Weeks had passed since the fivesome had been chosen by the stars to become the new protectors of Earth. Since that day they would fight a different monster of the week, trying to prove to Qui-Yue that she was not going to win. And fight they would for however long it takes; learning to use different weapons and abilities to defend those in harms way of the maniacal witch. Currently, the five however would find themselves relaxing in Enso; fresh off the heels of a fight with the weird goons in tuxedos they knew all too well. The place was packed with fellow students, and the TV's on the walls displayed footage of their recent victories. While their peers would never know and could never know that they were sitting next to the heroes on screen, it was still something of a marvel. "Hey Ernie? Can I get another batch of wings for me and the fella's? Seems we're hungrier than we thought," Dom said with a laugh. "Sure, be out soon," said Ernie from behind the counter. Ernie himself was fairly average in height and was in his mid 30's. A tuft of brown hair on his head, he was also a bit rotund as well. Wearing a hawaiin shirt, he waved to the fellas Dom referred to before putting the order in with the girls in the back. With that in place Dom eagerly began to make his way back to the table when he sort of collided into someone. Seriously, he needed to stop doing this. At least he didn't have food in his hands or anything but still! Extending his hand to help the fellow up, Dom decided to introduce himself since he didn't know the guy. "Sorry bout that! I'm such a klutz", he said with a laugh. "I'm Dom by the way", smile brimming from ear to ear. |

He didn't really come here much, actually. Most of his food was ordered in. However, today he'd decided to break with his routine and head into the cafe called Enso, maybe sample some new food, who knew? So there he sat with a plate full of food from various parts of the world, all of it mostly untouched. Perhaps this had been a mistake. He hated to waste all of this food, but it didn't seem he was going to be able to finish all of it before he left. So, he got his tray and was heading for a trash can... When someone bumped into him from behind. Luck or fate kept him from spilling everything on the floor. He managed to deposit the things on his tray in the garbage before he hit the ground. Well, that was a one-in-a-million thing to have happen, but at least he wasn't covered in Thai food. Shaking his head, he turned to look at the person who had bumped him. It was someone he'd been around the campus before, but not a person he'd ever formally introduced himself to. His name was apparently Dom. Was that short for something? He didn't know. Well, the only way to know was to ask. "Er...Takahiro," he said, accepting the other guy's hand and using the extra leverage to pull himself back to his feet. "And don't worry about it, Dom-san...it looks like there's no mess...are you okay, though?" |

Another week, another bunch of goons knocked down. Chris watched some of the footage of the team's heroics, then said, "Maybe I should form my own Ranger team some day. Maybe something like 'Ryuujin Sentai Dracoranger' or something like that." This wasn't purely an act to mask the fact that he was already on the team that was being shown, but mostly an excuse to get a bunch of other students to take lessons with him. Of course, something more worthy of his attention soon came up, as Dom ran into another student and knocked out his food tray. The other student probably had no chance of saving his food, but he managed to keep it from being a mess, sending it relatively cleanly into the trash can. It wasn't until the young man introduced himself that Chris decided to get involved, only if because they've met at least once before. Chris waved his hand up in the air and called out, "Oh, hey there, Hiro!" |

So fighting weird creatures was starting to become less weird for the drunken demon and as he fought he slowly began to forget about the skirt; alcohol helped. He was the only one of them to fight drunk too, it made him laugh. He didn't care what people thought about it, hell he fought better drunk. Didn't make too much sense but whatever they could deal with it, at least he didn't shoot them in the back yet. He was a social creature so eating with the 'team' was fine with him, it was just a pain not to flirt with them all, I mean come on they were all rather cute in their own way. Now he had two reasons to not flirt; first they fought together so even if it went anywhere it was sure to stab him in the back, you don't fuck where you eat, or something like that, he knew there was a saying about it but he couldn't remember at the moment; a couple of shots made it hard to think sometimes. The second reason was a couple of the guys looked like they could snap him in half and he wasn't quite sure how they would react, and Jack liked NOT being hit. So he keep his mouth shut most of the time. Today in the cafe Jack was sipping on a jack and coke while they munched on wings. Like a normal leader Dom took charge the moment the wings were all eaten and went to order more and as he headed back he bumped into someone. Jack didn't care, it wasn't his job to run to his leader's aid, he could take care of it; he was a big boy. If a fight broke out he would run into help. |

