She was done playing around, at least she hoped she was. Gina was sitting in her bed with her fingers slowly moving through his fur, it was the only thing that was calming her nerves. She had been thinking about this ever since she saw him hooked up to the machines in the hospital bed, but she was still trying to figure out what exactly she wanted. And she was still so unsure, but she knew she was done playing around. She took some time earlier in the day and thought about why they didn't work, why she could never stay with him. First she didn't even know they were together and Alex, gods Alex. He managed to get her to fall head over heels in love with him and even though she kept lying and said she was over him she wasn't. But she didn't want to be with him anymore, she had found the hard way that things could never go back to how they were before he was taken from her life. So that factor could be taken out of the equation, which was a big factor....of the times she left Vahn three of them had been because of Alex the other two were well her insanity and she had a firmer grasp on herself than she ever had. And since she came back from Russia she was actually ready to be with someone; fooling around a little with Leo, having a crush on Evy, the meaningless sex she had, she realized how little it all meant in comparison to the time she spent with Vahn. She really did love him, but she had been so scared before and when she came back from Russia she wasn't all there and well she knew why now. She could even feel the void in her soul where the God Killer had feasted from her soul, but she was better now. Gina sighed loudly, she hadn't told him about that yet....she had only told Leo and even though he reacted decently she was sure Vahn wouldn't. He wouldn't care about the circumstance, he would just see it as it was; she had forfeited her life. She hoped he would understand if it came up, she needed him to understand but first she had to get herself to tell him how she felt about him. "So Shadow how badly do ya think this is going to blow up in my face?" She smiled a little as she looked down to the wolf. "Shadow think you should just dos it, 'cause you are being whinny!" Shadow huffed. Gina blinked a couple of times, if Shadow was saying it than well she must be really bad, "Fine, I'll text him now!" She huffed a little before sending out a simple message to Vahn, Hey, I want to talk to you about something, can you swing by th room? And with it sent she sat the phone down and waited. She stayed in her room until she heard the door open or any sign of Vahn. Only then would she leave her room, until then she was mumbling to herself, "I know I was stupid, and I left you and....no...that's bad," she sighed a little bit, "I wish I could go back and take back the things that happened but than I wouldn't know the things I do know, I- Damn..." She looked to Shadow, "this is hard he isn't even here and I can't figure out the words!" "Why you try so hard, just say it or something...humans dumb..." He rolled his eyes before resting his head on her lap, "you want him your mate?" Gina bit her lip, "Maybe...more than I have anyone else, he gets me, he knows the worst things I have done and still cares for me. He saved me from myself more times than I can count and I do love him. He, I just don't know what to tell him...." "Hows 'bout that?" Shadow tilted his head a little, "why has be so hard?" "'cause I don't know what I'll do if he doesn't want to be with me anymore, I mean I hurt him so much..." "You not know 'till you try, and do you want to not know more?" Gina shook her head before pushing herself to her feet, "no..I want to know..." She bit her lip and headed out into the living room once she heard him out there and once she saw him she said, "Hey, you look so much better now..." |

Death was nice and all, but Vahn liked being alive a little bit more. Don't get it wrong, though- Demi was right; it was quiet, peaceful, and partiall relaxing, even with everything that was going on. But at the end of the day, the Anekian Reaper wound up taking the Dragon within his soul, and with that? He had come back from the dead, just like everyone wanted him to. But he was different when he woke up than when he was knocked out. Well, and he was about fifteen pounds lighter and weak. Over the week that followed, with magical treatments and such, Vahn was up and moving by the end of the week, and was dismissed from the Health Labs to everyone's joy and praise. The first thing he would do? Pick back up on his training. Magic was nice and all, but he wanted to actually move around, sweat, and work out, and now was a perfect chance to re-work himself, sort to speak. He started out with his usual work-out, only slightly held back; less weight here, sprinting for a couple seconds less, and less reps. He had to work back up to that level that he was at. His work out was done, and he came across his first human interaction- Salome. It was nice to see she was doing well, and she wanted help with Evy's birthday. Together, the two sat down, and Vahn helped her plan out a surprise birthday party for her Sweet Sixteen, and then Vahn even helped her with her parkour obstacle course. Knowing a little bit more on the Bushido Chambers systems than Star did. After that? It was his job to somehow make a cake. So, he called the one person that he thought would be the best at this sort of thing- Abigail Love. He had partially started everything because of her- his training to master his powers, and then Shadowspire/Beta was on the to-do list. But Vahn didn't think about it. He did wind up helping, though, with the baking, and while everything was going on? He got his first home-cooked awesome meal in over a month. Nothing could beat that. Well, at the moment, nothing could beat Abigail's cooking. He was only sad because he couldn't eat as much as he used to. After that? He went to surprise Evy for her birthday party. That was fun to do- she didn't even know that the Eloc was out of the Health Labs, and she was so excited. Even more excited when she found out that he was taking her to her surprise birthday party, where he found out that Evy was going to the Olympics to play on the soccer team. That whole day went better than expected- he met with old friends, made some new friends, and even had some jasmine tea. Did everything taste better after you died and came back to life? His dojo was still in tip-top condition, thanks to Kanryo and Jiro, and he had a nice long talk with them. While he stepped down from the Head of the Dojo, opting to let the two of them run it, he would still technically be there and help out- he just had to get into the groove of things. He had actually spent the night at his dojo, and in the morning, he was surprised with a visit from his "sister," Hue. He was glad that she was okay, and they even practiced for a little bit, just like they would have before his coma. He had made his way back to the Twin Campus, finding the Bushido Chambers ready for him once more. He had discovered inspiration to expand his knowledge of the Martial Arts even further, and he had found the base of a style that was interesting to him, so he had actually started training with it through the session. It had required a lot more agility than what he was used to, and he was finding out just how out of shape he was at the moment. It was okay, though- it would give him motivation to work back up to his original form before hand. It was wierd, though. Even as he thought about everything that had happened, and even as he had comtemplated the idea of revenge? He had no motivation for it. At all. There was no part of him that even felt an urge to go after Beta-Human once more, or track down Aaron and the Shadowspire organization once again. It's not that he was scared, either. He just... didn't want to. He wanted to be him. Granted if something happened with one of his friends? He would go after them then, but until then? It was letting bygones be bygones. On his way around to pick up all of his homework, though, his cell-phone rang out. Thankfully, he had just picked up the last pile, and even his Bag of Holding was getting a little heavy. He had to find his cell phone in his pocket for a moment, opening it as he clicked the button, looking over his text message. From Silver. Yeah... he knew this day was coming, but he wasn't going to run from it. The thought had been on the back of his mind when he seen Silver at Evy's birthday. He partially knew what it was already about, too, and he got his last folder, and then went on his way. He was going to go back to his room instead of the dojo, seeming as he hadn't been there recently. Coming to his room, he didn't hesistate. Why should he? It was his room just as much as it was Gina's. He had managed to sneak into his room before Gina noticed he was there as he looked around his room. Someone had been in his room. That definitely wasn't how he kept his dresser, and he was sure that he didn't leave a pair of sweat-pants and such on the edge of his bed. His desk was partially messy, too, and he chuckled, setting his bag down before stepping back out. Gina was coming out of her room as Vahn was starting a kettle of jasmine tea. (His new favorite at the moment.) His hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, black as ever, though he did seem a little more pale. A white tanktop, and a pair of black baggy pants with a set of running shoes, with a couple of bandages here and there still, covering the last of his burns and minor wounds that were left. "Thanks," he said without turning around for the moment, filling up the tea kettle and setting it before turning around. His eyes had changed a little bit- not in color or anything, but like he wasn't carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders anymore. "You look better. More relaxed than the last time I seen ya," Vahn grinned a little bit as he walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her and giving her a hug. Granted he wasn't a muscular as he used to be just yet, but it was still a hug from Vahn for the moment. "What did you want to talk about?" he asked, pulling out a chair from the table, spinning it on one leg and sitting on it, using the back as an armrest. |

