Several epochs ago... before the time of Mortal man...

Four dark orbs traveled through the void around the dimensional grid chased by a white orb and a red orb. Through the deep darkness of the void, the four black energy balls turned violently and entered the Realm of Gold. Sunlight hit the four orbs and instantly the four giant balls of energy washed away to reveal a man with dark hair, a woman with blue skin, a tall woman in armor, and a petite man with a monkey tail. The four fell from the blue skies towards a giant mountain where they landed on their feet with devastating outcomes. The mountain side shook as rocks and boulders began to roll from above Rath, Thalia, Choco, and Alyrie.

Look out!

The blue skinned daughter of Lady Lyara and Lord Stephan pointed up at the avalanche of boulders which caused both Thalia and Cho-Cao to turn and face the in coming rocks. The heavily armored Thalia stepped forward on the steep slope and unsheathed her mighty sword. With a single swing, she sent a wave of crackling black magic out at the boulders; shattering them. However, now, it began to rain down shards of sharp rock. Everyone glared at Thalia which made her grit her teeth tightly at her mistake.

It was time for Cho-Cao to take his turn, and with his crossbow he aimed up at the sky and fired off a pink arrow. The energy arrow bursts open with a flash, and soon the in coming rain of sharp rocks turned into a rain of pink roses. The love monkey twirled a bit in the flower rain with a giddy chuckle as Thalia crossed her arms and grumbled. As the flowers fell everywhere, above them in the sky burst out the red fiery orb and the white orb made of light. As the two spheres of protective energy burst open it revealed Lady Mirana in her full dragon form. Her right arm was missing, but she wasn’t any less grand.

Rath’s sword in which he held onto now had fed from lady Mirana and in doing so, it almost killed her. Her own sister, Lady Yefernah had tore off Mirana’s arm to save her life because the Defiled Tenro would not release the dragon from its grasp. Beside Mirana in the skies was Lady Catherine. She was Rath’s sister and like him, she was a winglie. The only real difference between the two was she was still connected to the time stream, while Rath had his wings taken away from him long ago.

Mirana! I’ve spotted them down below!”

With those words, the great red dragon shifted her wings and flew above the mountain where she inhaled deeply. From a hundred feet above, she let loose a stream of fire that jetted down towards the group. At the same time, Lady Catherine removed a diamond scepter from her belt and placed it on her mouth. With a sharp whistle from behind her teeth, she sent down a wave of sound and magic that mixed with Lady Mirana’s fire. Together it formed a spiraling tornado of flames that crashed into the ground down the steep slope and began to travel up to the group.

”Argie-pookie! Watch out!”

As the Alyrie grabbed Rath’s arm, Cho-Cao jumped in front of Rath and fired off two blue arrows into the fire twister. With freezing magic, the love monkey tried to stop the tornado. He was successful somewhat as his arrows busted open and sent out their cold ripples. However, there was sound involved and the ice soon caused the sound to echo and explode. Concussive energy launched everywhere; knocking Rath, Alyrie, and Thalia back, and also sent the petite love monkey off the cliff.

Ahhhhhhhhh!

Being a wanted criminal was not easy. However the challenges that came from the lifestyle wasn't as frightening was one would think. Being chased constantly was something Rath found exhilarating to say the least. It was like a game of cat and mouse and also a test. Anyone keeping up with Rath would probably pose for a challenge in combat, something the man lived for. He lived for a fight and would do anything to test his limits.

Landing in the realm of gold, Rath was ready to move. However his arrival brought with it some collateral damage. Looking to his consorts to handle the mess, Rath wasn't exactly spurred into dealing with the dilemma himself. It wasn't until the arrival of Mirana and more importantly his sister, did Rath suddenly show interest in the situation. Clutching his tenro, Rath was prepared to put his blade against his sister's over glorified microphone. However his sister didn't want to waste anytime pooling her strength with Mirana's to create a more cumbersome attack. Feeling Alyrie tug on his arm, Rath was dragged aside while Cho Cao tried to deal with the assault. To Rath's disappointment, he was sent flying anyways because his consort couldn't live up to the job.

Unfortunately said consort was sent much further, going off of the cliff. Believing the monkey to still have some form of use to him, Rath unsheathed his sword and took off toward the cliff. Jumping off he allowed himself to plummet after the monkey. He may not have had his wings, but that didn't mean he couldn't do anything. Once he got a hold of his effeminate partner, Rath would stick his sword into the side of the mountain to slow down their descent.

The first thing Cho-Cao saw when his eyes finally open was Rath flying towards him. His ears rang with pain due to Catherine’s sonic tornado blast, so the rush of air around him went completely unnoticed. When he realized he wasn’t on the ground and was indeed falling to his death, that was when he started to panic. His body tensed up right as Rath took hold of him from around the waist, and automatically the love monkey wrapped his arms around Rath’s should for support. As Rath’s sword dug into the cliff, rocks and dirt began to be launched everywhere. Down they went, but their decent began to slow. Once they came to a full stop on the vertical cliff wall, Cho-Cao wrapped his legs around Rath’s body and held on tightly.

Eeee! Eee! My crossbows. They went over the cliff too. I have no spells to get us back up.

There will be no need. You will die here

Lady Mirana’s voice booms from above them and as the Fallen Winglie and the Love Monkey looked up to the voice they would see a large red dragon hovering down towards them. With one arm gone, she looked less than noble, and yet there was a new viciousness about her. The once calm, and collected daughter of the Great Old One, Lady Wynfrith, was now filled with revenge, and hatred. Her glowing yellow eyes shined as she flapped her wings and hovered to eye level with the two men. She was easily over fifty feet long and her wing span was much greater.

There are those who believe you should be locked up back in Castel de Luna, but I know the only punishment you deserve is execution. Criminal! Let my flames cleanse your existence from the Dimensional Grid!

With a deep breath, Lady Mirana began to ready a powerful blast of magical fire, however, something stopped her. Her eyes widened in fear as she closed her dragon mouth and gasped. Cho-Cao gasped as well as he looked behind Rath at the mountain cliff. When the Winglie looked back he would see a large green eye with a large vertical slit pupil. The eye was over thirty feet in diameter, and it seemed Rath’s sword was just feet away from it. With a rumbling of the mountain, the cliff began to move, and with Rath’s sword stuck to it, the winglie could do nothing but be lifted with the giant snake like head that uncoiled from the rock. The entire mountain shivered and soon seven large snake heads rose from the mountain… no.. this wasn’t a mountain… it was a pile of giant snakes covered in dirt! There were thousands of colossal snakes and as Rath and Cho-Cao were lifted by one, they were like ants crawling over someone’s arm.

Mirana! We must flee! Rath has lured us into the Realm of Gold! All except Great Old Ones are forbidden!

TRESPASSERS… DEFILERS… HEATHENS… BE GONE…

Instantly, Catherine wrapped her wigns around herself and soon her form spun and vanished with the sound of heavy fabric ripping. She was breaking out of the realm as fast as she could. The sound was trademark of an emergency escape from the realm which not only damaged the reality slightly, but greatly drained the user of the escape spell. Mirana wraped her own wings around herself as well, however, the giant snake eye ball Rath had his sword stuck into flashed a bright red and soon Rath, Cho-Cao and Mirana were paralyzed. Like stone statures they floated there in the air before suddenly everything went black.