This wasn't quite Konrad's idea of a good time. Not that he disliked their company. Not at all. Even though the only thing they really had in common was fighting, a task Konrad took little pleasure in, he still appreciated being a member of a team again, fighting for justice. It was a sense of belonging he had not felt in ages. Literally, in his case. However, all this lounging did not suit him. And this food! Well, it was so decadent! Unbefitting a knight of the cloth. Still, this is what the team was doing. It had become ritual, even. And so Konrad went along with it. He had a great many good qualities, but exercising free will wasn't usually one of them. Dom had just ordered another round of 'hot wings'. Konrad assumed they were chicken wings. They weren't greasy enough to be duck wings. All this ready-made, deep fried food of the modern age often left him a bit uneasy in all kinds of ways. And they were so very salty. He had not wanted for a good beer in some time. Sadly, even on Sunday, the laws of man here stated the legal drinking age was twenty and no less, so he begrudgingly obliged. His leader had proven capable enough, though a bit too casual for Konrad's liking. Still, it wasn't his place to criticize. Not even when he absentmindedly bumped into another student. Not even when he knocked all his food into the garbage. Nope. Not a word. He wasn't going to say a word. Not his place. Let Dom handle his own affairs. It's not like it was going to get violent. He certainly hoped not, anyways. There had been enough fighting for the day as it was! |

Vahn, needless to say, wasn't there at the Enso right away. He still had a normal life to maintain. He still had school, training, and taking care of some of the other students in terms of giving them tips here and there. Anything that Vahn could help with. From "turn your hips toward your opponent- it'll increase the power in your contact," to "throw your weight behind your arm thrust. It'll speed up your fireball that much more," Vahn tried to apply his knowledge of Martial Arts and the physical body to help children and teens control their powers. It was a normal thing for Vahn to at least try his hand, even though he wasn't teaching kids his own powers. Those were his unique powers, and his alone. If anyone tried to copy them? They could go right ahead, but as far as Vahn knew, he was the only person that could manipulate energy the way he could. The other being Yuki, who did it in a completely different sense with a completely different objective. It's what Vahn was doing before he was on his way to the Cafe to meet the others in his group. They had been busy, wiping the ground with Qui Yue's monsters that the old sorcerer had sent at them. The Eloc was caught, before going on the way to a meeting, by the tuxedo-clad goons that opposed them up here and there to try to catch them off guard. After his meeting, Vahn made his way to the Cafe, coming through the door as he looked to Dom talking to someone and everyone else sitting at a table. He didn't know that Dom had knocked the other guy over. He wasn't there for that. The Eloc waved with a simple hello to the group as he pulled up a chair, spinning it from another table as he looked up to a television to watch himself throw a goon into a wall, though a lot of the shots were of the other Rangers around the table. Vahn chuckled, though. It was probably better off that people didn't know who they were. |