She looked him over, she could tell the time in the hospital bed had done a toll on him but he still looked good. Actually he always looked good, no matter what had happened. And when he turned around her gaze fell on his eyes, she could see the weight had lifted off of him. Just that made her smile and then he hugged her; it had been a long while since he greeted her with a hug. She wrapped her arms around him and relaxed even more, she always could relax around him. He had always been safe, nothing bad could happen around him, he never hurt her. “Thanks…I was lost, like worse than usual but I found my way to the light on my own this time and well I figured a lot of stuff out. Not being saved this time was the best thing for me,” She smiled as the sound of his heart filled her ears and his scent floated around her, she felt good just being around him like this. She would have been content just being in his arms in a silent room, but he went straight to the point, just like always. And now she had to say it, Gina bit her lip for a moment to steady her self. However when she opened her mouth to speak nothing came out, she felt so nervous and she didn’t know why. It was just Vahn she could tell him anything, but that fear that he would dent her wreaked havoc on her body. She took an unsteady breath, “I wanted to… I wanted to tell you something….I kinda already told you…” Her face flushed red and she swallowed hard, “I…well..I..” Her shoulders fell and she looked away from Vahn, “I am glad you are better, if I had lost you….” Tears welled up in her eyes at that moment and she felt like something was in her throat. She felt like she couldn’t even talk at that moment but somehow she pushed through it, “I wanted to wait until you were all better and everything but I just couldn’t wait anymore and now I can’t even say it.” Gina leaned against the wall and looked to the floor. And then a wolf strolled out of her room and glared at her before walked over to Vahn, “Bacon-man not bad, Shadow no hate you no more,” he nodded a little bit before moving to his food bowl and grabbing a few pieces and once he finished his bit he turned to his pack sister, “not hard now talk or me do it for you, me sick you being whinny.” The wolf magi balked for a moment, “you’re no fair Shadow….” The wolf smiled before taking a few steps over to the couch and jumping up. His eyes moved between Gina and Vahn and he looked accomplished. Gina met eyes with Vahn and tried to open her mouth to say it, after all it was just three one syllable words and it was Vahn but she just couldn’t do it, she was just too afraid. |

