Ha! So you're stuck in detention, huh? What was it this time? Got in a fight? Skipped class one too many times to go save the world? Or maybe you just couldn't keep your greasy hands off the dinosaurs on Kyoryu Island? In any case, it looks like you'll be stuck in here for a bit, bub. But don't fret, even the administration isn't so unkind as to leave a poor soul in here forever. The rules are simple. Some day you might notice a little field on your member profile saying 'In Detention: So and so - such and such'. That means that so and so character got themselves detention for such and such. Everyone will know what kind of horrible person (just kidding) your character is, unless you actually serve your detention! That's right, in order to remove the field, you need to actually make a topic in here that involves your character serving their time. Should you fail to do so, the little mark on your record won't go away until some admin gets bored of your displeasure (usually a month or two, or until I remember). That's not to say you can only serve detention for such publicly displayed crimes. The Detention sub-forum is always open for those who are misbehaving. It's just that sometimes, the staff likes to...encourage...its use. Have fun now. |