"Oh I'm fine. Taken worse", (Insert Zing here) he said with a laugh. Though he did still feel bad about bumping into Takahiro like that. So much so he sort of insisted that the guy join him and the others. And with Chris calling out to Takihiro, Dom found it more than suitable seeing as the two knew each other...or so he just assumed. Taking Takahiro by the arm, Dom ushered him to the others. "Come on Tak!" To his surprise, Vahn was sitting there watching the TV screen. When did he sneak in? "Oh hey Vahn", Dom said with a wave. "Everyone, this is Takahiro. Takahiro...the fellas! Er...Vahn, Chris, Jack, and Konrad", Dom said pointing to each person corresponding with the proper name. Taking a seat back at the table, Dom was pleased to see one of the waitresses coming with more wings. While he would have preferred cheese fries, wings were certainly a pleasant alternative! Diving into the plate, Dom was quick to take a few bites as he once again set his sights on the TV where the Dairanger footage was playing. However after a few more minutes of chatting with each other, eating, or just watching the tv's...something happened. Enso began to shake violently, dust and small traces of debris falling from the ceiling. It was an earthquake! Caught completely unawares everyone was in a panic. Everyone needed to get to safety. Whether it be under a table or against an interior wall, everyone needed to move. If they weren't careful they could get hit with bigger chunks of debris due to the tremor intensifying! |

A fight didn't brake out, so Jack leaned against the table and watched his 'leader's' back and of course stared at the waitress that was on her way back to the table. She was on the cute side AND she was carrying wings, what could be better? Jack's turned with a blink when he heard his name called off, it took him a couple of minutes to realize what exactly was being discussed and when he realized he was being introduced he smiled before speaking, "Nice to meet you Takahiro," bback before sitting back down and sneaking another look at the waitress before grabbing a couple of wings. It had been a nice day....and then tremors hit the cafe, Jack wasn't completely useless in this scenario, he had been through small tremors and well he had heard of worse ones then he had been in. So with a quick grab for another wing the drunken demon slid under the table and ready to wait the tremor out. Of course if he noticed someone struggling to seek shelter he would dash over and drag them under the table or if someone in his group asked for help he would jump to it. Jack was sure it would pass in a couple of minutes and no one would get hurt. |

Konrad was soon introduced to Dom's new friend, Takahiro. Konrad suspected he had likely seen him before, but could not recall from where exactly. But, given that they all attended the same school, it was likely Konrad had ran into every student at least once. Not literally, thankfully. That would be awkward! The waitress was coming around the bend with their order, and though Konrad hated to admit it, he was developing a taste for these salty monstrosities. Was that drool on his lips? He'd never admit to it, anyways. At least it wasn't cheesecake. Heaven help him if they brought out cheesecake. Konrad was too proud to admit it, but his sweet-tooth was far more prominent than should be expected of a stoic knight. What was expected, however, was Konrad's reaction to the earthquake. Instantly instincts took over as he stood and surveyed the area. The civilians weren't exactly reacting rationally. Two small children collapsed into heaps below a light fixture. "Mein Gott!!" Konrad gasped as he saw the wires begin to rupture the ceiling above them. Without thinking he made a mad dash towards them, narrowly scooping them out of harm's way before the lights came crashing down into the ground with a splash of glass and sparks. Everyone was safe, but hurt his back as it collided with the ground. Better him than landing on the children. "Vas?? Not again!" Konrad shouted to Dom with lament. Were they to be fighting again so soon? The Empire was never this dangerous!! |

Takahiro was a bit busy with Dom at the moment, and Dom had then gone to introduce him to the rest of the group. Chris nodded as the rest of them had introduced himself. Chris had gone off to get something a bit more substancial to eat. After all, he was the little guy with the big mouth in more than one way, and he didn't want to hog the wings. After all, the regeneration power he had needed a source of building material to work with. Chris was getting back with a Bacon Cheeseburger, one of his favorite foods, when the area was struck with an earthquake. "Oh, is it that time already?" Chris said, then took cover in the nearest area, which was close enough to where Konrad was taking cover to properly respond. Chris pulled out his NICAM to confirm that, yes, it WAS 'that time' again. Maybe. "Who will it be this time? A resurrected foe from the past, or some hotshot trying to make it to the big time?" "Hey there Dom," Vahn waved over his back as he turned for a moment, listening to the introductions. Takahiro. Vahn blinked, plainly waving as he spun around in his seat to see an order of chicken wings land in front of them, with a waitress smiling and walking past. "That's good. I'm starving," Vahn joked, grabbing a wing from the tray as he looked over it for a moment. Spicy or not, Vahn would take a bit, politely chewing his food as he looked around the table for a moment. With several wings down, Vahn wiped his hands off with a napkin as he felt a small tremor at first, but them one of the televisions slid off of the walls, crashing near a group of children. Vahn stood up as the quake intensified as debris and parts of the roof started to fall around them. While Dom and Jack had drug someone under their table, Konrad saving a group of children, and Chris talking about a possible monster to fight, Vahn looked the opposite way that Konrad had gone, seeing another group of kids. Vahn ran through the shaking area as he kicked a chair out of his way before getting to the kids and younger teens. "Come on! This way!" the Eloc moved with them, leading them into one of the doorways on the interior wall, staying in front of them with his back turned to protect them from any more falling glass, covering them with his trench coat. |