"I think everyone winds up lost every once in a while," Vahn told Silver as she hugged him, listening to his heartbeat. "It just takes different amounts of time to find ourselves." He smiled at her before letting her go and flipping the chair around, letting her talk for the moment. It might not have surprised her, but he already knew what she wanted to talk about, even at the start of her stumbling on everything. Still, though, Vahn just sat there with that half-smirk on his face as her own face turned bright red, contrasting against her bright silver hair and her eyes. Her shoulders fell as she looked away from Vahn, who leaned on his arm a little more as she started to cry. He didn't make a noise, but simply sat there and watched her as she leaned against the wall and looked at the floor. He stood up as he made is way over to the Wolf Goddess against the wall, looking into her eyes. "Hey," he called to her. "I have something that I want to say, too," he told her. "I know what you're trying to say. I do, and I know how you feel," Vahn explained to her with a half-smile. "But," he started again, "just me me see if I can explain how I feel first, okay?" he told her with a nod. The tea kettle started to sound off as he turned his head. "Here, let me get that first," he moved over to the stove, taking the squeaking kettle from it, and then pouring it into a mug before mixing the tea together and setting it on the table. Shadow had made his way out since then and told the Eloc that he wasn't hated anymore. Well, that was fair, but apparently the wolf was tired of his sister being whinny about something. "Anywho," he smiled at Gina. "Let me try this really quick," he told her. "I was in a hospital bed for just under a month," Vahn mentioned to her. "During that time... it was weird. A lot of stuff happened, and I had a lot of time to think of everything. I mean everything. How I handled myself, or what I would do if I was ever up and moving again, much less alive," he didn't seem any less wise than the last time they had spoke. In fact, Vahn seemed more wise. "I realized that I was doing a lot of stuff wrong in my life, and that I needed to straighten myself out and all that nice stuff. Relationships being one of them. "Gina, I can't just sit around and wait for stuff to happen for me. I need to go out and just admit stuff, and talk to everyone about everything, and that includes you. Gina," Vahn spoke up. "I love you. I do," he told her. "And I know you love me, too, and that you wanted to try everything- I heard it in the hospital room when you came to visit," he admitted to her. "I thought about a lot, too. Gina, I came to the realization that I love you... but I'm not in love with you." The truth hurt. Especially when it was one that you didn't want to hear, but if Vahn had learned anything, it was that they had to hear it to recover and move past. "You love me at the moment, and you have all of these feelings at the moment because I wound up putting myself in a hospital bed, and I was too prideful to ask for help. You only love me the way you do at the moment because you were afraid that you had lost me," he explained. "And you may not want to hear it, but you have to, and as much as it hurts, it's the truth, Gina," he sighed, looking away from her for a moment, taking a sip of his tea. "But," he announced. "Just give it time, Gina. More than a week after I just got out of a month-long coma. If you still have these feelings for me, then we can see where we can go from there, okay?" he asked her. He hadn't gotten mad, he hadn't screamed, and he hadn't even rose his voice throughout the massive explanation. "Just give yourself time to get used to having me around again, and then we can try if you want to, okay?" Vahn asked her. "Because you love the old me, and I can tell you without a doubt that I have changed since then." |

Gina relaxed a little when he said he knew what she was going to say and he knew how she felt and then there was the but. He wanted to tell her how he felt and her heart sank she knew what was coming. And even though each word hurt she let him finish but that didn’t mean she was going to let it stand there, oh no a month ago she would have walked out that door and did something stupid but something in her changed and well she was going to say her peace. “I see how it looks to you, that I thought you were going to die so that is why I love you but that isn’t the case. Seeing you like that gave me the courage to say it, to tell you how I felt because I didn’t want to lose you without you knowing exactly how I felt. Vahn I love you,” the words left her mouth and she froze for a moment but she forced herself to continue, “When I ended the last bit between us, which wasn’t even a relationship was because I wasn’t right, I felt like something was missing. And it was, but since that moment I went through a lot. “I lost control of my powers, I hurt people, I killed people and when I was at rock bottom I pulled myself out of the hole I dug. And along the way I did some stupid stuff, like trying to get with Alex again and that was the worst mistake I could have made, and then I realized I was attracted to women and had sex with Delise, oh that was a fun night,” Gina smiled a little bit, “Oh course then things got interesting I ended up with a crush on Evy and that went the wrong direction. Through the drama Leo helped me and somehow we ended up fooling around on a resort island and when I got back I ended up in a three way with Delise and some guy I didn’t even know.” She took a deep breath, “Then kids from the future showed up and when future me showed up to collect them she gave me some good advice and I really started to figure myself out, not that any of that is really important.” Gina rubbed the back of her neck, “What matters is that as I was pulling myself out of the hole I was in I realized I never stopped loving you, never, I was just to blind to see it. And now the thing that sucks the most is I am no longer blinded by this world and finally accepted my place here and ready to actually be in love you aren’t. I ruined what was probably the best thing in my life.” Gina smiled weakly, “I didn’t want to ask for anything serious, I just wanted to try. I changed quite a bit too in the last month or so, and I don’t love the old you, I love every version of you there has been. You were the one who was always there for me, who helped me pick up all the pieces every time I fell and broke into a million pieces.” She took a deep steadying breath, “I want to start from square one, maybe try this whole dating thing people keep telling me about, you know go out to dinner, beat the shit out of each other in the chambers, maybe a run in the forest.” Her eyes fell to the floor, “But if you aren’t interested, I understand I hurt you a lot when I was blind and lost. Just know you being in that coma didn’t awaken my feelings for you, there were always there you being hurt like that just gave me the courage to say what I needed to say.” |

Gina spoke up again. She was obviously partially down about it, but Vahn noticed a change. A month ago, she would have been running away, but she had fought through it before speaking, and Vahn could only partially smile as she did so. Even through the admittance of what had happened. Even though she might have been digging her own hole deeper and deeper by telling the love of her life about what she had done when she had hit rock bottom. Like that one time with Delise? It made Vahn raise an eyebrow. Or the fact that she tried getting back with Alex, only to fail and realize it was a crappy mistake. Or the fact that she admitted she was attracted to girls and that developed a crush with Evy, even. Vahn could only lean back as he listened about the drama that Leo had helped her through, only to discover that her and Leo ended up fooling around on a resort island during a vacation, and then, when she got back, round two with Delise and a special guest referee happened.  Then kids from the future showed up, and then Future Silver appeared to collect them, and gave Present Silver some advice and that's what helped to get Silver on the right track, apparently. Gina rubbed the back of her neck, probably realizing that she had been talking this entire time for a moment before continuing on. She was sad that after all this, when she finally realized that she was ready to actually be in love that Vahn wasn't. Apparently, she had changed and everything over the last month, and she wanted to start from square one. Dating and everything. Silver's opinion of a date was interesting, to say the least, as Vahn simply sat there, sipping on his tea. She understood that he had been hurt by her in the past, but she just wanted the Eloc to know that his coma hadn't caused all of this, but rather just gave her the courage in order to admit it in the first place. "Well," Vahn blinked, sipping his tea, having let her finish what she had to say without so much as an angry blink on his side of things. "You have been through a lot," he told her, sipping his tea once more before he continued. "How about we agree that we both hit rock bottom, and both had a pretty decent experience in our own way. I wound up in a coma, and you wound up having a lot of sex," he smiled, joking around with her. Not that the mental image of Delise and Gina together was a bad thing. (He was still a guy, after all.) "Let's give us some time, and start from the beginning of everything, okay?" he asked her, turning to set his cup down, and then turning back to her. "But let me do something really quick," he told her as he leaned in closer. It wasn't like she had anywhere to go; she was pinned against the wall. He leaned in, slowly, pressing his lips against hers as he kissed for just a moment arms running down her side as he pressed into her before pulling back, putting some distance in-between them once more. "I've been waiting to do that since I went into a coma," he told her quietly, kind of forgetting Shadow was there. |