When Rath awoke he would find himself cold, naked, weaponless, and in a cave prison cell. Magical silver bars kept him inside the cave, and as he moved, he would see Cho-Cao was also in the cell; shivering and nude. In her own cell next to Rath was Lady Mirana in her dragon form. She was chained down with a great metal spike floating above her forehead. Above that giant spike was a massive stone hammer that would slam into the spike if Mirana did anything to try and escape.

…So… You’ve woke… Your male lover was thinking you must be twice as effected by the sleeping spell because you’ve been hit by it so many times in Castel de Luna… I was just hoping Lady Getsuna shattered you mind and you would be a babbling idiot for the rest of eternity. A woman can dream, can’t she?

Why don’t you shut the Fel up… We’re all prisoners now, and by the looks of that spike and hammer over your stupid dragon head, you’re in deeper trouble. Come here Rath. Warm up with me. I‘m sure Alyrie and Thalia will come for us.

The slim man stood up from his cold stone bed and sat behind Rath and wrapped his arm around his lover for warmth. Lady Mirana could do nothing but roll her eyes and then sigh before trying to sleep. The only light they had was from the glowing silver bars, and the glowing silver spike above the dragon’s head.

Don’t hold your breath little monkey. The sister of Lady Corrigan is a traitor, and a traitor she will always be. She fled once Lady Getsuna’s many heads awoke and summoned the Wardens from Castel de Luna. Thalia then abandoned you all and left the realm while Alyrie was taken prisoner. However, she’s not in this realm. Lady Alyrie was taken to Castle de Luna, but that’s not the juiciest part… They found out she’s pregnant.

When Rath stuck his blade into the mountain, he had no idea what he had done. He had no idea that his blade had not cut rock but flesh. He had cut into a Great Old One. The guardian of the mountain and of all the treasure, he had cut into titanic hydra. Mere ants in comparison to this great behemoth, Rath knew he could do nothing for the moment. He had Cho Cao attached to his hip and his sword was stuck. He had no means of escape. Though from the look of things neither did Mirana.

All parties involved would find themselves bound by paralysis. The last thing Rath would see before familiar darkness was one of the many eyes of this creature. Once Rath awoke, he was once again imprisoned. He was naked and without his sword. He wasn't alone as Cho Cao was in the same cell, but he was alone at the same time. He didn't have his Tenro. His sword was taken yet again, and he was incomplete for yet another time. Curling his hands into a ball, Rath seethed. Though at the sound of Mirana's voice, he smiled. Things weren't so bad if she was stuck here as well.

Cho Cao seemed to be more against this housing arrangement however. Rath didn't really care, but let his consort wrap himself like a blanket over his body. The winglie wasn't cold, but he was so indifferent he didn't bother to make a fuss. It wasn't until Mirana spoke again that Rath found himself a bit more invested in conversation. Thalia was gone, not that all surprising really. Alyrie however had been captured, something that made Rath frown. His love was gone, but at least in Castel De Luna he knew she was safe. It wasn't until he heard mention of his love's pregnancy, that Rath got up from his bed.

"So I'm to be a father", he said lowly. It wasn't long before a small smile was on his face. "Zenzac will be so pleased to know we've become a real family." Looking to Cho Cao, "We need to get out of here and get my sword. There's still far too much left to be done, for me to sit here and rot. I'm not a father yet, but the time will come and I want something for the little hellion to look forward to."

Cho-Cao’s reaction to Alyrie being pregnant wasn’t as calm as Rath’s. In fact, the news had made him leap up to his feet away from Rath. Cho-Cao placed both hands on top of his own head and just looked at Mirana with a panic face. Alyrie? Pregnant? And with his Rathie-pookie? When the dark winglie turned to the love monkey and said they had to get his sword back once against, Cho-Cao couldn’t help but grit his teeth at him. The fur on his tail fluffed up as his face turned red from anger, and frustrion. He was fed up, and Rath’s cold behavior was beginning to get to him.

It’s always about that sword. The tenro this and the Tenro that. I’m sick of it! Then you bring that crazed half fae, half dragon woman into our home and all you can do is pay attention to her! What about Thalia and me? More importantly, what about me?! I was the first one to stay with you. Thalia came after, and now this woman who you got pregnant?! Gah! I’m so sick of it!

The slim man flung his arms up dramatically in aspiration before he turned from Rath and crossed his arms. The entire little scene was watched by the dragon, Mirana, and as the show ended, Mirana snickered. Her large dragon form rumbled as her large tail flicked around in the dirt. She looked to Rath and Cho-Cao in the cell and raised both lizard like brows.

”Trouble in paradise, eh, Argorath? Your harem seems less than thrilled with your recent decisions. Thalia has abandoned you to save her own skin, and now your male lover seems fed up with your annoying escapades. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least bit if Alyrie denounced your relationship all together right before the Wardens send her into a deep sleep in which she’ll never wake up.

The dragon woman’s taunts and words seemed to strike a nerve inside the petite man and immediately he turned to Mirana and marched right up to the cell bars and pointed at her through the metal. He glared darkly at her and she in return just stared at him.

I may not have my crossbow but I am still able to muster up some psychic energy to bring that spike down through your head, so help me Goddess, I will if…

Mirana and Cho-Cao looked at each other as if both of them realized something. Mirana was a dragon and could break the magic on the silver bars keeping Rath and Cho-Cao captive, however, if she tried anything magical the giant hammer would strike down onto the large spike and drive its point right through her skull. However, if Cho-Cao so choose, he could delay the hammer from hitting the spike which would give Rath time to fly forward and destroy the hammer and spike, and all three of them would be free. Cho-Cao looked to Rath as if thinking if it was worth risking joining forces to escape. Lady Mirana seemed to pick up on that quickly.

Foolish monkey! Rath! Your lover has the power to stop the hammer form driving the spike into my head and I have the power to break those magical bars. Stop the spike from killing me and I will set you free. Together we can escape. Lady Getsuna is not of Lady Dubaku’s or Lady Wynfrith’s line so she has no right to keep us here without just cause. Help me escape and I help you. I will even let you leave with the Tenro.

In the massive tunnel the three of them were in, they would hear some talking. Two female voices got closer and soon from the corner of the large cave tunnel Rath would see a pale blue-ish skinned woman with white hair, and completely black eyeballs with glowing gold pupils. The Lady of the Lake, and the one who first woke up Rath when he was banished to fall through the worlds for eternity; Lady Lyara. With her she was speaking to a rather tall woman over eight feet tall wearing white and gold robes. She had long brown hair, and was very noble in appearance. When this tall woman spoke, it was as if an entire room of woman spoke in unison. As they reached Rath’s, Cho-Cao’s and Miran’s dungeon, the three could hear the conversation.

They are trespassers. Betrayers of the sacred oath placed down by the Five Great Eyes. Far before you were born. Far before the first House fell. These laws reign true and all in the grid must be bound by these rules even if they were aware of these ancient laws. The contract rings as truth regardless of stupidity, Lady of the Lake.

