Sitting inside his dorm room, Dom was at his desk staring out past his window. Glinting from the countless stars within it, the night sky held Dom's attention. He had been studying for finals, and unfortunately his mind was doing anything but concentrating. Rather than reading over yet another problem involving the quadratic equation, his eyes were glued outside. Something about the sky was just calling to him. He didn't know why, but it seemed to focus his scatter brained mind. Aside from school work, his brain was occupied with other thoughts too. Typical teenager thoughts of course, with a little extra dose of thoughts only the super powered received. It wasn't till he came to the retaliation that he needed to get this work done, Dom finally broke his gaze and returned to his book. However it wasn't long after did his eyes return to the sky. A portal had opened up, far off in the atmosphere that not even Dom could see it. But it was not the portal itself that had grabbed his attention, but what had come out of it and was now heading for the Earth. From his room, it looked like a shooting star at first. But within minutes it was clear the shooting star was something hurdling toward Earth. The closer and closer it got, the more the star appeared to be a flaming ball of...something. Perhaps a meteor? Though why wasn't shrinking in size? It wasn't until the flaming object crashed in the grounds, sending powerful shock waves throughout the campus, did Dom spring into action. Some may have seen the flaming wreck descending from the sky, but everyone would have felt the shock wave caused by the crash. For those with the curiosity to investigate, they would know where to go seeing black smoke coming from the murial grounds By the time Dom arrived, there was not only smoke but a roaring fire as well. The fire itself was rather large, akin in size to building fires; shadows of whatever had crashed masked in flame. Not exactly in the best environment, Dom was quick to shift into his Titan suit before advancing closer onto the scene. He didn't know what was engulfed by the fire or if there was anyone caught by the crash. He tried running a scan with his helmet, but Dexter's sensors weren't picking up anything with all the smoke. Calling out to anyone that may have been out there, "Anyone there? Are you okay?" |

Unlike Dom, Salome was not in her dorm room. Salome was actually out for a nightly jog. She didn't do it that often, as it was usually the time of day that she could see Evy, but she was busy with everything tonight, and on top of that, so was Salome. She had been studying a little bit ago, but decided she needed a run to clear her mind and just generally think. Besides, she wouldn't be able to fail math if she tried, and she was pretty sure that she had passed the test to graduate to the next year up. Typical teenager thoughts were hard to avoid no matter who you were. There was a point, amongst the magically glowing trees, and amongst the empty fields of the Murial Grounds that Salome looked up to the sky. She had simply looked up, star-gazing for a moment as the song shifted on her music player. She had gotten herself one doing some of the random jobs around Fukuoka. (Earning money was hard when a secret organization wasn't funding you the money to get whatever you wanted anymore.) With violet eyes aimed and locked on the sky, she paid attention to one star in particular, thinking about everything. About the tryouts for the soccer team, and about all of the people she had met while she had been on the Twin Campus. She thought about the fact that when she came here, about six months ago, she was a completely different person, and now? She had changed. But most of all? She thought about Evy. She wondered if she was sleeping okay, and she hoped that she wasn't working herself too hard toward the Olympics. Salome couldn't help but smile as she looked over the sky, remembering the flashing lights of the arcade she had recently been to. She also couldn't help but notice the way that one star seemed to get bigger and bigger by the minute. She couldn't help but to think of all of the movies that- wait. Star's didn't get bigger. They were just the remnants of light projected over thousands and possibly millions of lightyears away. Star simply blinked, rubbing her eyes before looking up for a moment. It was definitely getting bigger. Feeling a little... unsafe, like somehting was telling her body to move, Salome stopped looking at the sky and started running from the Murial Grounds, faster and faster as the object landed on the other side of the Murial Grounds, sending out a massive shockwave that knocked her on her ass, despite the fact that she had gotten into one of the hallways just in the knick of time. She sat there for a moment, dust and dirt coming in through the entrance before raining from the sky, Salome stood up, catching her breath once more as she looked around the Murial Grounds. There was fire everywhere, and half of the trees had been leveled as she snuck back out toward the smoke. She had heard someone calling out as she looked around. Was someone in the smoke? She didn't think about it- instead, she started heading toward the guy's voice she heard. "Hello?" she asked. It was hard to see, so she tried to brush the smoke away, to no avail. The cool night was now blazing with a massive fire as she accidentally smacked- a Power Ranger? It's what she got for trying to beat the wind that had blown the smoke into her face in the first place as she rubbed her eyes clean really quick. "Oh! Sorry! Are you okay?" Salome asked, patting the spot that she had hit him by accident. "I didn't mean to smack you. I... just had some smoke in my eyes," she admitted, looking toward the accident. |