He didn’t seem to get upset after all of that and well the only bad thing she didn’t tell him was well how she almost killed herself but that could come later. “Ya I can agree to that,” she chuckled a little bit, she knew he was joking with her, “I do think I had the better experience with hitting rock bottom,” she smiled a little bit. She smiled even more when he said they could start at the beginning; though she wasn’t exactly sure what the beginning was anymore, her experience with relationships kinda left her confused on that one. But unlike a year ago she would ask, she would find out where that put them, she wasn’t going to mess this up, not like she had. And then confusion hit her, he wanted to do something? What did he want to do? She blinked a couple of times as he leaned in closer to her, and even if she could have moved she wouldn’t have. The moment she felt his lips against her and his arms running down her sides, she felt happy. She smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around him; she didn’t want the kiss to end. She wanted this; the feel of his body against hers, his scent around her, the feel of his lips against hers. She felt a little lost for a moment when he pulled away, she wanted to say something but nothing was coming to mind. She felt speechless but she wasn’t going to let stupid words get in her away. She left her perch on the wall and wrapped her arms around him and said softly, “please tell the beginning includes more things like that,” of course she didn’t stop there, Gina was never one to know when to shut up, like ever, “I figure sex isn’t in the beginning but kisses are…actually what is the beginning, I don’t think I have been in the beginning without knowing it before.” She swallowed hard, “Vahn I don’t want to mess this up again, so what is the beginning?” |

She wrapped her arms around Vahn in front of her, leaning into him as she smiled. Gina spoke as Vahn smirked to himself, only chuckling as she continued talking, asking him about the beginning of the relationship and what it consisted of. Vahn could only laugh for a moment as he pulled Gina's head up, kissing her once more to shut her up. "Well, you see," Vahn smiled to her after the second kiss, "it starts with a date. That could be anything, such as me asking 'Do you want to get food with me sometime?' or 'Let's go out for a drink,' and then you have to agree. After that, we go, have a good time. Usually, I'd end up meeting your parents, but seeming as they both already hate me? I got that covered," he joked with her as he smiled. "And then, I bring you home one day, and yes," Vahn smiled. "That usually leads into other stuff," he said, giving her a quick kiss. "Like kissing and that kind of stuff," he told her. "So, Gina," he pulled back from her. "Do you want to get something to eat with me?" he asked her with a smile. "I was thinking Chinese food sounded pretty good. There's a new buffet that doesn't know who you are yet." |

He kissed her again, sure she figured it was to get her to shut up but she didn’t care. If all she had to do was ramble to get him to kiss then maybe she would ramble a little bit more often. She honestly felt happy just being close to him and him kissing her was amazing. She had feared the worst and well it turned out a lot better than she thought it could, this was everything she wanted at the moment. Especially with what the beginning sounded like, they had tried time and again to just jump back where they were the last time they were together and it always blew up. Maybe things could actually work out this time. “Well I am still in my ‘I hate my father phase’ and I don’t think he hates you, that might be a strong word. And well my mother doesn’t hate you….no hate the wrong word there,” Gina chuckled a little bit, “but I have always hated her so that really doesn’t matter anyway….” She really liked him smiling, she was sure she hadn’t seen him smile this much in so long. “Well I think the beginning stuff sounds like quite a bit of fun, maybe it is a really bad thing that it seemed to always be skipped,” she smiled as she looked up to him, things seemed so good. And he kept kissing her, “well so long as I keep getting kisses and hugs, and just being around you I’ll be happy.” Gina honestly didn’t think it could get any better, of course than Vahn brought up food and from a buffet that didn’t know her! Gina smiled brightly and broke away from the embrace before wrapping her hand around his arm, “There is a buffet that doesn’t know me!?! Why are we still here!” Gina bounced a little bit, “You know I always want food!” |

"Well, I don't know," he laughed. "Just let me get cleaned up really quick, and then we'll go out and get something to eat," Vahn told Silver as he kissed her quickly one last time and then moved into his room, closing the door for a moment. He decided that he was going to take a quick shower, seeming as he hadn't taken an actual shower in a while. The warm water felt great, but he made it quick, seeming as Silver was waiting for him. Coming out of his room, he had changed into normal clothes. He had homework, but it could wait for a moment while he got lunch with his new girlfriend. Coming out, Vahn was dressed as normal, with a pair of baggy pants, a normal set of boots, a tank top, and a zip-up sweat-shirt. His hair was untied, now, as his orange eyes cam across Silver as he walked over, surprising her with a kiss before leading her out of the room. A tram ride away, Vahn looked over for his motorcycle before realizing that it was still where he had left it before he got blown across the lake, which meant that he probably didn't have a motorcycle anymore. No matter- they could simply walk down the street to the place. He made it to the restaurant quickly enough, and Silver had kept up as he held the down open, paid for the table, and then set Silver loose on the buffet. It was really funny, though, the Eloc with his one plate, and then Silver with hers, completely stockpiled. "Silver, it's not like we have anywhere else to be," he joked with her. "So... what happened when I was in the coma?" Vahn asked curiously. |