”I understand. They are your prisoners until another Great Old One bargains with you and buys their freedom. I have no doubt you will get a great price for Mirana’s freedom from Lady Wynfrith. However, Lady Getsuna, what do you expect to do with Argorath? He is loyal to no realm. Is valued by no one powerful enough or wealthy enough to buy his freedom. Is he to remain your prisoner for all eternity? What about his lover?

Lady Getsuna in her human form paused and looked to Mirana before looking down at the small cave cell Rath and Choco were in. She then looked to Lyara before drumming her fingers on her leg as if that helped her think.

I will get a price for Mirana, but you are right. I will have no such luck with either males. They will be here until the worlds collide. That is the ancient law.

However, your law doesn’t say anything about keeping their belongings. I want the Tenro. Give it to me and in return I offer forfeit. I offer the Isle of Apples and my title of Lady of the lake.

Lady Getsuna remained qiet for a moment before staring at Rath and then back to Lyara. She then turned towards the end fo the tunnel and began to make her way out of the cave. Without another word, Lyara followed Lady Getsuna, but not before giving a quick grin at the fallen winglie. When they were gone, the large dragon, Mirana turned her head to Rath and glared.

See? We have no time already. I will NOT be rescued by my mother like some child. I will escape on my own, and it looks like in order to keep your Tenro out of the hands of the Lady of the Lake, you need my help too. What do you say Rath. Do we have a deal? If not, you can kiss your little sword good bye because you and I both know once an item falls into a fae’s hands, it will forever be fae property. You and your man whore will save me from certain death and in return I will break you free. Swear it!

And here we go. Rath could only roll his eyes as Cho Cao went on a tirade about how unhappy he was. The fallen winglie didn't even bother saying anything. When people joined his ranks, they knew what they were getting into. He made no promises save for one. He promised to accomplish his goals and he'd do whatever it took to do so. The tenro was crucial to his plans. Without it he was nowhere near as powerful as he could be. It's the only thing close to him actually having his wings back. He'd strive to have both his wings and his sword once more, but for now the sword was all he could have. If his consort couldn't accept that, than perhaps he had best move on.

Unfortunately the little monkey wasn't the only one trying to get in digs at him. Mirana was trying her hand as well. Unlike Cho Cao, she would not be given the courtesy of silence. Looking to the dragon Rath smiled, "You're really off your game Mirana. I'd give you a hand with insults, but you're not exactly a safe bet when keeping limbs now are you."

After that little quip, Rath pretty much tuned everyone out. It wasn't until the in ring fighting ceased and the duo reached a revelation did Rath listen. They could get out. Escape was possible but only if they worked together. Unfortunately formulating a plan would have to temporarily wait. Getsuna and Lyara were approaching, heavily involved in conversation. Rath scowled at mention of his sword, and the fact Lyara was trying to get it. He never knew what game the fae was playing, but he wouldn't let her play a game with his investments. Once the duo had left, Rath turned to Mirana.

"We have a deal, but know this. Double cross me, and I'll make sure my sword takes more than just an arm from you this time. "

Fine. I agree to this agreement as well. I’ll try my best to keep the hammer from striking the spike, but after we get out of this realm Rath. We’re through. I’m done being your sex toy. You say I give great head, but if you don’t even appreciate me beyond that, then there is no point being with you any more. I need to stare my own life. I need to fall in love with someone who will love me back. I never realized how much love meant to me until you broke my heart! So, when this is all done. I’m out of here…

When the deal was struck with all three sides, Mirana’s eyes glowed a deep red. She turned the bet she could to the cage as fire began to form in her chest. The glowing light in her throat began to grow brighter and bright as smoke started to rise up from her nostrils. She was about to use her dragon breath. Choco looked over to Mirana with wide eyes before jumping up and down, and then scampering over to the side of the cage to get away from the in coming fire.

I will stay true to the truce, because unlike you, Winglie, I have a sense of honor. However, once we leave this realm, I SHALL come after you later to kill you

When her great jaw opened, a black stream of fire erupted out from her throat. The scales on her body all stood on end as the magical flames rippled against the magical cage bars keeping Rath in and in an instant, the black flames turned to a sizzling, acidic smoke and spiraled around each bar. That was when the giant hammer above the spike over Mirana’s head came to life, and quickly backed away and then came crashing down. However, Cho Cao ran up to the end of the sizzling bars and extended his hand out and instantly a pink heart shaped sheet of magic appeared on top of the head of the large spike. The hammer collided into the heart, and caused it to crack. The collision against the mental heart shield threw the love monkey onto the ground, but he didn’t not break his concentration.

However, it was clear, Cho Cao would not be able to hold the heart force field wall for long. Another two hits and the field will break, and send the massive spike through Mirana’s skull. The black smoke broke the first bar… then the second. Bars were falling fast, but were they fast enough? As the hammer collided into the heart shield for a second time, Cho Cao screamed out in pain as he held onto his head. His eyes glowed a bright pink as he used all his might to hold back the hammer’s strikes. Rath would need to use his immense speed to get to the hammer and destroy it.

As the last bar of the mage cage fell, the spell keeping them inside faded away and Rath was free. At the same time the hammer slammed down on the monkey’s spell one last time and shattered it. The monkey fell back unconscious, as the hammer moved back one last time and came crashing down towards the spike that would kill the dragon mage if Rath did not save her.

Between Cho Cao and Mirana, Rath didn't know who he wanted to disembowel more. The love monkey was being incredibly emotional all of a sudden. Rath understood his complaints, but he wasn't the type to give the emotions Cho supposedly needed or wanted. Rath always made that clear, from the very beginning. He only ever loved Dubaku, and was forced to love again in order to keep Alyrie on his good side. Other than that he had no need for the silly emotion that was love. If the monkey wanted to jump ship now, than so be it. Rath was only wondering why it took him this long to do so.

As for Mirana, her words made Rath grind his teeth. A criminal he was but his honor never left him. He held true to his deals, through and through. He wouldn't make them in the first place if he didn't have anything to gain from them. Though given how determined Mirana was to come after him, maybe he should forego such honor and rid himself of the nuisance before she became an even bigger problem.

In any event, thoughts were just thoughts and he needed both headache inducers to get closer to what was his. Arms crossed, Rath watched silently as Mirana began burning the bars of the prison with her flames. Right away the hammer with which to spell the dragon's doom would come crashing down if not for Cho Cao's intervention. Arms crossed, Rath watched as another set of bars melted away and the hammer went in for another strike at Cho Cao's meddling. The sheer force would overtax the monkey and it would be up to the winglie to step in once he was out.

Once his freedom was assured, Rath charged out of his broken cage. Feeling the dark powers of the void coursing from within his veins, he could feel something begin to manifest. His arm would bubble and boil as shadowy puss leaked out over his skin. His entire arm now covered, the liquid would harden into a form sharper than magic steel. Jumping into the air, Rath used his new found claw to slice through the hammer with ease.

"It's done."