Well, it looked like Dom was certainly friendly with a lot of people. They were all students, that much was clear to him, but he couldn't name any of them off the top of his head. A side effect of him not having much of a social life, to be sure, and as much as he wanted to correct that from time to time, his fear of people getting swept up in the game he was being forced to place prevented him from having any kind of meaningful relationship. After all, the last time...well, he didn't want to think about that. It was still hard to recall that girl and the train... No, this wasn't the time. Right now, he was having a conversation. Or was trying to, at least. Introductions abounded, and he committed their names to memory the best he could. Odds were he'd forget as soon as he left, but for the time being he could play nice and try to talk to some people. Of course, as soon as he opened his mouth, the world began to shake. Chalk it up to his own bad luck. He panicked, but just a bit, as he scrambled to find a safe spot to weather this little storm. He wasn't sure where that spot would be, but he didn't really have too much time to consider his options, so he just ran toward the exit, eventually making his way into the outside world with some other people. "Jeez..." he muttered to himself, trying to locate a place to stand. Of course, during an earthquake the best place to be was in the air and far away from things that might fall on you. Of course, he couldn't fly, so that was out of the question, so he just ended up standing there, watching people around him panic. And he couldn't do anything but just that - watch. He hated feeling so helpless, but right now it was all he had. Hopefully, this would pass soon and everything could get back to normal. |

Dom could only motion for Chris to shush. While yes it was looking to be that familiar time, no one could know. Well no one should know anyone. The last thing they needed was their cover blown. Not only would they be mobbed by fangirls and fanboys alike, but they'd be putting more lives unnecessarily at risk. And that would be bad. Thankfully the earthquake would end and the shaking would come to a halt. Of course when an earthquake does happen one should be wary of after shocks. However there was not one to be had. Obviously this wasn't a normal earthquake, but what caused it. While Dom had his suspicions he felt like there was something much more concrete to the matter. It was then that all five of the boys' wrists began to beep. It was their communicators that Professor Cranston had given them some time after their first big battle as rangers. "I'm guessing this isn't good news professor?" Coming in loud and clear to all of them, "Fraid not. I'm just glad you guys are safe. That earthquake was the cause of some strange activities going on near Ryujin. Censors picked up a spike in seismic activity minutes before the earthquake had occurred. You're going to have to investigate, but be careful. The situation just doesn't sit well with me. " "Alright, we're on it. " Looking around to pin point exactly where the others were, Dom was glad to see all of them unharmed. Though...where was Hiro? Dom didn't see him anywhere. Sure he had just met the guy but he was certainly concerned. Thankfully when he went outside there Hiro was, unharmed. "Glad to see you're safe", Dom said with relief in his voice. Looking around the damage wasn't terrible. Anything that wasn't pinned to the earth was pretty much all over the place. But beyond that there wasn't any giant cracks or anything. Noticing the others had found there way outside, Dom realized it was time to get going. Couldn't waste more time here when strange happenings were going on at the mountain. "Anyways, I have to go some. It was nice meeting you Hiro! Um...stay safe, in case there's another earthquake. See ya!" Signaling with a tilt of his head for the team to mozy on outta here, Dom scampered off toward the direction of the mountain. [OOC: Next round things begin to pick up for both the rangers and Takahiro :D] |