She was all smiles; they were going out to a buffet that didn’t know her! She couldn’t help but think of all the food she would be eating! He wanted to get cleaned up and well she didn’t really mind, it just meant she would have to be all patient and stuff for a little bit. Though the kiss before he disappeared into his room was a welcome, she couldn’t help but smile as she plopped on the couch next to Shadow. She had hoped for the best when she sent the text but part of her had been so sure that Vahn would out right reject her and he sorta did but then he didn’t… Wait…”Shadow did I say something right for once?” Gina blinked for a moment as the wolf simply snickered. The wolf laid his head in her lap and she simply scratched him behind the ears, “Actually I don’t care how this worked out, I think I am just going to enjoy it. Something is working out right; all I have to do is not screw it up….” She took a deep breath, she wasn’t sure if she could manage that one for very long but she was sure as hell going to try. Gina could hear the shower and before too long he was ready to go; he was in his normal attire and as he walked over she moved to her feet before giving Shadow one last scratch behind the ears. And to her pleasant surprise he kissed her before leading her out of the room. She was really enjoying the kisses, sure part of her wanted very much to say screw the food and stay here but that wouldn’t be starting a relationship from the beginning…..and then a thought hit her….very the beginning…no sex…and loyalties… well she went 5 years without sex in the sprit realm and months before that, so she could get through this no problem…. She pushed the thoughts of sex out of her mind and simply moved her hand in his as they walked to the tram. The ride there was quiet and peaceful and well once they were off the tram she noticed him look for the motorcycle, and when he came up empty handed she came to the same conclusion he did. Though being in a coma for a month kinda made it vanish, not that they needed something to ride on to get to the restaurant. No they could walk and of course Gina stole his hand once more, she didn’t understand why she didn’t enjoy the simple touch of his before. Of course the moment they were through the door of the restaurant Gina stopped thinking entirely, she bolted for the buffet and quickly covered a plate with food. Hell she only got through half the buffet before heading back to the table; after all it was a new restaurant she had to have a serving of everything they offered. How else was she going to figure out what her favorites here were? Sure she would love it all she was sure, she loved all food! Hell she already shoveled some in her mouth before sitting down, she looked to Vahn with a sheepish look, “I could have put more on here,” she shifted her gaze for a moment before sitting down at the table. His question caused her to pause in her attempt to shovel more food into her mouth, “quite a bit, I am not exactly sure when you feel into the coma but if I had to guess it was sometime around the time I decided to give up alcohol. You were always gone trying to take out the bad guys so I am not sure when you got hurt like you did, but on the 7th I went to Leo’s party and well he picked up on how stressed I was and kidnapped me. I woke up on a plan heading to a resort; we were there for a week. I hunted a crocodile! And that was also where we kind of fooled around a little bit,” Gina blushed a little bit before taking a few bites of her food, “it was really only because I kinda wanted sex, I had no interest in him in any other way, kinda like how it was for Delise. All I was looking for was sex but it was still wrong because Leo has Calvin. Not that, that was what you meant…” she coughed a little bit, “but ya I told you about the three way and then my kids from the future showed up. That was a pain in the ass, I never knew five year olds were so full of energy. That one ended with future Bravvaker showing up and causing trouble before future me and future you showed up and put an end to her reign.” Gina took a few more bites, “umm…other than that it was pretty quiet..oh! While you were still in the hospital but not in the coma there was a huge body switch thing going on. I ended up in some girl named Autisn’s body and Leo ended up in my body. Star was even involved in that one,” Gina chuckled, “she got stuck in Renarde’s body, that on was pretty crazy.” Gina chuckled a little more, “Craziness but no end of the world craziness or my usual brand of craziness.” |

Surprisingly enough, the restaurant had done something that Vahn hadn't noticed- they had already refilled the buffet, shuffling quickly to replace what Silver had taken from the line before she sat down. Vahn smiled, thanking the waitress as she brought out water for Vahn and whatever Silver had wanted to drink as well. His question had interupted the fact that she had almost tilted her head back to shovel everything into her mouth, Vahn blinking as he smiled. "Like I said," he told her. "No rush. Just slow down and enjoy the food," he chuckled a little bit as she started telling the story. Well, Vahn knew a lot could happen in a month. Hell, a lot of stuff could happen in a day in the modern world where Evotelluric and Magi existed, and sometimes, Magi could actually move back time in order to make more stuff happen. She wasn't sure when Vahn was put into the coma in the first place, but Vahn didn't care to think about it too much. She went to Leo's party, and he picked up on how stressed she was, so he kidnapped her? That seems like a weird way to handle a situation, and he didn't imagine Silver was too happy, initially, about going to the resort with Leo, but apparently she had a really good time. She even fooled around with Leo, and while hearing that kind of thing wasn't easy, it's not like Vahn was there, much less in a relationship with Silver at the moment to prevent any of this. The next one her heard about was the fact that apparently the three way between her and Delise, and she didn't know the name of the guy, either. That was a little disheartening, but then again, Vahn wasn't around, so it's not like he could be mad about anything that had happened between Silver and anyone else. The last thing that she spoke of was an incident where their future children (meaning more than one) came to the past and possibly fucked over a complete timeline by disclosing information to Silver. But Future Bravakker had shown up, and apparently, so did Future Silver and Future himself as well, ending Bravvakker. It made him question what kind of person he was going to be in the future, and how far into the future that was in the first place. A few more bites, Vahn chuckled. "Well, it figures that all of the fun stuff happens when I'm in a coma," he mused with a little bit of a smirk, taking a sip of his water and eating some of his food via chopsticks. Another event that she had remembered was that a massive body switch had happened, where everyone had been body swapped, even Star. Thankfully, Vahn had missed that one, and he felt partially sorry for Star having to walk around in Renarde's body. He had heard rumors about the kitsune, and none of them were good. "So nothing out of the norm, right?" Vahn finished his plate about the same time Gina did, and she had four times the food he did. Still, though, he didn't mind. He hadn't really been as hungry since he came out of the coma. Hospital food probably did that. "Everything's okay now, though, right? I don't have to whip anyone's ass?" Vahn made sure. It's not like he was going to do that, and for a moment, he was contemplating the fact of why he had even said that in the first place. It was weird... at the moment? He didn't feel like kicking anyone's ass. Not even Beta-Human's, and they were the reason he was out of commission for the month in the first place. |