As the giant magical hammer was pierced with Rath’s might, the entire weapon exploded in bright lights. The spike dropped to the side and Lady Mirana’s massive dragon form was free. With a quickly spread of her large wings, her iamge shimmered and suddenly compressed as if reality had just shifted. In just the blink of an eye, a red headed woman in a long white gown would be seen in the dragon’s place. One arm was holding a long staff with a bright flame on it’s head like a torch. The other sleeve was emply and only loose fabric swung lightly as Mirana walked away from Rath and to the tunnel where Lady Getsuna, and Lyara had left down. She then turned to the Winglie and glared.

Even with your powers and mine combined, we cannot hope to defeat a Great Old One Especially in her own world. Our best bet is to work together and get through her traps and to the Tenro. But first, are you just going to leave you whore here? Nevermind. I could care less

Without saying another word, she ran in the opposite direction of Lyara’s and Getsuna’s path and heading into the next room. When Rath joined her, with or without Cho Cao with him, he would see Mirana was staring at a large blue crystal the size of a whale being suspended with long gold chains from the ceiling. The dragon was glaring at the giant gem; apparently debating on what to do.

As Rath was about to say something, she lifted her hand quickly and looked at him with her finger on her mouth. She then reached down to the floor and grabbed a rock from the cave, and turned her back to the Winglie. With her long red hair facing Rath, she tossed the rock forward and the moment it hit the ground and made a noise, the blue gem of colossal size changed red, and a beam blasted out of the bottom point right onto the thing that made the sound. The rock was immediate incinerated.

The one armed woman blow quietly at the torch like staff she was holding as a few emblems drifted out. The embers first created the word “Silencing” and then rearranged again after that to spell out the words “Guardian.” But, Mirana’s words wouldn’t be what Rath would focus on, because on the upper balcony like ledge of the cave room, the dark winglie would see Lyara in her snooty glory. She was sitting there casually watching them with a grin. She looked entertained, and pleased to see Rath walking about. With her large, thick legs crossed she looked around herself searchingly before she found a glass vase. She picked it up and waved at Rath before looking at the glass. She then silently swung her arm up and tossed the fragile, and no doubt breakable vase right at Rath’s and Mirana’s area.

And just like that the dragon was free. His job done, they were now free to move on. However Rath was quickly reminded of his consort still on the floor unconscious. Looking to the monkey, Rath showed a blank expression of indifference. After a moment with no decision, Rath made clear his intentions. Turning his head to the monkey, he abandoned Cho Cao to his own devices. It was here where they would part ways. After all he was planning on leaving anyways, so why continue this farce any longer?

Catching up with mirana, Rath's eyes were cast at an obscenely large crystal. The gem itself was being held by several strong and large chains. Moving closer, he though for a moment. He was going to make a comment but was promptly silenced by the woman he was forced to work with. Looking to her with curiosity and confusion, it became evident what it was she was getting at. The gem was no jewel or treasure, but security. It would obliterate anything that made noise within its presence. Terrific.

As if this little dilemma wasn't enough, Rath's attention would get snagged by the presence of another. Up to no good as always, Lyara was above watching them with mischief in her mind. Sure enough, she would look to cause drama by chucking a precious vase over. Staring at the fae with cold indifference, Rath tapped once again into his powers of the void. Though he had no real wings, he would produce imitations through shadows. Pushing himself forward, he would grab Mirana (making sure to cover her mouth) to move them as far away from the vase as possible. The gem would strike true given the duty it was bound to, but only the vase.

The moment the vase hit the floor and shattered loudly, the giant magical crystal came to life once more and shined a bright raging red. The beam of destructive power launched out quickly and reduced the shards of broken glass to ashes. The smell of the smoke loomed in the air as Mirana, who was still in Rath’s arms looked around silently at where the vase came from. When she saw Lyara she glared heavily. The House of Tuvai and the House of Relifar were enemies to the very core. Each House wished each other’s destruction so seeing Lyara of Dubaku’s Realm there toying them made the dragon sorceress grit her teeth in rage.

However, Lyara, as usual, looked on with a smug grin and waved at the two before waving her hands in the air. Like blurs coming into focus, seven vases appeared floating over Lyara. She was using her Fae magic to manipulate reality. With her finger pointed at Rath and Mirana, she sent two vases at them. With eyes widen, Mirana swung her torch like staff around and sent a large blast of fire at the Fae woman. However, as the dragon did so, her staff produced a booming sound. The blue crystal came to life once more and shot down at Mirana, but the woman jumped out of the way.

With a fireball coming her way, Lyara looked on with anger and immediately her vases dropped just as she ducked the fire ball. Five beams shot out towards Lyara; each striking a vase that had shattered, and also at the spot Mirana’s fireball had hit. Lyara dropped down form the top balcony and landed on the floor and with another wave of her hand, she summoned her staff.

Looking onto Rath, and Mirana, she held out her weapon. Neither one of them really could attack the other without the crystal interfering, with with a slight grin and her eyes looking up at the crystal, Lyara pointed at Rath and then at the crystal. The fae woman then pointed at Mirana and then at the crystal before pointing at her own staff and then at the crystal. Everyone was going to fight, and the look on Mirana’s face as she looked at Rath showed she was ending their truce now. The three of them would have a full on free for all; each hating the other two. The Triad of Guardian Races. Winglie. Fae. Dragon. A battle to the death, but first…

Mirana struck at the crystal first. She sent out a blazing orange beam of magic that hit the crystal and started to crack it. Immediately the crystal retaliated with it’s own beam, but Lyara extended her hand out towards the beam and with her reality manipulation she curved the beam as if it were a pipe clean, and caused it to turn back at itself. She then waved her staff around and sent a blast of blue orbs at the crystal; causing it to crack even more. It was up to Rath to take the final blow and destroy the weakened crystal, and the moment the crystal went down, the Battle of the Trinity would begin.

He knew Mirana wouldn't keep to her word, however Rath didn't expect it to be so soon for her betrayal. Scowling for a moment, the fallen winglie accepted the situation for what it was. Unfortunately it was a situation that didn't exactly work in his favor. The three guardian races would fight, but were their stats even? Rath didn't think so. Lyara was at the height of her game as far as he knew. As for Mirana, she still had considerable power to her even though Rath reduced her to a sniveling gimp.

But what of Rath? He didn't have his wings, which meant he didn't have the powers of his racial status. On top of that, he was weaponless. The tenro was another big component to his power. Stripped of his two biggest assets, Rath only had the power of the void and a reservoir of magic at his disposal. Casting his cat like eyes upward, he noticed however he could have something else to work with and manipulate.

Mirana and Lyara wanted to destroy the crystal and be rid of it. Rath however wanted to use it to his advantage. With the crystal still blasting rounds, he could easily manipulate shots meant for him against the miserable women in front of him. Looking at the cracks left in place by both attacks, Rath smiled as both his arms began to leak the signature black pus from before. Casting his arms up toward the crystal, the dark goop slithered off his arm like snakes and pierced through the air like sentient tendrils. Landing in the cracks of the crystal, the dark liquid would seep itself into place; filling the crevices and hardening.

Without a word, Rath merely smiled at the women before releasing more twisted pus from his arms in both their directions. The liquid matter would harden and form ebony shards, ready to pierce anything they made contact with.