She was up in the air when that happened, navigating her way back to the campus from the swimming pool in Fukuoka. At night she had a lesser chance of being spotted. Her black form stood out too much against the backdrop of a daytime sky, but still, she was quite visible. It was when she was looking at the skies, she saw a bright line crawl across the starry vista, the size of it couldn't be judged by this angle, but approximately to comparing it to similar-sized objects in the distance, it was quite big and it had already breached the atmosphere in one piece. That didn't seem like a shooting star or a comet at all, though once she saw the heavenly object gather momentum, it was headed directly towards where she was going: back to campus. With a quick beat of her wings she flew as fast as she could back towards the campus to investigate the trouble. As she was approaching she saw the impact, and the Murial Grounds were now ablaze with fire and smoke. As she used all her strength to travel faster towards the school, she blown back with the force of the shockwave, although from her distance from campus, she wasn't as badly affected as those who were caught in the heart of it. It was more like an invisible wave that disorientated and tried to drag her to the shore, but she immediately got a hold of her self and made a low dive down towards the Murial Grounds, her form now perpendicular to the ground as she descended slowly and cautiously. As she approached the campus, within her earshot she could faintly hear someone calling out to anybody who was there. There were people already investigating the strange occurrence, but she couldn't see if anyone was injured in the fire before she completed her descent. She shifted back to a more familiar form to people, although she was just wearing the tight-fitting Elemental Cloth, but it was still recognizably Embody – to those who were aware who she was. She could feel the heat and the smoke choke and irritate her eyes and nostrils, despite nobody being able to see them. Perhaps she shouldn't have landed so soon... Now that her feet were back on the ground, it was harder to navigate around the destruction. Though after semi-aimless walking, she managed to find Salome and an older student - at least, she thought it was an older student, although he looked very much like he came out of the old-school Sentai shows that her and her brother used to watch - but she couldn't name which one it was. "Are you okay," she mumbled, addressing to the group that had gathered. She couldn't exactly witness the destruction up close, and she wasn't sure how bad the casualties were. |

Angel didn't sleep, or rather, she did not require sleep to function. So, she filled her time with tutoring and helping others to improve their grade, and even made studying schedules. Her attendance in class were mandatory, even filling out the worksheets. But it was obvious that her learning capabilities were useless in a environment that she already knew about. But she attended none the less, enjoying the company of other people rather than the lessons. Her latest pupil was a Dominic Lombardi, no middle name was stated on his register form. She already had a schedule made out for him, and charts to help him memorize. They had met a handful of times, mostly to discuss the subjects that were troubling him, and what exactly he had difficulty with. From there, it was easy to make a lesson plan to suit his style better. So, when she found him rushing out of his room, she chased after him to give him his work, unaware of the UFO hurtling toward the school grounds. A pile of papers were hugged to her chest, intent on catching him. At the door, the impact of the landing threw the papers from her hands and into a storm of white parchment. Startled, she gawked at the fleeting outline of Dom before shaking her head and following after him once more. "Dominic?" She called and heard two more answering voices, it seemed the crash site was attracting more attention that she thought. Angel still gripped a white sheet of paper that had mathematical solutions. "Careful." Angel sad, placing a hand on the girl's lower back in order to help her. She was already close to Dom, and she didn't want to risk her colliding into her as well. |