“I am enjoying it….” She said with a slight head tilt before taking another big bite of food, she was really enjoying the food and she picked up on the fact Vahn wasn’t eating nowhere near as much as she was, She thought it was strange though being in a bed for so long might have something to do with it and well she also ate a lot more than a human. So, she decided to simply say nothing on the matter, she normally ate more than he did. “Not really, and everything I more than okay,” she smiled softly, “And unless you want to kick someone’s ass I don’t think you really have to. Though I would prefer you didn’t kick anyone’s ass, I mean anyone who deserved it already got it.” Gina took a few more bites of her food and of course she felt like she was hiding something from Vahn and it kinda sucked. Though she managed to hide something from him for 6-8 months, but she really wanted this to work and secrets were going to get her nowhere. “Vahn I need to tell you something, well two things and I doubt you’ll like either. Though you handled what became of my love life rather well so maybe it won’t be so bad,” She bit her lip for a moment and picked up her glass of juice, “First off, you remember when you guys came to the spirit realm and all the fun happened? And I ended up coming home? Well that shouldn’t have happened and only did because I made a deal with Odin, I have to give him a year of my life at anytime. He said it could come during any time of my mortal life, though considering I will live forever or at least until my mortal body dies….but I won’t age….” Gina took another drink of her juice, “I don’t know what it will entail and I pretty much thought it wouldn’t happen in any of your guys’ life times, so I didn’t say anything. I didn’t want to worry any of you.” She paused for a moment, “It gets worse….” She looked down to her hands, “I tried to end my life, it was a day or so after I arrived in Russia. I was so upset and being there wasn’t helping, I wandered deep in the woods and found this weird temple which had something called a god killer in it,” Gina felt her fists clench, “I don’t know what happened, I went in there and became memorized by the man and he got me to pretty much tell him to take my life. I don’t understand it but it happened, Fang saved me and nursed me back to health for three weeks in the spirit realm. I-” Gina felt her throat clench, “I didn’t have memory of it until the incident with Aaron, apparently Fang put up a barrier up in my mind so it wouldn’t haunt me and inserted other memories and it is still really fuzzy. It is why I thought I was gone for a whole month when I was only there for a week. The creature feed on my soul starting with my sorrow, which was one of the big reasons I wasn’t quite right when you found me, I hadn’t quite recovered from the encounter.” The wolf magi looked up and met his gaze, “I am telling you this all because I love you and I want this to work, I don’t want to hide anything from you ever again. I don’t want any secrets; I don’t want you to stumble onto anything without me telling you first. I don’t want anything stupid to happen like it normally does. So….I hope this doesn’t make you hate me.” She looked rather sheepish at the moment and well she hated herself for almost killing herself. |

There was some other stuff, though, that Silver had to mention. The first was that when Evy and Vahn had went to Russia to find her. How could he not remember, though- thanks to her sister, it was a really interesting experience over the course of three days where he thought that he had caused the death of his girlfriend at the time. And then? He was thrown into the Realm of Spirits in order to save her. But in the end, apparently, she had made a deal with the Norse God Odin in order to come back. She would have to give a year of her life in order to serve him. He could call upon that year at any time, and she didn't want to worry anyone by telling them when there could be the possibility of it not happening in their lifetime. The second? Well, it was right after his interesting trip through his father's memories of Anek, and he had went from airport to airport. Apparently, she had went to Russia to end her life, and wandered into the Realm of Spirits, where she found a temple that held something called a Godkiller. He had seen a similar being, known as a Godslayer, which was what caused the destruction of Anek, so he assumed that it was related to what Gina was talking about. Apprently, though, she had become mezmerized by the beast to the point that it had convinced him to take her life. Thankfully, though, Fang had saved her and brought her back to health. The creature fed on sorrow, which sounded exactly the same to Anek's Godslayer. Maybe it was one in the same, but it did explain Gina's anti-social attitude when he had finally made it to the village in Siberia. She had told him all of this, though, in the hopes that she didn't want to hide anything from him, and she wanted them to actually work this time, which made Vahn smirk a little. He didn't say anything. Was he disappointed? Of course he was, but he didn't so it at all. All he did was stand up, reach over, and pat her on the head, rustling her hair a little bit. "Let's get more food, eh?" he asked calmly, walking over to the food once more. He decided to get some more meat than he did the last time, but the dumplings were amazing, so he fit a couple on his plate, too, before making it back to the table, sitting down, and waiting for Silver to sit back down. "You know, there was a time that I would have been mad. Screaming, even, but I've learned something over the last little bit. Life is short. While I am a little disappointed in the fact it happened, you're still here. We're still here, and we learn from our past instead of just making the same mistakes over and over again," he told her calmly as he took a bite of his lo mein. "We've all made mistakes, and they suck. For now? Let's not think about that. Let's just enjoy each other's company and be happy for a change, eh?" he asked her, hoping she would understand. |