It wasn’t a shock that Rath would be a rebel in the silent agreement to get rid of the interfering Crystal guardian so they could all fight. He just had to make everything difficult. That was another reason why Mirana hated the dark winglie so much. As Rath’s shards flew at her, she spun to the left quickly which allowed the fabric of her sleeve to flick up. Instantly the sleeve transformed into a large dragon wing that shielded the shards from hitting her body. As the crystals shattered across her dense, solid dragon scales, Mirana cussed and cursed at Rath in her native tongue.

Meanwhile, Lyara grinned at her own in coming chards Rath sent her way. She enjoyed the way Rath was so unpredictable. She felt excitement, and adventure when she dealt with the man. It kept things interesting, and she appreciated that. With the snap of her fingers, the Fae sent out a wave of blue magic to wash over the shards, and instantly each shard transformed into a white dove and flew upwards to the sky; completely avoiding her and the rest of the fight. The fae power of reality manipulation. Mirana glared at Lyara as the Fae spun her staff around violently. From the glowing arching circle her luminescent blue orb made with her swings, Lyara sent out a few blades of magic out towards Mirana.

You cunt!

The dragon sorceress shouted as she saw what Lyara was doing. With a massive scream, Mirana pulled down her dragon wing and opened her mouth out towards Rath and Lyara. A large stream of dragon fire busted out towards the Winglie and the Fae. Isntantly the fires disrupted Lyara’s spell and made her blue magical blades dissipate as it destroyed everything in its path. With a smile, Lyara leapt back up in a great jump, back onto the upper balcony to avoid the flames. She watched Rath carefully.. She loved how he was always rebelling against everything. It made him fun to toy with. His reactions, and his words were what drove Lyara several times to pester him. She had saved him from his exile, and his sentence of falling through the dimensions forever, not only because she needed a favor, but also she needed a playmate.

With Rath having a hold of the crystal, the crystal didn’t seem to be able to respond to any noise, however, the moment Rath let go of the silencing guardian it would be free to destroy anything it wanted. However, as Rath’s pus like black ooze seeped into the crevices of the large crystal, the winglie would feel a pulsating energy deep inside the shiny mass. It was evil, and familiar. His Tenro.. His Tenro was inside the crystal being drained of power. The more the crystal used it’s beams, the more the Tenro would weaken. It was the only way Lady Getsuna would be able to weild it without haven’t to go through the same fate as Mirana.

As Mirana’s dragons’ breath flew at Rath, Lyara whipped her hand up and summoned up a swarm of swords that would then rain down towards Rath; attempting to skewer him. From there, she couldn’t resist a really bad joke.

Here Argorath! Instead of being evil, why don’t you be a bit more Holey!”

Rath was frightening for many warriors of the grid because he was so unorthodox. There was no telling what move he'd make or what expenses he'd take to do something. Sealing the crystal's cracks was as much a boon for the Winglie as it was a failure. The crystal ceased its firing make it useless never the less but it did give Rath a message. There was something more to this crystal than anyone would have guessed. His Tenro was being held captive inside of it. How clever of Getsuna. Unfortunately getting his sword would have to wait as both Mirana and Lyara had sent very deadly attacks his way. Though in the case of Lyara, Rath was dealt an even deadlier and painful pun.

Rath was pretty sure the joke was more painful than any damage Lyara's attack could actually do. Staring at the raven, the fallen winglie sighed before making an attempt to deal with her attack as well as Mirana's. Tapping into the powers of the void once more, Rath felt immense pain coming from within. Clutching his stomach, the fallen winglie fell down to one knee while crying in pain. Black pus began to spill out of his mouth and drip onto the floor. More pus would flow from his intestines, but rather than fall onto the floor would start covering Rath's body and warping his anatomy.

By the time both ladies attacks landed, Rath was nothing more than black humanoid slime. The fire would hit his left burning a large chunk of slime, and leaving Rath smoking. At the same time the swords would completely pierce through his right side and out of his left flying toward Mirana. His already smoldering form was now filled with several holes. To paint a rather unique picture Rath looked like blackened swiss cheese, smoke radiating off his body.

Having survived both attacks, Rath would collapse into a pool of black goop. It wasn't long before the fallen winglie's common humanoid form would emerge and rise from the pool of ebony slime as if he hadn't been hurt at all. Looking to the crystal with a smile, Rath reconnected with the hardened pus nested within it. The pus itself would lessen in density, becoming less crystalline and more root like. Now acting as dark tendrils of the void, the pus would seep deeper and deeper into the core of the crystal creating more cracks and fissures. Rath would break the crystal cage keeping his sword from him, and once his tenro was free he would hold it in his hands once more.

Looking to Lyara, "You were saying?"

Like much of what Lyara did, the swarm of swords was merely a way to annoy the Winglie. She had always been the type to do things just to piss people off. Perhaps that’s why she enjoyed Rath’s antics most of the time. Because Rath would just bring rage into anyone he met. As Rath tapped into the Void once more, Lyara watched as he became like tar. Mirana’s flames engulfed the blob that was once Rath and cause his entire left side to smoke. Moments later, Lyara’s swarm of swords passed right through him and towards the dragon sorceress.

With a look of rage, yet one of focus, the sorceress dragon slammed her torch like staff onto the floor and caused a sheet of white light to form in front of her. The swords would penetrate the sheet of white light and have their mighty blades stuck in her shield. Like throwing away toothpicks stuck into fabric, Mirana waved the swords to the side and glared out at Rath as his black mass would reemerge and moments later he would be holding the very sword that took her arm.

Lyara, however, wasn’t as enraged as Mirana, and she merely crossed her arms over her large bust, and shifted her weight to one hip. Her large thighs showing under her armor, and her deep black eyes with gold pupils looked down at Rath from the upper balcony. With a grin, she shrugged.

”Do not think I will flee just because you retrieved your sword back. I pulled you from your plummet through the worlds. I have more power than you give me credit for. But, now that you have your sword back, what are you going to do about Mirana. Your little truce seemed to short lived. I would have thought it would last at least until you reached Getsuna’s throne room where she keeps the only open portal out of this mountain.

Looks like Dragons aren’t as noble as you people like to claim, huh Mirana? Rath. I would like to offer you forfeit. A deal, one that I cannot betray. You should know by now Rath, only a Fae’s word rings as absolute truth. My Forfeit will be to team up with you until the throne room, and in return… I don’t know… Promise to never see my daughter again. Leave Alyrie out of this war. Abandon her and your unborn child. I do not care what you promised Lady Zenzac. Leave Alyrie where she is, even if she is in Castel de Luna. She is safe there, and so is your unborn baby. You can trust me I will have your back if you agree to this forfeit. We’ve teamed up before against my mother, and you know no betrayal from me. Besides, what can you loose?

She grinned at Rath as Mirana gasped indignantly at the offer. With raging black eyes, she dropped her staff, and her form began to grow. She knew she would be outnumbered if Rath agreed with Lyara’s forfeit. They would be on the same team, and she would be left as the obstacle in their way. So, she transformed into her dragon form and with a mighty roar she spun quickly and sent her massive, axe like tail right at Rath.

Lyara was wrong about one thing, Rath did not underestimate the lady of the lake. He knew just how strong both she and Mirana were. However the fact he had his sword once more, meant things were more even. Rath had an entire repertoire of tactics and moves opened up to him once again. The void was a powerful force to use, but it was draining. If he kept using the void like he had, he'd likely be dead if not from overuse then either female's assault.