After a little while, the earthquakes ceased. So Chris's guess was somewhat off: Nothing was going to strike the campus directly. An indirect strike, however, was fairly likely. Mr. Cranston had called in to mention that there was some seismic activity going on near Mt. Ryujin. "Hoo boy." Chris said, "I hope that doesn't entail either of the two worst-case scenarios: Ryujin erupting, or more zombie vegetable monsters getting loose. Regardless, we're going to check it out." Chris followed Dom out. Hiro had already left the building during the chaos, and was reasonably safe. Chris saw Dom head off towards the mountain trail. Chris ran off to follow him, saying, "It's too dangerous to go alone! I'm coming, too!" Something that, given how often he or some other hero had tried to solve a problem by himself and failed miserably, is starting to become sort of a catchphrase for him. |

The Eloc stood up, shaking out his trench coat as he patted himself down. "Are you guys okay?" he asked as they nodded. Shaking a piece of glass from his side, his wrist beeped as he pulled out his cell phone, walking around the hallway and away from everyone else as he answered his wrist. Dom chimed in as Vahn chuckled. "When is it ever good news?" he asked, commenting on the matter. Vahn understood what all of that meant. "I'll meet you guys there," the Eloc announced, closing his communicator for the moment as He nodded, looking around, Vahn found his own way out the back, coming around to get outside the gate that lead to Mount Ryujin as he jogged along. He weaved in and out, slowing down around teachers in order to not raise suspicion. Soon enough, though a little bit behind the rest of the group, Vahn had made his way to the path, able to see the others in the distance ahead of him. Thankfully, the Eloc was physically fit, so it wasn't a big deal to make up the ground he needed to in order to catch up with the others, meeting them on the way to the mountain. It just took a little bit of time. He didn't want to wear himself out by running all of the way there, especially since the professor had told them to be careful. He didn't think that anything crazy was going to happen, though seismic activity near a volcano of any kind was never a good thing to hear about. Hopefully, nothing too major was going to happen outside of the usual "monster shows up- team whoops monster's ass- team goes back to normal life-" formula that the last couple battles had taken. Seeing no one really need his help or the others got to them first the drunken demon waited the quake out and when it was over he took to his feet and moved over to Dom; their ‘fearless’ leader. And of course Chris spoke and all Jack could do was sigh a little, the boy was just too obvious and from what he knew they were supposed to be a secret, unless he missed the memo. And just as his thoughts seemed to trail away the watch thingy went off. And once the man began to speak Jack wished he had a little bit more time to have a few more drinks; they had to investigate weird things, which always meant a fight in some way. Taking lead from Dom, “Ya, what he said,” Jack said before taking off after Dom. Jack sipped on his flask as he moved through the area. He was sure there was a fight for them somewhere; they just had to find it before it found them, which meant the skirt again. Jack sighed loudly as he moved. That damn skirt, was he really the most feminine one here to get the skirt. Sure he liked ‘being’ in a skirt but only if there was a hot chick in it and he was doing stuff. Oh well not like he could change anything now, next time he just wouldn’t give chase to a villain to get some chicks number…..speaking of which he hadn’t even gotten that! |