He smirked a little bit which confused her, she didn’t get it. She had hoped that he would accept her still and not hate her but after all the lucky breaks she had gotten so far today she wasn’t really expecting much. She watched him stand up and pat her on the head and rustled her hair a little bit. When he finally spoke he seemed so calm and moved to get more food. Gina could and would never say no to food so of course she made her way to her feet and over to the buffet. She wasn’t even paying attention to the food she piled on her plate, after all it was all amazing so she couldn’t go wrong. By the time she made it to the table her plate was overflowing with food, as per usual in a buffet. She sat down slowly and simply waited for him to explode, she didn’t want it to happen but she expected it. And when he opened his mouth she heard the sound of his voice and it was still calm. She was overly confused at that moment but she was thankful for him at least being calm. He was disappointed that it had happened but he didn’t hate her for it. He wanted just to enjoy the time they had together. Gina simply smiled and actually moved away from the table and walked over to him. He had kissed her more times then she could count already and he just gave her the biggest gift he could at that moment, and well she did just want to kiss him. Gina waited until he wasn’t eating anything and kissed him gently for a couple of moments and when she pulled away she simply said, “thank you,” her eyes were a little watery as she made her way back to her chair and once she was sitting again she added, “I hate myself for what happened and well the whole not hating me and not yelling means a lot. I do just want to enjoy every moment I can with you.” |

She waited until he didn't have any food in his face before she leaned over and pushed their lips together once more. For those moments, it didn't matter they were in the middle of a restaurant, or the fact that everything had happened like that in the last month or so. All that mattered was them, and the fact that they were happy at this moment. All of the failures, and all of the success that they experienced lead them to this moment, right here, right now in this unnamed Chinese Buffet where they had decided to start from scratch once more. This time, though, both were serious about actually trying. "Thank you," Silver whispered as she seemed to have a tear running down her face, but she was smiling. "No problem," Vahn smiled a little bit as she sat down. "I'm sorry for everything that happened, and that I wasn't there to help you through those situations," he told her. "I'll try my hardest to be there for you in the future, and that's really all I can do. No hunting down Shadowspire unless we have to. Same goes for Beta and anything else that happens, okay?" he asked her to make sure that it was okay with her. After everything had wrapped up at the buffet and Vahn had paid for the both of them, with an extra tip to compensate a little bit better for the amount of food they had actually ate, the Eloc smiled. "You okay?" he asked calmly. "I just want to make sure," he stopped for the moment. He truly wanted to make sure- she had been through a lot more than he had in the last little bit, and he felt kind of guilty that he wasn't there for her, so it was the least that he could do to actually make sure she was okay. |

In this situation shell shocked was an understatement, Vahn apologized for not being there and he was going to be there from now on….and he was done fighting the evil organizations that ruled their lives. Gina blinked for a couple of moments and simply took another bite of food, he had been right, he had changed. Not that she minded, not worrying about him out there in needless fights would make her overly happy but it was surprising to hear him say that. And then he added on an okay? Was he asking her if that was okay? Did he really care if she that it was fine….What was she supposed to say to that, was it a trap? It could be a trap…. Well then she would fall into the trap either way why not be completely honest, “I am glad you are done fighting them or at least like you were, I was always so worried about you. I never knew if you were going to come home and well hearing you are down with that makes me happy. And you were always there for me when I really needed you, this last month or so I needed to hit rock bottom, I needed to learn some things about myself. Now I know who I am, what I can handle and what I really want.” Gina chuckled a little bit, “Maybe I’ll start going to classes again, though I still don’t see a point to it….” When everything was eaten and they both had their fill, which was quite a lot. She wouldn’t be surprised if they thought there was no way someone her size could eat though so much food. But she did that to all buffets, honestly they never knew what was coming their way until she left. The food had been amazing and well maybe this would be her new favorite place to eat…she was sure they would love that. On the way out Vahn asked her if she was okay and all she did was smile before moving close to him and moving on her tippy toes. She wasted no time in kissing him, her arms wrapped around him for a moment and when she pulled away from the kiss she rested her head on his chest. “I am now,” after about a second she moved away a little bit and grabbed his hand with her own before getting pulling on him, “So…are you already bored or do you want to find another fun thing to do?” |

Vahn smiled a little bit at Gina as he looked over her admitting that she had learned some things about herself as well without him being there. She may have even started making a decision to go back to classes, though she didn't see the point. "Well, classes are so you can learn," the Eloc nodded as they walked out of the buffet. "It's about stuff that we wouldn't normally learn. History, different kinds of magic and everything else," Vahn explained before she had moved closer to him, kissing him and grabbing his hands, answering his question before returning one of her own. "Well," Vahn sighed. "I do have other stuff to do," he admitted. "A months worth oh homework that all of the teachers are letting me catch up on because of the incident is sitting in my room waiting for me, though I'd be lying if I said that I actually had any form of motivation to do it all," he smiled as he looked over Silver. She seemed so happy just being around him again, and something about that smile, hopefully, said that it would actually work out a lot better than it had in the past. As long as she didn't go around, having sex with other people behind his back, or try fleeing to Alex again, though Vahn sensed with his new outlook on things that maybe he wouldn't be so quick to push her away. He had to comtemplate, though, if he still truly loved her. He quickly dismissed the thought, though- none of that for him at the moment. For now? They were dating, like normal people in a normal world would do, and they would see if they actually loved each other, or if it was time to truly move on. Vahn did have to ask himself about the future children, though. That meant that sometime in the future, Silver and himself had a set of kids, right? It lieft him with a lot to think about on top of all of the other stuff he had to think about, between homework and still adjusting to normal life outside of a hospital bed. "But," he smiled. "I think I can manage to buy someone a cone of ice cream as long as they saved a little room for some dessert," Vahn chimed to her with a smirk on his face, noting an ice cream shop had just opened up down the street. Even just one month away, there were new signs, new shops, and even more construction around the area that Vahn hadn't even seen before his... accident. In a sense of paranoia, or some form of habit, though, Vahn looked around, trying to scout out something that wasn't there- Beta Human. No. Just... noises... and a rooftop air conditioner kicking on somewhere. Nothing... to fear... |