What Rath did underestimate was Lyara's skill to turn every turn of events into a business deal. Blasted Fae, always trying to make deals. Huffing at the mere mention of forfeit, Rath however could not ignore the offer out right. After all, his alliance with Mirana had dissolved much too soon and he was all alone. While singularity was a concept Rath worked well with, it might not be the best option given the fact a giant Hydra was still an obstacle to his escape.

But at what cost would he receive Lyara's help? His beloved and his unborn son were the price for aid. If he ignored Zenzac's wishes, he would have Lyara as a momentary ally. However he'd be unable to see his family ever again. He would not be able to make use of his son, nor see his beloved again. Because of Zenzac, Rath was forced to truly feel love again. He had sworn against such action after Dubaku, and with good reason though only to betray his notions because of the forever mother.

Lyara was giving him a get out of jail free card. He'd be off the hook! Rath would be free once again from his emotional tethers, and could be the vagabond he so chose to be! Would he give up his pawns of the future for the sake of a temporary pawn of the present?

Debating the decision, Rath would have to contend with Mirana attacking. The crimson dragon would not take chances with such a potential alliance in the work. Tail swinging through the air, it's scales would collide with the cold and tempered blade of the Tenro. Rath could feel the power within the blade hum upon contact with the source of power it had been impregnated with not long ago. Holding the dragon at bay, Rath looked to Lyara.

"The answer...", he smiled, "is no."

Mirana’s mighty tail came to a crashing stop against Rath’s tenro sword. The two blades locked with a fiery spark as rippled of magic were sent everywhere. The ground shook at the collision of blades, and a s Lyara waited for an answer, the Fae woman watched intently. However, as Rath held Mirana back, Lyara would receive an answer not in her favor. No? Lyara smirked at the answer. Loyalty wasn’t something Rath was known for so to see he valued Alyrie’s love over getting away free of all this emotion was a bit surprising. However, it also made another thing very clear. Rath really did love her daughter. With a light shrug, she replied to Rath.

It seems no is my answer. So no forfeit is made. It looks like it’s a three way battle after all. Malum ogsonos Ssenkrad!

Rath wasn’t the only one who could summon up tendrils of magic. From her feet, Lyara’s shadow produced several long black chains. However, her tendrils were not from the void, but rather they were a form of shadow magic or night spell. She sent her chains as Mirana to wrap around the dragon and with the twiddling of the Fae’s hands, Mirana was pulled away from the dark winglie. Roaring angrily, the dragon whipped about, but Lyara merely grinned before she swung her long magic staff at Rath. All around Rath would appear Crest Hunters; Lyara‘s personal arm made of Ethereal residue.

With their axes, and their swords, these vicious skeletal looking shadows circled Rath. At the same time, Mirana looked to Rath and Lyara and once again sent out a long stream of dragon fire at the two enemies before her.

Had he made a mistake? Should he have accepted Lyara's proposition? One could argue both for and against such ideas, but the only opinion that mattered was Rath's. Rath knew what he wanted and what his ideal end game was. In order to reach what he so desperately wanted and yearned for, he would have to make some sacrifice in the here and now. Besides, pain just fueled him and motivated him to fight further and harder. He'd get the most pain by keeping things a three way battle.

Keeping the pressure of his sword locked with Mirana's tail, Rath could see Lyara casting a spell from his peripheral vision. Tendrils arose from shadows and wrapped themselves around Mirana before pulling her away. Despite her flailing, Rath was free from the crimson dragon. Though his freedom was cut short as he had to swiftly defend once more, using his sword to clash with Lyara's staff. His action however was too late as several crest hunters gathered all around him.

Breaking away from the fae woman, Rath couldn't help but smile. With the warriors circling around him, the winglie flashed his sordid steel before going on the offensive. Though many in number, they were weak. Rath would bifurcate and lacerate each one of them till all had fallen and were unable to get up. Despite the carnage, his tenro would remain pristine and without stain. Bringing the sword to his front, Rath charged his own power into it as Mirana's fire came toward him. As if it were cutting flesh, the blade would cleave the stream of fire in half and leave Rath unharmed.

Moving on the offensive, the winglie would tap into the power of the void before casting out his arm. At the center of his palm, a set of lips would appear in his flesh and open to reveal several sharp and demon like teeth. Upon it's opening, a river of corrosive acid and toxins would propel itself toward the annoying dragon. Not one to forget Lyara, Rath would swing his sword several times; each slash creating several thin vacuums of intense wind toward the fae.

Lyara watched with narrowed, eyes filled with not only anger, but calculation. She watched as her tendrils from the shadows below took Mirana back, but she also made note of Rath’s reaction. When she swung her staff, she did not expect Rath to rush at her and clash his sword against her weapon. She stepped back several times, and regained her footing. Her deep black eyes with the gold pupils stare off as Mirana sent a stream of fire towards Rath and her. Rath did little more then cut the dragon breath in half, while Lyara had less ease than that. Unlike Rath, Lyara was weakened by dragon flames, so hastily, she swung her staff out and formed a force field of blue magic in front of her. The fire surrounded her, and then dissipated shortly. However, in that time, it seemed the Dark Winglie made short work of her servants. All her Crest Hunters. Dead.

Mirana, on the other hand, was less bitter, and more frantic as the spray of acid that now came towards her. With her massive dragon wings, she covered herself. However, the sound of sizzling roared through the cave. Like cold water be thrown on a red hot frying pan. The smell of burning flesh filled the air as Mirana roared in pain. With a shift in air pressure of the room, Mirana was back in her human form with a heavily burn side. She glared at Rath as she stepped away from the two as Rath and Lyara fought.

With a snarl, Lyara swung up her magic staff to meet his blades of wind. With each swing that she spiraled around her expertly, she broke a thin wind blade in half. Was he testing her? Perhaps. Or was he toying with her? That was also a possibility. Wind was something they all dealt with, and wind magic was no different. He as a Winglie. She as a Raven Fae. And Mirana as a winged dragon. Wind was something none of them truly could press against the other. However, it gave the fae an idea.

Looking around the cave, she noticed it wasn’t a very nicely carved cave. No pillars. No support beams. Just a large tunnel in the mountain. With a smirk she looked back at Rath as her body began to shift. It was Lyara’s turn to go into her true form. Smoke covered her body and soon a great black raven, very similar to Lady Dubaku’s true form, appear from the cloud of smoke. With purple surges of lightning rippling off her wings, the large twelve foot bird spread it’s massive wings and with one flap, she sent a huge gust up into the cave ceiling. The moment of impact sounded like a sick crack of someone’s neck. The stone shifted, and cracked as immediately, Lyara transformed back into her big thighed fae body. The cave tunnel was coming down piece by piece.

Mirana hissed as she held onto her injured, acid burnt side and fled into the tunnel leading to Lady Getsuna’s throne room. With a smal wave, Lyara, too, fled into the next room as the rocks came falling down onto Rath.