“So you’ll take care of that?” Kale smiled at the student he’d been talking to, nodding softly. “I’ll personally talk to Miss Konno and get your family sorted out. They could be at Haven within the week.” The other boy seemed to smile, and bidding him, and his friend farewell, the green haired boy turned to head out the door from the plaza. While others liked being alone at this time of night…Kale hated it. Not having other people around made him start to go stir crazy. Even sleeping seemed a bit awkward to him, but at least there was always someone next door around the campus. At home he had to share a room with his sister, though she really needed the familiar mind around, to ease the pain her empathy took on her. That left him trying to find people…and people to talk to every night since he’d come to Azura though. The problem was it always came time to say goodbye eventually…that was inevitable. With somber thoughts in mind, the male opened the glass doors…And that’s when the world seemed to shift. At least that’s what it felt like. The initial impact was heard long before he ever saw anything, having been inside…but the resulting shockwave in the open air knocked him back through the door he’d just come out of…and broke the glass along with it, shattered as he struggled back to his feet, trying to brush things off his arms before they could be an issue. Something was wrong. Very wrong. That wasn’t normal, even here, and that meant… Well, this is what you came here for, Kale. …that someone could be hurt. Others were already en route…but it seemed everyone around and their grandmother seemed to be in better shape than the ERIS affiliate. He arrived at the crash site behind them, heaving and out of breath. Brushing a few flecks of glass out of his hair as he stared at…Well…he wasn’t sure what he was staring at through all the smoke. But that wasn’t going to stop him, leaning back to yell, “Is everyone alright? Stupid question…Does anyone need help?” The others weren’t far off…people come to help too, he wagered, and he made his way over, waiting for someone to give him a heads up on what was going on. They’d been here longer…right? |

Standing among the fire and flames, Dom's focus was completely on the wreck before his eyes. Suffice to say, he wouldn't even see Star coming. One good smack and Dom fumbled forward a bit. He hadn't expected that! Recollecting his balance he turned to see Star apologizing to him. Why did she so surprised to see him? Oh right, she had never seen him in his Titan Suit before. The visor retracting first, the rest of the helmet would soon follow as Dom's face was now clearly visible. Well as visible as it could be in the middle of an out of control barbecue. "Yeah I'm fine" he said in a recognizable manner. He'd have offered a popsicle, but it hardly seemed the time nor the place. It wasn't long before the duo became a quintet. It was only natural of course seeing as there was a flaming mess (other than dom (horrible gay pun i know)) sitting in the middle of their campus. Though out of everyone else that showed up, Dom quickly recognized his tutor; the one he had ditched to go check the explosion out. Mind you it wasn't intentional, but given how dedicated she was to him understanding formulas and equations it was a nice case of serendipity for Dom. "I'm okay. Though I'm not entirely sure if anyone got caught in the collision. That's why I came to investigate" Dom said with a nod. His helmet protracting over his face, Dom was ready to charge into the fire and investigate. However only a few steps forward and he suddenly stopped when he saw a figure approaching him. The smoke and the fire made it hard to distinguish, but he could definitely make out the outline of a person. Unfortunately there wouldn't be much time to try and get a clearer picture, when the sound of gunfire filled the air. Ducking instinctively, Dom was crouched so close to the ground he could hug the grass. Looking around it seemed no one was hurt, but he felt the need to ask the obligatory question anyways. "Anyone hurt?" Getting confirmation that everyone was okay, Dom looked back toward the fire. The person emerging from the crash was now clearly visible from his dark hair to his glasses to his very distinct guns. What the hell was his problem? Why was he firing on them? Getting off the ground, Dom positioned himself in front of the strange man. Helmet once again retracted, "Hold your fire!" Would the man listen? Or would he continue firing? What should the others do? Try and reason with him or fight back? |

The helmet came back and the visor retracted to reveal Dom? She blinked for a moment, looking over him as nodded. Dom... was a Power Ranger? She thought to herself for the moment as others had come up. Embody she had recognized from the tour, but hadn't really seen her since then. Angel, someone she didn't know, had placed a hand on her back as Salome blinked with her violet eyes. Kale was another person she didn't know, but he looked a little out of shape as she turned to face him, too, despite the fact that there was a raging inferno around them. What stood out about him was the green-colored hair. "I'm good," Salome answered Kale after Dom spoke before the helmet shot back across his face and Salome turned. There was a figure? Salome stopped, a confused look coming across her face. She had been coming across the Murial Grounds, and she didn't remember seeing anyone that looked like that. There was smoke and fire, but for a couple seconds, she seen through all of that to see him, though he was nothing more than a long trench-coat and then? She heard gunfire. Her mind whited out once more. She was holding a standard Beretta pistol within a Beta-Human training facility. "Very good, TS-23. Reload and continue." "Yes, sir," she simply changed the clip and brought the gun back up. Another target flipping out from the roof as Salome pulled the trigger, whiting out quickly to the inferno before them. She had started to walk forward, even, but only a step or two before she realized what she was doing. Thankfully, Dom had stepped in front of them, trying to talk to the man as Salome simply watched, gathering herself once more as her breath came back all too real in labored gasps with her taking a step back. |

