced in any game I've played, which is a major reason why I love this fight.

6. Bowser 3 - Super Mario 64
Bowser is a very memorable character from the Mario world. You'd always find him at the end of a chapter. Fighting Bowser in full 3-D is a little different this time. When I was younger, I found the final fight with Bowser to very hard, but very rewarding after feeling such accomplishment by rescuing the Mushroom Kingdom and Princess Peach. Bowser is serious this time. He isn't a pushover like he was in the two fights before. He moves faster, is harder to grab, shoots fire farther, and has this terrible scatter fire that covers the entire stage. Not to mention after throwing him twice, the stage breaks into the shape of a star. It is very hard to get around Bowser at this point. When you finally launch Bowser at the last bomb, the fight is over and Mario flies all over the place. Very cool. The credits are very cool too as it shows a montage of the highlights of each world visited. Talk about nostalgic.

5. Dark Samus/Aurora Unit 313 - Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
This battle has three parts; first, Dark Samus, Aurora Unit 313, and Aurora Unit 313 Head. If you played Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, you remember fighting Dark Samus multiple times, usually just having more stamina and a few new attacks. In this battle though, Dark Samus will surprise you if you were expecting the same battle. It was exciting to finally fight Dark Samus for the final time, and my high hopes were met during the final fight. Dark Samus does simple attacks at first, but will split into two and three Dark Samus's after her health bar has reached half. After defeating her, she will summon Aurora Unit 313 and the two will fuse together. 313 becomes quite a challenge. There are only brief moments when you are able to stun it. Then, even after that, you will have a short opportunity to actually damage it. It will eventually break off its head unit. Now, at this point, I was a little worried looking at my corruption meter. It was almost full, meaning death was near. I knew I had to quickly dispatch the head. This did not happen on the first try though, as the head appears to be the strongest part of the final fight. This was definitely a great way to finish off the game and the series.

4. Dracula & Death - Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
It was expected that Dracula would be the final boss in this Castlevania game, but I don't think anyone expected Death to join him. Throughout the game, you can alternate between two characters at anytime, so the two-on-two is a fitting final boss. Awesome music begins to play when the battle starts. Dracula begins with his classic moves while Death flies around swinging his scythe. The two have their own joint attacks that can be an instant kill if not avoided. When damaged enough, the two will join and Dracula will take on his final, classic monster form, a nice tribute to past games. His new attacks deal crazy amounts of damage, and are almost impossible to dodge. This battle is one of great intensity and took me multiple tries.

3. Sephiroth - Kingdom Hearts II
Sephiroth. The other famous Final Fantasy icon, besides Cloud Strife. Sora vs. Sephiroth. Yeah, it's hard. It took me eight tries, and then I beat him because I looked up a strategy guide online. That's how hard. The battle is very awesome though. There are a few different parts to it, which constantly mixes things up. Sephiroth has his famous One-Winged Angel theme playing in the background while Sora hacks away at his seemingly infinite health bars. It gets to a point when Sephiroth unleashes his signature move. He simply says, "descend darkness angel" and Sora's health and magic drop to 1. That means you can't use cure to save you this time. Better hope that you equipped some elixirs!

2. Final Hazard - Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
The climax of this game was building and building. It got to a point where I didn't think it would end, which was a good thing, of course! In the real ending of the game, Sonic and Shadow enter their super forms with the chaos emeralds, a true Super Saiyan moment for DBZ fans, lol. It was very awesome to see them transform, but then, "Oh, I get to play as them!?" I was practically crying from excitement. You take turns fighting the final boss as it gets closer to crashing into Earth. As Sonic and Shadow, you fly aroudn dodging defensive attacks from the enemy as you move in to attack the weakpoints. If you do it correctly, you can make it so you finish off the boss with Sonic after Shadow says, "Sonic, I can't go on... It is up to you now!" And then GHJBGDSUGKUYDAHS! You save the world!

1. Ganondorf - The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
The final battle with Ganondorf after defeating the puppet forms. Not only does one of the most epic songs of game history play, Ganondorf wields two swords, similar to his Ganon form from Ocarina of Time. At first, Ganondorf seems pretty easy, not dodging the light arrows Zelda fires at him, but he eventually catches on and knocks her out. Then it is just Link vs. Ganondorf. In this fight, the player has to think strategically unlike other boss battles of the game and series; Ganondorf is fast breaks through the player's defenses many times, and deals heavy damage. You'll want every heart container the game has to offer when going into this fight. Zelda will eventually wake back up, and the end for Ganondorf is near. Zelda fires her arrow at Link, Link deflects it toward Ganondorf, and Link initiates his final attack, a devastating parry attack to the forehead. I've enjoyed fighting this battle over and over without ever getting bored.

Well, I don't like to list things as better than each other, so here are the two that came to my mind when you asked me earlier. They're both from N64 games and seemed really difficult and scary when I played them as a little kid.

Bowser; Paper Mario [N64]

Great final boss to a great game. I had a habit back then of never finishing games, (I never beat Super Mario 64) and this was once of the first I ever beat. It was so long ago, I just remember bravely facing down the great villain, Kooper at my side, and proceeding to kick some serious Bowser tail.

And my other pick is, of course:

Andross; Star Fox 64 [N64]

I can remember like yesterday playing this game faithfully everyday, having a blast, finally getting to fight that crazed ape, was simply exhilarating. To be honest this was actually scary me, to the point where i asked my mom to sit in the room with me while I fought him. B-) It took me several tries, but I finally took him down, and escaped with my life. Little did I know I had only fought his first form! Just two years ago I was at C-lon's And with a little help from the interwebz, managed to finally fight his true form and end his reign of terror forever... Or something like that. B-) .

Glad I waited, this would have given me mad nightmares:

I was thinking of Andross too! And yeah, that brain form is STILL creepy, even as I look at him as a teen.