Smirking at the sigh of his acid successfully corroding Mirana's flesh, Rath was truly proud of himself. He had not only inflicted pain on the dragon but forced her to revert to her human form. That was not an easy feat, and it was one Rath considered noteworthy.

Seeing the wretch of a woman limp away, Rath's focus shifted to Lyara. His smile fading to an expression of sheer indifference, Rath watched as the fae dealt with his wind attack accordingly. All three of them dealing with wind, made it almost a joke in terms of an attack. However for Rath, offensive had multiple purposes and in this case his offensive served the purpose of breathing room. He knew better than to think a wind attack would kill the raven Fae.

Clutching his tenro, Rath was ready to charge back in when his movements came to a stop. Like Mirana had before, Lyara was now taking to her true form. In a fantastic display only a fae could provide, Rath was before a large raven (much similar to his former beloved). Just what was the witch up too? With one flap of her giant wings, Lyara would cause the ceiling to crack and splinter. It was going to come down!

Seeing Mirana flee and Lyara soon after, Rath knew it was time to make his exit as well. With the rocks coming down from above, he'd hurry along, using his sword to slice anything that got in his way before reaching the throne room.

That whole part of the caverns was falling on top of them. The ground rumbled as the sound of rocks cracking and breaking roared all around the dark winglie. He could see the Dragon mage and the fae running a head of him to avoid the falling rocks. Behind him, Rath would feel the pressure of the cave in. Like a gust of wind that would push him forward in his steps slightly, the cave behind him collapsed. Like a scene right out of a movie, all three of them, Mirana, Lyara, and Rath jumped out of the last parts of the collapsing tunnel and right into the throne room as dust and debris was launched everywhere. If only they had dramatic music it would have been the perfect scene.

Ugh… that was a bad idea.

Lyara said as she pulled herself up off the groun and stepped right over Mirana and Rath to get to the main part of the throne room. Or rather, she stepped right ON TOP of Mirana on Rath. One foot slammed into Mirana’s face like a stepping stone, and her other foot stomped on Rath’s hand. The Lady of the Lake couldn’t care less who she stepped on to get to where she wanted. Both literally and figuratively. Mirana shrieked in pain due to her already acid eaten face. With Lyara’s heavy body weight on her burns, she felt the face stomp by ten fold. However, the dragon still managed to get herself off the ground and to her feet. With a mighty roar, Mirana sent a ball of fire right at Rath as he was trying to get up. Mirana then swung her torch staff about as flames surrounded her.

Enough of this playing around. I shall kill you both even if it is the last thing I do!”

The fire the spun around Mirana formed into a large spinning blade. Like a saw of fire, Mirana launched her spinning projectile right at Lyara. Wind flew up all around the dragon sorceress as her fire saw launched through the air at the Fae woman. With a glare, Lyara turned around and extended her hand out at the saw. With a spark of magic, Lyara sent several blades of steel right at the flaming disc. However, the blades would only slow down Wynfrith’s daughter’s attack just enough for her to duck out of the way. Lyara dove to the floor with a few choice swear words before aiming her staff at Rath and Mirana; sending out a bolt of purple lightning at them.

Fuck you both!

Exiting the cave, Rath didn't realize just how close he was cutting it. The last of the room coming down behind him, powerful gusts of wind would knock the Winglie off his feet and face planting on the floor ahead. While he'd have wished for a more graceful landing, nothing could be done. Of course things weren't exactly helped as he felt an extreme weight suddenly press down on his hand. Grumbling as he looked up, Rath would see Lyara's thunder thighs in view. Who she was to just walk all over him as if it were okay!?

Clutching his sword, Rath would get up and catch a blaze of fire headed his way. It seemed the minute one woman had his attention, the other needed to find a way to grab it. He had to wonder if Mirana and Lyara were jealous over the fact one was getting in the next potential hit at maiming Rath or something. Using his free hand the winglie would use the familiar powers of the void, the familiar mouth opening up withing his palm. However instead of acid pouring out, it merely opened itself as if to eat. Sure enough, the fire Mirana sent Rath's way went smoothly into the void in his hand and down whatever being's throat that his body became connected to.

"Oh both of you shut up" Rath hissed.

A bolt of lightning sent his way, Rath would defend himself by bringing his tenro into a front guard position. With a sword like a lightning rod, the electricity naturally latched itself around the demonic conductor.

"I think it's time my Tenro feeds on the meal it was meant to finish epochs ago", Rath smirked.

Even with Lyara meddling in his affairs, Rath had never been more determined to see something through to the end. He would slay Mirana by his hand and use what was left of her mighty power to give his sword a more permanent boost. Flourishing the blade a few times in hand Rath eventually sent the electricity back at Mirana, giving her an extra dose of Lyara's magic.

The ground was shaking, and the cave ceiling was rumbling. The power of Mirana’s, Lyara’s, and Rath’s attacks was so large that as they fought, the very rocky structures they were battling in seem to tremble in fear. Their might combined would have been a devastating wall for an enemy to face, however, with all three of them at each other’s throats, it was very unlikely they would cast aside their differences and work together. Mirana’s flame attack was strong, but it didn’t connect. Mirana’s dragon breath was no match for something so dark. A magic so vile only the demons of the Void dare use it since it not only destroyed your body, but also your soul. If your soul was destroyed, it mean you couldn’t be brought back. It was game over for you. It was soemthing not even the Great Old Ones would touch. The great Eyes even banned its use from their Houses. To see it being used right in front of her, disturbed Mirana and caused her to rush backwards several steps as she watched.

Lyara, however, wasn’t new to Rath’s use of the Void, nor was she really shocked by it. Unlike most of her House, and kind, she didn’t see magic as being white or black, or good or evil. It was about intent, and morals. After all, she dealt with contractual binding magics. Easily said to be good, but just as easily said to be evil. Rath wasn’t evil for using the Void magics. He was evil for what he did with it. And right now, he used his power to manipulate her lightning attack to launch at the Dragon woman. Lyara held her breath as she skidded to a halt. She wouldn’t dare attack Rath at close range when he was wielding lightning.

However, Mirana seemed to not have that same mindset. When she saw his void magic end, she rushed forward right as the lightning hit his sword. With a swing of her staff, she was about to summon up another spell, but was instead hit with a bolt of charged magic. Electricity swarmed over her body, and caused her to shriek in pain. Her body lit up in flashes of gold and yellow as the lightning penetrated her body and damaged her insides. She screamed and fell to her knees in agony. And then, the dragon sorceress would feel cold steel dive deep into her chest, and through her heart. When the lights faded, Mirana would look up to see Rath standing over her. Her chest heaved as she tried to breath with Rath’s Tenro skewering her heart, and as she looked into his eyes with hatred, the Tenro’s blade began to glow red. Mirana began to grow pale as the tenro sucked up blood, magic, energy, and powers. Life faded from the dragon woman’s eyes as her face softened from anger, to pain, and then… to a smile. She looked up to Rath weakly as the Tenro began to shake and vibrate.