Angel turned her head toward another newcomer, looking him over once to make sure he was alright. A shard of glass winked in his hair, and without a word, she picked it off and tossed it aside. His concern for the welfare of strangers was admirable, most would be simply gawking at this point and taking pictures. Which reminded her... She took out a small cellular device and proceeded to snap shots of the site, saving them to her phone before sending them to her father. Plus, if need be, she could hand over such evidence to the authorities. The android looked over at Dom before she heard the gunfire, it was an odd sound to hear at this time of night. Dom had the right idea, taking cover as bullets zipped the air around them, and she was quick to follow, pulling her hands above her head. "Everyone down!" She shouted, looking up and toward the gunman, frowning a bit at his attire. It reminded her of the trench coats the Germans would wear during their attack on thew Jews. More gunshots, and still the man would not stop, even when Dom shouted. Angel got up and started running toward the one firing. The first shot caught her in the shoulder, jerking her to the right before she shot her arms out to catch him around the waist in a tackle. |

Everyone seemed to have it together…and the Sentai seemed to be the central point everyone was focusing around. Well, it made sense. Sentai tended to have it together…at least they did on TV, and while he prayed this wasn’t a TV stunt, Kale was already wondering if that carried over to real life. Please let the students of this campus have it together…the other side of the coin from the evotelluric incidents he’d helped try and clean up the remainder of. “So what’s—” He paused mid-sentence as someone started to come out of the smoke, heaving a sigh of relief that there was someone alive in there, which mean someone who knew where the wounded were. But before anyone could really react…he’d drawn a gun and started firing. At the sentai. At the crowd. Which included Kale. It was kind of like being caught as a deer in headlights, never having been shot before. There wasn’t much time to focus on it however. Instinct led to muscle movement, and Kale pushed right ahead beside Dom, sliding to a halt and gulping. Probably loudly. It was hard to hear anything over his own heartbeat, “S-Stop! We don’t mean any harm, please, put the gun down and we can see to any wounds and—” That blur rushed by him, and he had to steady himself just as he watched the girl tackle the gunner, his eyes going wide. This wasn’t likely to help any kind of peace…but Kale muttered to the sentai at least before scrambling forward. “Maybe they can’t understand us…” If she had the gunman down, Kale rushed up to kick the gun away, at least to keep hostilities from getting out of control while he tried to look through the smoke as best he could. What exactly…happened here? “HELLO?! IS ANYBODY IN THERE? DO YOU NEED HELP!” |

There was no need to negotiate or fight back against a man that was already showing hostilities, and he didn't seem to listen to anything that the others seemed to have said. The main instinctual reaction would be to run away, rather than run towards him, but Embody simply remained stationary, as though waiting for the man to do something more than just display his tools of violence, heavy with the threat of death. Neither intimidated nor interested, she just had the question lingering in her mind - where exactly did he come from? Even though this kind of scene seemed to warrant a cue for aliens or sci-fi invaders, the man, apart from the pistols, could have very well blended in the streets of Fukuoka. Though there was something old-fashioned about his military-like overcoat, the style and stitching boasted of something from a newer era. He was just a little bit eccentric - although Embody couldn't speak for herself. She was the one wearing a form-fitting body suit. She certainly picked a bad time to go make her landing on the Murial Grounds. That was what one got for sticking their necks out for people, it gave you nothing but trouble. In theory, at least; it wasn't one of her philosophies, but it resonated more with her than being a philanthropist. In the end, she did not take the offensive and joined Star, although Embody was just biding her time, observing what everyone else was doing. Causing a mess was the simplest answer. Was it really a good idea to tackle the stranger and disarm him? Embody watched the scene take place with narrowed eyes. Unfortunately, she was not the one to stop idiots. Although the man was unquestioningly a threat to the campus, she at least wanted to figure out what were his motives in being here. Having no armaments of her own, she simply waited to see what the man wanted - or if he could at least speak conversational Japanese or English. Edited by Naminote, May 2 2012, 06:39 AM.