“I know classes are for you to learn but isn’t so people can have a career and get money? I have a successful club and the skills to start another one if I had to, I have ties to an influential wolf pack in Siberia and the ability to work in the military or police force in that country if I so chose. Hell I could live in the wilderness without need for money. And the things they want to teach me makes no sense; when am I going to need Algebra 2 or write long stupid papers, or even things that happened hundreds of years ago. And the other stuff I can learn on my own, I just don’t see the real point, but I find I have free time so I would go back to taking classes to fill the time.” Gina shrugged a little bit, “Well I could at least try, what is the worst that could happen? I skip out of all my classes again?” She was still smiling; the warmth in her chest from just holding his hand as they walked kept that smiled plastered on her face. She hadn’t felt that warmth in so long, everything lately, as in since she came back from the Spirit Realm, had been so wrong. She never let herself get close to Vahn like she had before she ran off with Alex and well when Alex came back she never got the chance try and get close to him. She didn’t understand it but this made her happier then she had been with someone in this sort of situation. Hell she was sure this was the happiest she had been in general in a long time, which gave her a pang of fear. What if this was taken from her again, what if it turned out Vahn didn’t love her anymore or even worse she didn’t love him anymore. Then this feeling would be gone and she would be sad again…she didn’t want that anymore, she wanted to be with him like they were before Alex ever entered her life. And given she was more likely to kick him in the nuts then want to be with him now, she was sure she would never try to run to him again. But what if something else happened, even if it was something as simple as not being compatible like they were so long ago….Gina took a deep breath, she wasn’t going to think about that, no she was just going to enjoy the moment. Enjoy the happiness the feeling o f his scent around her, the warmth of his hand in hers, the feeling of his lips against hers, the warmth in her chest just being near him. That was all she wanted at the moment, to be happy, to not worry about the might’s and might not’s. So the wolf magi with her decision simply smiled as he spoke of his homework, “well I can keep you company and try not to distract you, we do share a dorm still. And when you need a break we could find something to do, though if you aren’t up for that I could just let you be and find something to do while you do boring school work.” She grinned a little bit before chuckling, “it has been awhile since I had a good training session, though keeping you company would be more fun,” she shrugged, “I’ll leave that to you, you seem to want the classes.” She realized she managed to talk herself into a circle but well he brought up ice cream and she smiled brightly, “you do know who you are talking to right? I can always eat.” Vahn was scouting around out of habit; Gina on the other hand had this area memorized like the rest of the city. She had a mental map hard wired in her head with how much time she spent in the city now, and how much shit had happened to her in the city. Now she didn’t have to look to know where things where and well to find out if anyone was around her all she had to do was listen for things out of the ordinary, catch a strange scent or movement that shouldn’t be there. No, Gina didn’t consider herself paranoid, simply ready for shit to go down at any moment and even this happy moment part of her was paying attention to her surroundings even if it was a part of her in the background. The things one did without noticing…. |

Right. Ice cream. He moved up the sidewalk a little bit, and then across the crosswalk to get over to the shop, where they had to wait for a moment before they got up. "Well, it is a lot of homework," he told her after they had ordered, but before they had received their ice cream. "Four advanced classes that I've missed out for a month, and Yuziyama is unrelenting. I'm not back up to one-hundred precent yet," he admitted as they got the ice cream- Gina what she ordered, and Vahn with his vanilla milkshake. He took a sip, left a tip, and then started walking back down the sidewalk, talking to Gina. "You'll have to give me a little bit before I'm up to a sparring match with you, Gina," he told her in between sips on his milkshake. "How's the ice cream?" Little chatter covered the tram ride, along with some cuddling, and maybe a kiss here and there. She tasted like her ice cream now, though Vahn didn't mind. They got off on the other side, walking back to their room as he opened the doors for her and such, setting his milkshake down as he went to grab his bag, looking back to Gina as he sighed, looking between the massive amount of homework and the living room before he decided on a compromise of sorts. Bringing his bag out to the living room, he set his bag at the table, shuffling through it for a moment. "If I can't cuddle with ya on the couch or anything, the least I can do is watch some television with ya. Turn something on," he smiled, pulling out his first book. |

“A lot of homework? Well I have sat through things that were more boring, like a basic English course in some city in Britain, Gods that was boring…. ” She smirked a little bit, “I am sure your advanced classes aren’t nearly so bad and to continue to enjoy the day with you I think I can stand to give you company.” Gina took her ice cream without a thought and took a bite as he spoke of a sparring match, “I more meant finding my father for a bit of training if you wanted to do your homework alone,” Gina fidgeted a little bit, “I haven’t been sparring against anything besides computer programs as of late, I am a little nervous about it. I had a power spike, well not so much that as losing myself to my instincts about two months ago I think I told you about it. I kinda am still struggling with that one and computer programs don’t trigger it.” She smiled a little bit, “though when you up for it I would love to spar with you, you’re the only one I know of that I can’t best in a fight, I look forward to you kicking my ass,” she chuckled a little bit as she went back to eating her ice cream. She didn’t quite realize how long she had been avoiding sparing with people until that moment and well that was something she was going to have to change, she needed to get back to fighting real people. No matter what people said the computer programs were nothing like the real thing. Before too long they were back on the tram and compared to the ride out to the city this was so much better. They talked a little bit and cuddled and there was even a couple of kisses, she was really enjoying her time with Vahn and she was glad it didn’t have to end when they got to the dorms. She didn’t quite understand why he kept opening doors for her but she didn’t say anything about it, she was perfectly fine with him doing whatever he wanted to do. Though let the record state…She could open her own doors…. Once in the room Vahn grabbed his bag and took it all to the table before telling her to throw something on the tv, “I can do that,” she smiled softly before grabbing the tv remote and flipping to a random channel with some sort of anime show or another. She could tell he was already hard at work with his studies, something she was sure she would never understand, and she was lounging on the couch with a wolf cuddling up to her. You see Shadow had spent the time running out in the hot sun and his fur had the nice sun baked smell and decently worn out from his endeavors but even with being a little tired he could still tell his pack sister was happy, which made him happy….he didn’t have to listen to her whine anymore. |