The earthquake was mercifully short. With Konrad on the ground, it wasn't as if he had many options for protecting any of the children he just took out of harm's way, let alone protecting himself or any other civilians. Thankfully, that was unnecessary. Well, protecting others, for now, was not. Protecting himself was likely going to be the flavor of the day. As it had been for several weeks beforehand. The life of a Knight, even in this modern age, was never quite so dull. As had become the standard, the Professor came on and instructed them on what to do next. Konrad nodded and went along, as had also become the standard. In truth, it had begun to remind him more and more of his time. The world always seemed in peril. Lives were always at stake. And people he didn't really know but was told to respect continued to give him orders for the 'benefit of all'. And of course, the world never ever stays saved. Konrad of course was too stoic and stalwart to question any order, let alone one he agreed with, but it did amuse him in some strange way how little things had really changed. As they went, Konrad found the conversation rather odd. "Vas? Zombie vegetables...vas??" questioned the knight, the perplexion painted five shades of strange on his face. A volcano was bad enough, but why would there be...? He didn't want to think about it. "Let us just be going, ja? I want to be getting back to studying before dusk. Reaching the base of Ryujin, fog was blanketing the surrounding grounds. At this level it was but a mere nuisance, inconvenient at worst. However looking toward the trail in the forests leading up the mountain, it would become clear the fog was only going to get thicker and denser. "Careful guys! Don't want us getting separated out here", Dom said a bit worried. Fog like this was just unnatural, especially for this season. The group was strong but they were vulnerable in a setting like this. If they weren't careful they could easily get bested by a large number of the mooks in tuxes led by Qui-Yue. However his insecurities regarding their current task not with standing, Dom nearly jumped when a shrill roar echoed in the air. It...it...sounded like a dragon! The only reason why he knew that was because he himself piloted a dragon and the roar was similar in comparison. However unlike his zord, this roar sounded deeper and angrier. Most certainly not a happy dragon. "That didn't sound good..." Now running at this point, Dom was trying not to stumble and fall. He wanted to get to the crater. He had to know if the source of the geometric activity and the sound of the roar were connected. He just hoped they weren't. Running into a clearing on the mountain, Dom and the others would find themselves at the epicenter of the fog. In fact at this epicenter there wasn't any fog! They could see clearly again. However looking around, they'd see many things. The first...was that Vahn was missing. The second being a VERY large impact crater in front of them with what looked to be several tuxedo mooks ready and waiting to ambush them. Leading the mooks of course was one of Qui-Yue's henchmen, a monkey with golden armor and golden wings wielding a sword. "Nice of you to come willingly to your demise rangers", the monkey said with a laugh before beckoning the mooks to charge toward the rangers. As for Vahn, it would soon become apparent he was alone; no sign of his teammates anywhere. He would have been with them when the dragon roared, but after that they soon separated. Whether it was purposefully orchestrated by higher powers or just sheer accidental coincidence would remain to be seen. Either way it probably wasn't good to be wandering alone out here. Walking around it wouldn't be long before he found himself in a clearing from the fog like the others. However unlike the others , he wouldn't find craters or tuxedo mooks. He'd find a woman sitting down staring into a lake. She had long raven black hair and dressed as if she came from a temple here in Japan; flowing robes of silk. From the sound of things she was upset, the sounds of crying ringing lightly in the air. Perhaps he should check it out? |

Once they made it to the base of the mountain it seemed that a fog had covered the grounds, it irritated Jack a little bit but it didn’t seem to be causing any issues so he followed Dom’s orders and stayed close and made sure he didn’t get separated. Jack could tell he was a little on edge and who could blame him with all the weird shit that had been happening, and Jack sooo didn’t want to deal with being ambushed again. It wasn’t too long before a strange sound filled the area, it was almost familiar but not at the same time, maybe he heard it when the machines showed up. Was it the sound of a dragon? No it couldn’t be, it must just be a weird echo from the mountains. When Dom took off running Jack followed after being as careful as possible to not get separated and to stay on his feet and when they made it to the center the fog was gone…..so was Vahn….and of course there were things that wanted to hit them. More henchmen and a monkey. Jack sighed loudly before taking to his stance, he would not let these guys beat the shot out of him without a fight and he would give them a fight! |