This was the part where the Tenro would steal the soul of its victim, however, it seemed the blade was having trouble taking Mirana’s soul. Lyara watched silently with a cold expression, neither condoning, nor disapproving of Rath’s kill. The Tenro in Rath’s hands shuddered as a bright light erupted from Mirana’s chest and sent out a force so powerful, it knocked both Rath and Lyara back off their feet. The Fae slammed into the rock wall behind her as Rath and his Tenro were thrown from Mirana’s body. As Lyara lifted her head up to see what was going on, she would see Mirana’s body begin to glow and disintegrate as an orb of purple light floated from her body. Mirana’s soul hovered in the air for a moment before a giant portal opened up beneath it and sucked it into its vortex. Flames and nature spells held onto the soul and protected it as the portal began to close. Dragon Magic… Lyara lifted from her spot on the floor to stare at Rath as the soul vanished from their sights; leaving only white ash where Mirana’s body once was. Rath had just killed Lady Wynfrith’s oldest daughter. With a silent, yet cautious look at Rath, Lyara grabbed her magic staff and ran for the exit.

The fae kicked open the large doors and immediately winds bursted into the throne room. Strong gusts almost pushed Lyara back, but she steadied herself and ran out into the open air. The sun was gone and it was replaced by pitch black clouds, and rain. As Rath followed the Lady of the lake, he enter the rain storm to see Lyara transforming into a large shadowy raven and taking off into the air. She was retreating. After seeing Rath kill Mirana, she was not going to stay and take her chances fighting Rath now that he had obtained Mirana’s powers. As the water soaked Rath, he’d get a taste of the rain. It wasn’t water… It was some kind of poison. However, this toxin wasn’t made for him. He’d know the taste right away. “Ung’Wale Tau’re” a dark root that was used by dark magic users; most often used to harm reptilian creatures. To dragons, lizard men, and Hydras, the Ung’wale Tau’re was like acid. It burned them, and poisoned them.

Above Rath he would hear the high pitched roars of pain mixed into the sounds of thunder. Above him, on the very top of the mountain Rath exited out from, he’d see the massive hydra, Lady Getsuna thrash around in pain as the rain burned her flesh and eat away at her body. Her countless heads whipped about as she tried to fight off several vines, and rapidly growing moss. Giant blue flowers the size of trees grew everywhere and right away Rath would know the Great old One, Lord Vistlan, the Magnanimous Blossom was doing the attacking. Aiding him, Rath would see above were two giant creatures; a Lioness, and a Wolf. Lady Amunet, and Lady Muika It wasn’t uncommon for Great Old Ones to attack each other for territories, but it was uncommon for Great Old Ones to team up. They wanted something. Something that seemed didn’t involve Rath.

Glumzambur

He may not have gotten her soul, but in the end he had her power. For now that was enough. Whatever enchantment Mirana or perhaps Wynfrinth had done, it kept the soul in tact. It would find a new host and settle there, perhaps one day to become one of Rath's many bane's. However for now, he had bigger matters to prioritize. With one foe felled, her power in his hands, Rath turned to Lyara. With a smile, he had to wonder if she was still in the mindset of fighting him now that the battle was one on one.

Surprising no one, the raven would retreat and fight for another day. If that was her wish, than so be it. Rath would not push the issue any further seeing as he got his just rewards for today as well as his freedom. Following the same path Lyara took, Rath walked outside to not sunlight but darkness and rain. Looking up, storm clouds were overhead looming ominously above. As the rain fell down and touched his skin, he would know it was not water but poison. In his favor, the poison was not for him but reptiles.

While deciding his next course of action, Rath would hear cries of agony and pain. Looking up, things began to fall in place...in perspective. The hydra who imprisoned him was now dying, a plot cooked up by various Great Old Ones. Some of which, Rath had a personal score to settle with. Though as much as he'd love to bring each of those who brought him misfortune their untimely demise, he knew fighting with them now was pointless. The odds were not in his favor, not even close for that matter. But if he couldn't fight them, maybe he could figure out what they wanted. The land? Or perhaps...the treasure. What could possibly be of value, that several great old one's of multiple houses would want?

As much as he wanted to leave, the idea of being a meddlesome thorn in godly sides was too good to pass up. With a smile, Rath turned round and headed back inside. He had some worldly possessions to find.

Hey Listen
The moment Rath returned to the mountain throne room, he’d hear the wailing and the screaming of Lady Getsuna grow louder. She was dying right for the Winglie to hear, and with her dying breath, something happened to the mountain. The tunnels leading to the endless treasures and artefacts suddenly began to warp and shift. Reality was changing. Even the throne room was shifting as if everything value was being sucked into an alternate universe. The tunnels were gone, the grand throne chair vanished, and the beautiful throne room was now a barren cave. With Getsuna dead, it seemed the mountain closed itself off to all those who dare invade its depths to obtain its treasure.

Rath would find himself in the dark with only the dim light of the outside shining in behind him. However, as he stood there, he would see shadows. Others were entering the throne room behind him; blocking the light. He would recognize two of the women. Lady Amunet, and Lady Muika. But there was one woman who he would not know… or… was it a woman? The third to stand with Lady Amunet and lady Muika was a very androgynous being with long leaf-like hair tied up into a samurai like bun. It was thin, and elegant, but it had a masculine jaw. It was also made up completely out of vines, flowers, and leaves. Not doubt it was Lord Vistlan.. Or Lady Vistlan. Vistlan didn’t have a gender since it wasn’t so much a he, or a she, or an It. Vistan was a They. A collective consciousness made up of all the trees, flowers, and other plants in the Realm of the Garden. Muika and Amunet glared at Rath the moment they saw him. However Vistlan looked passed Rath and towards the areas where the tunnels should have been.

Argorath… The Fallen one. How unpleasant it is to see you. Has the man whore of Lady Dubaku lowered himself as far as to be picking up trash in the Realm of Gold? Where are your consorts?

Lady Amunet smugly taunted Rath as she stepped forward. She was very tall. Taller than Rath. Her long black hair flowed around her head elegantly as her gold jewellery glinted and shined. Rath would feel the power emitting off her body. It was hot and rippled off her in waves. Each wave would flow past his body like an uncomfortable breeze. This wasn’t some dragon sorceress, or a fae he was facing. He was in the presences of an Omnipotent Goddess. One who was a complete bitch. However, before Amunet could press her power and advantage on Rath, Muika stepped forward and grabbed her sister’s arm. Immediatley, Amunet looked back at Muika as the Wolf spoke.

Sister. Please. Save your mocking for some other time. Look. The tunnels. They have vanished.

Amunet snarled at Muika before turning around and looking towards the spot Vistlan was now investigating. The plant being touched the empty rock walls, and each picked up some of the dirt and pebbles around the area and tasted them. He placed the dirt in his mouth and smacked his leaf like lips before turning to the two Great Old Ones.

”Gone… The dimensional tunnels to all the treasure are gone. Sealed away. Only Hydras can enter here now.”

Immediately Amunet turned to Rath with an ear piercing roar and before Rath could respond, he would find the titan of a lion several stories tall pounce on him. With a single paw she held him down. A giant Lioness face peered down at him as it began to press him into the stone flooring. One paw was enough to cover Rath’s entire torso and legs. Only his shoulders and head were free from Amunet’s paw. Her jaw came close to the tiny Winglie and he could feel her Desert breath on his skin.

WHAT. DID. YOU. DO?!?!”