With Dom taking front, the gunman looked on curiously through his glasses. Salome would join Dom, but like he seemed to not do anything antagonistic toward the gunman. Gun trained on them, gunman would slowly lower his gun. He didn't understand what they were saying (much to Kale's predictions) but he did follow body language well enough. However it was the sudden movements of Angel that forced the gunman to raise his arms once again before being tackled by the girl. His guns slipping out of his hands, he was seemingly defenseless on the ground. If Dom could have stopped his tutor though, he would have. After all it seemed they were getting somewhere with nonaggression. Oh well. Running closer to the fallen duo, he was beaten by Kale who kicked the gun before calling out to the fire. No one would respond to the green haired boy, the gunman seemingly the only from within the wreck still alive if not the only one from the wreck period. Quick to his senses the gunman soon got up, grabbing angel by the arm. Though he was unarmed, he was well trained in close quarters combat. Whoever it was these kids were dealing with, he was very skilled. With Dom coming toward him, the man chucked angel straight at him before rolling on the ground and grabbing one of his guns. Reequipped, he fired a few stray shots in the direction of the others before running off into the night. Dom now on the ground, kindly helped Angel off of him. This was just not his night. Getting up he turned to Star and the others, "We have to follow him, come on!" Whoever this guy was, there was no telling how far he could get given his physical fitness. They needed to hurry if they wanted to stand any chance of getting answers as to what in blue blazes was going on. |

The android made a small "oomp" when she collided with Dom. Angel did not expect to be thrown toward Dom like some toy, but luckily his body was able to break her fall. Nothing too serious, sense none of her pain receptors were flashing any warnings, she quickly got up. Momentarily surprised by the throw, she shook her clothes out. But on Dom's order, she was already running towards their mysterious gunmen. "Should I take to the air and see if I can spot him?" She asked, keeping her pace to match her pupil. Maybe she shouldn't have tackled the man like she did, but he was firing a gun that could have easily killed someone. If he had been shooting off paint balls, things would have been done differently. But gun was made for two things, to shoot and inflict damage. And shooting off as blindly as he did, there had been no other coarse of action. There was no telling what kind of ammo he was packing. "As far as I know, he is a hostile. Proceed with caution." Angel turned her head, calling to those behind her. She scanned their faces to make sure nobody else was hurt before turning her attention back in front. Checking her own person, she remembered the shot that caught her in the shoulder and used her fingers to gingerly pull it out. Still a bit warm, she handed it to Dom as they ran. "Here ya go." As expected, the man wouldn't be held back by two students, though he disarmed them both, and got back his footing with trained efficiency. Even though he got back up with trained efficiency, his handling of the gun seemed frenetic and uncontrolled, or perhaps warning shots. She could feel one of the stray shots travel past her, though he could have just easily aimed the weapon at her. Was he confused, or was he just firing warning shots? The other student's cries did not seem to effect him at all, but he started to escape. She did not follow Dom's orders or heed Angel's advice that he was a hostile, 'proceed with caution'. Embody as deaf to the other student's responses as much as the foreign man in an overcoat, now in motion. How much time had she got left? There was sufficient enough time for her to do it again without too much strain on herself. A distance between the rest of the group and her widened, and then she finally decided it was time. Running, she displayed a small hint of well-hidden athleticism, but she was not running to catch up to the rest of the students. She was running to take off. Already her strange black form was moving and shaping itself to become what she was before - a very strange minimalist aircraft or a bird of some kind, and as the final pound of her foot hitting the ground, the other foot did not follow. She was now hovering up in the air, and with a swift work of her wings, a black form flew past the others and steadily gained on the running man. With his back shown towards her, disarming him should have been simple enough, but the main concern was if she could transform back fast enough so that he didn't have enough time to react. Not to mention that communications wasn't one of her strong points. If someone else managed to catch up to them, then she figured that she could just knock him over, and someone else can take his arm up to the middle of his back so as to restrain him. Now she just had to rely on the others to use their heads, but she gained speed and tried to make the man fall. And if he didn't speak afterwards, he was either mute, truly foreign or had a will that was stronger than hers. |