With the team advancing up the mountain, the fog got a bit thicker. Chris was able to keep up reasonably well, but was warned not to lose track. "Yeah. When that happens, getting seperated by fog, it's rarely going to go well." Chris said, "I should know about this. The group kept going. Having walked this trail several times before, he had the route for the most part memorized. However, there was a loud roar. By the sound Dom's little comment, it probably wasn't that of his dragon partner. Chris said nothing, but kept more of an ear out for whatever it was. Hopefully it wouldn't be able to find them through the fog, as the last time there was such. The team found a clearing in the fog and what looked like a large crater. Vahn, however, seemed to lose his way on the way. He could probably handle himself and rejoin the group soon enough. "Something must have made a crash landing here." Chris said, then saw a group of Yue's goons led by a flying monkey lieutenant, "Looking for something? Other than us?" Chris asked as the goons rushed up the crater and towards the group. Chris prepared to engage the goons. Hopefully this 'Elite Four' would hold out long enough to get to full strength. |

Pecking Order~!

Of course it couldn't be the simple way, could it? How many times had he run out here for a jog, or run through the trails to clear his head? Instead of meeting up with the other Power Rangers, though, the Eloc soon found himself in the complete opposite situation- alone in the middle of nowhere. Fog was everywhere, making generally everything undetectable, and even causing the Eloc to stumble down a small hill, catching himself before it was too late, thankfully. Looking around, though, the Green Ranger didn't come across the rest of his team, or the monster that was causing this, or even some goons for him to dispatch easily enough. No, Vahn ran into something much more confusing at first, though he still kept his guard up for a moment. He came across a woman, facing away from his gaze and staring into a lake with beautiful raven hair that shined. She dressed as if she had just come from a temple in the area, complete in flowing robs of silk and cloth as Vahn must have been standing still for at least a moment, half expecting her to turn around and attack him. However, she didn't. Instead, it sounded as if the woman was crying to herself. Taking several steps closer, the Eloc spoke up. "Ma'am," the Green Ranger spoke. "Are you okay?" he asked, standing at most three feet away, looking at the woman sitting in front of him. |

Midnight Thunderboy

He never would get an answer. Not that there was time for that kind of idle banter at this stage in the game. No. Konrad had more pressing concerns. The action was frantic, but nothing the Teuton was not used to by this point. Although his training as a knight had prepared him for this on some level, at the same time, this was something new altogether. Still, running through the fog but nothing but God's hand to guide him was nothing new. He trusted his leader, himself, and his team. Konrad was not about to falter any time soon. The sound of a dragon was terrifying to most, but Konrad knew better. "Just keep moving. Dragons are territorial, but they are usually not outright hostile," was what he said, though the dragons he fought in Europe were not necessarily the same as those of the orient. He prayed he was correct. What came to follow, however, was something he was concerned with. An ambush! A collection of goons and a golden monkey leader. Thankfully, up in the mountains, it was not so difficult to find a tool akin to a blade he was woefully lacking. Konrad grabbed the straightest metre long stick he could find and tested it. While far from perfect, it would be suitable. He slung it over his shoulder and glared at the battlefield to be. "As with a sword in my bones, my adversaries reproach me, while they continually ask me, “Where is your God?” " Taking the makeshift blade from his shoulder as the tuxedoed goons got closer, he adopts a stance they should find familiar. "I will fear no evil, for you are with me." |

"No sense wasting time if you know who we are." Shifting into a fighting stance, Dom quickly lifted up his arms before releasing the key of his right bracer and inserting it into his left bracer. "Fire Star! Aura changer!" Emerging in a flash of red light, Dom was suited up for battle. Though he wouldn't fight empty handed, oh no. Extending both arms, Dom yelled "Double Dragon swords!" Emerging in his hands a pair of twin chinese swords with a red hilt. Without wasting any time, Dom charged forward hacking and slashing his way at the tuxedo goons now surrounding him. When the others morphed, they themselves would also have access to their power weapons as well. While Konrad had made himself a make shift staff, he might prefer his pegasus nunchuks. For Jack, he'd have access to his phoenix spear. Last but not least would be Chris who would gain access to his gryphon whip, which was comprised of nine metal segments. All of them would find themselves well versed in using their particular weapon with the equivalence of an intermediate fighter. Attacking from all sides, the tuxedo antagonists were giving it everything they had. Though with new skills in their back pocket, perhaps it would make things easier; making up for a missing member. The woman with raven hair could only nod "no" to Vahn's questions, hiccups emerging a midst her crying. She wasn't okay, nowhere near it in fact. Actually, she was quite ecstatic, for a delicious morsel had entered her trap. Like a little fly, Vahn was helpless a midst this spider's web. Getting up from the ground, she turned to face the mighty warrior; a wide smile on her face, dark purple orbs staring deep into Vahn's. Gazes fixed onto each other, Vahn would suddenly feel fixed in place; unable to move. "It's so nice to finally meet one of you rangers in person." The voice, it would be familiar. Vahn would recognize it with ease, Qui-Yue. "And it'll be you that will bring about the undoing of the others." Extending her arm out, the demoness gently placed her left hand on Vahn's forehead whilst in her right emerged a golden coin with the imprint of a dragon's foot embedded into it. "A lion you are not, but a dragon instead. May the winds of change, combined with my touch of evil bestow upon you the power of a real dragon. Green ranger heed my call, become my soldier of destruction. Annihilate your former teammates, and stand tall." With Qui-Yue's incantation, a dark power would surge through Vahn's body. It would sting and burn as it slowly infected his body, but the feelings of pain would swiftly turn into pleasure as his body adapted to the arcing bolts of negative energy coursing through him. In moments the process would be over, the coin disappearing from the demoness's hands into Vahn's. When he chose to morph he'd instinctively know how to do it, using a different phrase altogether and turning into a different form. The form and avatar of a mighty dragon, the very one that lurked the mountain they stood on. "Tell your empress how you're feeling my green ranger." [OOC: Feel free to sweep up the mooks with your new shinies, and Vahn enjoy your new outlook on life (: ] |

It seemed it was time to morph and kick the shit out of these guys. Once he saw Dom shift Jack followed suit, he sort of stumbled through the words but it wasn't long before his body was covered in pink armor. He sighed a little bit as he saw the shirt, why did he have it! He had male dangly bits! Jack sighed a little bit and that was when he noticed the shinny new weapon, it was a spear and he had no clue how to use it but surely it couldn't be that hard, now could it? It was a long white spear with what looked to be pink fur or feathers near the spear tip, he blinked a couple of times as he looked from the weapon, could there be a more sexual innuendo weapon. He almost laughed but a weird guy came at him and tried to hit him, so rude! He was still trying to not laugh at his weapon! Oh well, Jack brought the weapon down on the guy smacking him on the back and using the momentum to push himself behind the guy before stabbing the spear into the back of the guy's neck before yanking it out and using the back of the spear to hit the guy behind in the head before spinning around and thrusting the spear into the guy's chest. Jack was soon in a rhythm as fought the men, it was almost like a mix between fighting and dancing, he moved the spear around himself to knock the men around him off balance before thrusting the spear in valuable places. He was no master, by far, he stumbled a little bit but the end result was guys fell before the pink ranger! |

Dom wasn't going to wait for Vahn to rejoin before getting into action. "Alright, then, Time Star, Aura Changer!" Time to get to work, and with a new weapon to go with it, something of a metal chain, albeit with each of the nine individual links being fairly long compared to what he worked with in the Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari simulations in the Bushido Chambers. Chris decided to test its range, casting the chain whip toward goons the way one would work with a fishing rod. First strike hit a goon upside its head, stunning it for a few seconds. The next one was fairly far out, with its last segment striking another goon in the stomach, knocking the wind out of it briefly. However, that linear kind of attack let a fairly large group get in close, to which Chris responded by backing off and going with wider swings. Each swipe managed to hit only one or two before losing all momentum, but Chris was swinging furiously, each swing thinning out the numbers. |