Just like that, the man was back on his feet and the world was spinning again. So many conflicting emotions in the whole of the group, he couldn’t think to get a read on the situation, but he knew one thing as bullet started to fly. He was scared. Probably the only one, but the male was frightened, bringing up his arms to protect his face as if that would do something to a bullet. It was reflex. Instinct, and while part of instinct was to run. Run as fast as he could, he held his ground. There were others. But when he opened his eyes, the gunman was taking off on a running start, and the crew was in hot pursuit. He could feel their emotions ringing out louder than the shallow breath and the beat of his heart, and he could damn well hear that. Thundering even. But when they left…there was something he wasn’t expecting. The familiar feeling of the absence of others. Not just the group, but when someone was…thinking. Feeling, he could feel that resonant emotion off them, being an empath. This crash was quiet as the grave…and that’s likely exactly what it was. Whatever happened here, it could happen again, and to others. It was probably only a half a minute before Kale joined the pursuit, but long enough to give the others a good lead on him. He wasn’t an athlete anyway. If they expected him to be the one to catch the guy…but damned if he was going to sit by and do nothing. If he couldn’t contact help, maybe he could assist these guys. Maybe if they got hurt, he could help them, or help the gunman if things got to far. No one needed to die today, and Kale was intent on making sure that went through. Life was precious. But only if he could catch up quickly enough…Legs don’t fail me now… |

Angel rushing past her and Dom was a little bit of a surprise to both the Alien Visitor as well as it was to Dom and Star as she watched the gun come back up, ducking a little bit as Kale ran up and kicked the gun out of the man's hand before calling out to whoever may be in the fire. Soon, though, Angel was flipped over and into Dom's direction as Salome rolled out of the way as to not get knocked over by Angel as well before the man picked up one of his guns, turning and firing it toward the group, where Salome leapt, taking cover behind a fallen tree. The gunfire stopped as Salome peaked out from behind her tree as Dom turned to them. Funny, but Dom just asked them all to chase the man with the gun? Star gave him a confused look before running forward in the direction. Maybe this was what Vahn had meant when she was told that she would have to be in a situation that she would have to put others before herself. Though while she was sure that Evy would have something to say on the situation after all of this was done, she started to chase the man. It wasn't that Star was faster than the normal person, but it was the fact that she knew how to run and how to get around certain obstacles. While she was certainly outmatched by Embody turning into what looked like an unmanned drone of sorts as Salome cleared a bench, continuing to give chase to the man as she passed Kale like a bat out of hell, catching up with Dom and Angel, and maybe even pulling ahead of them slightly. She was going to do this. She had assumed that Embody could see the man, and while it was hard to see her, she still could, and Star followed that shape in the night to guide her toward the man. |

What was left to say? Everyone was taking off on Dom's word, and giving chase. However thanks to Angel, Dom didn't exactly leave in the best mind from. Did...did she just hand him the bullets from inside her wounds? The Italian icy nearly gagged before chucking them away. When all this was said and done, he may have to consider finding a new tutor. Or at least finding a way to normalize the one he had. In any event, he was the last to take off following after the others. Thanks to Embody and her flight form, catching the escapee would be rather easy. Flying up above she could spot him with no problem before ultimately descending on top of him and knocking him down. The whole thing had caught the guy by surprise that he was in disbelief; unable to move from sheer bewilderment. It wouldn't be long before the others arrived and once again he was surrounded by the familiar faces. "Now..ugh...let's try that again shall we? Who are you?" Realizing he was in a rather tight predicament, the an lamented and answered back. However the language he was speaking in was one that no one would understand. Whoever it was that called the language barrier, was right. Looking to the others, Dom frowned a bit before sighing. The PLEASED units would take some time to translate an unknown language though perhaps it'd go faster if he were wearing a PLEASED? Taking off his helmet, Dom walked over to the guy and place it on his head. He had a spare PLEASED seeing as he had one built into the helmet but he hoped now things would be sped up. Talking to him once again Dom asked him to speak. The guy now clearly understanding Dom, began ranting; what he was saying still a mystery. However after a few minutes of rambling, the strange language eventually turned into a translation that worked for everyone wearing PLEASED units. "...and then you guys found me. I was scared, so I preemptively took retaliation measures. I'm sorry. " "Well at least we now we can communicate with him", Dom chuckled to the others. Now they just needed him to repeat everything he had said. Though the others probably had some questions of their own they wanted to ask the stranger. |

That wasn't so hard in the end. The man had fallen from her small surprise attack, and she made a sharp turn to land next to him, shifting back into her human form, and dusting herself off from the debris that was caught on her clothing - specks of grey ash and other similar particles. She couldn't tell if Dominic was thankful for her attempts to slow down the man and capture him, but she also wanted answers as well. Unfortunately, she wasn't the type to ask questions. The man also responded to Dom's simple question in a language totally unfamiliar to her, and from how fast his mouth was moving, it seemed like the man had quite a bit to say. Waiting for Dom to approach the man with his helmet, he put the helmet on the man, and after a few exchanges of words between the two, it seemed like Dom and the man were conversing normally, although the man, still continued to talk his mysterious language. Something clicked afterwards, and then the near-seamless translation from her own NuPLEASED device occurred. What she caught didn't sound as though the man had hostile intentions. It had sounded to her that he panicked and just did what he knew - what he was trained to do, perhaps. Though still, she believed that he acted out of fear, as he had said those words from his own lips. There was a number of things that she would have liked to ask him, though she left the questions for everyone else. She wouldn't want to overwhelm the man, although the least she could really do was to ask him his name. Instead, she replied quite formally, "I appreciate your apology." hoping to make the situation slightly less tense. Even though he apologized, he still managed to destroy a large part of the Murial Grounds and send almost everyone running away in terror from the crash of a large object from space. Well, having the Murial Grounds destroyed was nothing new to this school. |

Got no reason, got no shame. Got no family, I can blame.

Almost in no time, they had him surrounded, and the target seemed to accept that. It was better than the alternative playing out in her mind. Most people and animals, when outnumbered, tended to fight back. Luckily, this was not the case. She stood back and watched as Dom approached the other with a PLEASED device, putting it on the frantic man with little to no effort. With the language gap coming to a slow stop, it took but a few moments for it to work. In the end, they were only able to capture the end of his sentence. Coming up beside Dom, she crouched down to look at the man. She took his apology with a small smile and a nod of her head. Looking at him, the android tried to find anything else that might seem... foreign. Most UFOs usually contained extraterrestrials with humanoid appearances, but this one seemed too close to home. Nothing like what she had seen in the movies, or in the top secret files in Roswell New Mexico. Or Star Trek. He just looked human. "Where do you come from? Spain? Italy? You look human to me." Angel said before slowly standing back up and folding her arms across her chest. The point of entry where the bullets had hit were gone, the jelly material of her skin had filled back in, which had stopped them from hitting her more sensitive circuitry. |

Pecking Order~!

Catching the escapee was rather easy. Embody had turned into a plane looking... thing and flew down on him from above before the others could even catch up. He seemed... shocked? Star couldn't really tell. She wasn't tired, but she was catching her breath from the unexpected chase. Dom had come up, with the others, and they all stood around the man, now. Dom had asked a question, and the man had answered. There was just one small problem with that, though- the "language" he spoke in wasn't any recognized on the PLEASED. Salome understood that some lost forms of Magi languages were still being discovered, but this either meant they were discovering a lost language or- OR- he wasn't from this world. Or this time. Realm? Okay. So there were a couple more possibilities than Salome had originally thought about. Dom had a spare PLEASED, and while the man now understood the group, the group would require a couple more minutes of ranting before the PLEASED units as a whole absorbed enough of the language to begin translating the man's voice into a language that Salome understood. She had simply crossed her arms, leaning to one side as she looked over Angel. The girl seemed completely fine, really. It was kind of... creepy in a way. Everyone that she had seen take gunshots before now had at least shown some amount of pain, unless they had the sense of pain turned off. She had seen some things. Once again, though, she shook her head as she realized she was getting sidetracked with her thoughts. "Well, that's a start, right?" Salome responded to Dom with a half smile. She thought of Evy for a moment, thinking of her girlfriend's response to the man's different language. "Whoa! That's soo cool!" with that trademark smile she had come to know over the last couple of months. Oh. Right. Angel was talking. She blinked, listening. If he was from Spain or Italy, wouldn't they had been able to understand him? She was more focused on the fact that Angel was just sitting there poking the gunshot wound like it was nothing. She figured the question she had for the Mystery Man was going to be answered soon, so she spoke to Angel. "Are you okay? Doesn't that hurt?" she asked, pursing her lips a little bit as they frowned slightly. |
