Full Physical Description Peter doesn't look like he could harm a fly even if he tried. He stands at 5'5", which doesn't help his scrawny self look very imposing. He's not much tougher than he looks, being delicate and frail. He's a blond-haired man with similarly blond, floppy rabbit ears that reach to just about his shoulders and a small fluffy tail. That’s the extent of his rabbity appearance, however; though he doesn’t have human ears due to their redundancy, he otherwise at least appears completely human. A large, old scar reaches across his back and curves to the right side of his chest. He tends to wear soft things whenever possible, and chooses comfort over appearance. He likes to wear solid colours, generally brown, yellow or white, that somewhat match his hair, as he still wants to look mildly nice even if he has no fashion sense. The red Ani.A P.L.E.S.E.D v1.0 on his left ear isn't the most comfortable looking thing ever, but Peter isn't about to lose his ability to comprehend people who don't speak Japanese.
| Personality Quick Reference |
|---|
| Loves | Dislikes | Weaknesses | Strengths | Fears |
|---|
| Sugar, sweets, soft things, children | being ordered around, having to hurt people | Innocent, gullible, weak | Innocent | Being hurt |
Personality Peter is scared of just about everything, and between fight or flight he's the type to choose begging for mercy. He's not the most knowledgeable, and has a very small and childish vocabulary. His sense of morality is very strong, so he's always extremely upset (and blindsided) by acts of cruelty. Possibly due to this, he's also extremely gullible, and will believe most anything you tell him.
Peter hates the idea of getting hurt, and he'll do most anything to keep himself safe... so long as it doesn't involve putting a child in harm's way. After all, the children are so cute and innocent, and it just wouldn't be fair to let them get hurt... Peter loooves children. In a totally innocent way, seeing as he's too immature to consider them in any other way.
One of the few things that will consistently not scare Peter is sugar. He loves sugar and confectionaries like nothing else in the world, and is happy to down a whole cake in a minute if given the opportunity. This love for sweets has lead Peter to learn to make sweets himself.
Peter is a pacifist, and would never ever ever ever hurt anyone... or at least that's what he'll tell you. In truth, more than anything else in the world, he wants his former "friends" to accept him again, and he has an obsessive need to help people and keep them happy that partially stems from the hope doing this will mean he's doing better at his job. This means that if Peter wants something done and things he'll need to hurt someone along the way, he's likely to circumvent the "no violence" rule by simply knocking people out and restraining them. It doesn't count as an injury if it leaves no mark, after all!
Background There is, somewhere, a universe that runs by the whims of the gods. That is not to say that logic and sense cannot be made of it; only that one will often find that logic being bent to make way for the petty disputes of deities.
Often very petty, as the deities do only have the consciousness, desires and flaws of humans, but are in fact the origins of such things, and everything else. Mortal civilizations were modelled after theirs, though as mortals became more accustomed to their limited world, adapting to their mortality and, through their creativity, creating things the gods had never imagined, soon gods were being created that were models of the mortals instead. Later still, it became common for gods to be born less like the Greek gods of myth, springing out in full armour from skulls or demanding bow and arrows, but like mortals, who spent their vulnerable childhoods learning in ways those already on set paths could not replicate.
One obvious result of this is the existence of a god of agriculture, and the fields that he harvests. It is said that he must have existed for at least as long as Time, for none know when or where he came into being, nor when he took up the job of the god of agriculture, and he has never had a name, though he has gone by many titles. It has been rumoured he’s capable of much more than just harvesting crops. He has never been on the best of terms with the other gods, at least according to the stories he would later tell his “child”, but he is far too important to be abandoned. In fact, he is the one of the only deities known to have never been required to choose a side in a dispute, preferring to stay neutral.
To the young deity born in his fields, he has always been Father.
The fields have always been sacred. No creature, mortal or divine, was permitted to step into them, save for their owner, lest they dirty the fields with their presence and take more than their share of the harvest. At the annual harvest festival each creature gets its share, and no more. But one dauntless rabbit hopped in despite the restriction, nibbling on the stem of a sugar cane plant. Not seeing the creature in the plants, the god took his cane knife and cut the cane for harvest, slashing the rabbit open across its back and killing it where it lay. Its blood spilled onto the parched earth, which had never felt the presence of animal life, and life grew from the earth as if a seed had been planted. Where the blood stained the earth a boy was born, with ears as soft as silk and the wound across his back as a reminder of how he came to be.
The boy seemed either dead or unconscious, and as the god of agriculture saw no reason to take responsibility for him, he promptly left the little rabbit boy, bleeding and broken, where he lay, avoiding the area in his harvest.
His mind did eventually change, for reasons unknown, and he took the boy in as his son. This lasted only around a hundred years, however, before it was noticed something was amiss, and the boy was led away in a trance by divine powers.
Remembered Past The boy woke up in a place wild and overgrown, without a clue where or who he was. He was hungry, and in pain, and dreadfully lost, and as he looked around the strange place he found himself in, tears began to form in his eyes. Before he knew what was going on he was sobbing, calling out desperately for someone to help him. His pleas were answered.
He remembers little from after Father picked him up and carried him away. He knows he was very often alone, and those times he did have company it was that of his precious Father, and none other.
He always had a natural talent for dealing with sugar, and spent many a day making wondrous things of sugar and many other ingredients, though where he obtained them is a mystery. It was a happy existence, that much is certain, and one in which he developed a strong filial loyalty to Father.
So he still doesn’t know why he later left. There was a harvest festival every year, and he was always there to watch. He shied away from the attendants, but he was, one year, struck with a lapse in logic and a desire to follow one away, only realizing his mistake when he found himself in a place he did not recognize.
He told the man his home was back in the fields, and that his father would be worried about him. But for some reason his friend only insisted that he stay with him.
At the man’s lodgings there were… others. He doesn’t quite remember who, but they showed great interest in him at first, asking for things like his name. He didn’t have one. Peter, they decided. That was his name. “Potters” was his own addition later on, though at the moment it wasn’t something he was concerned about.
He was asked many questions, and answered them as well as he could, although he knew little. Eventually interest seemed to dwindle, and they began asking him to do little chores instead. This he did for many years. But whenever he could manage to sneak out, or, very rarely, had a bit of free time, he'd look down from the heavens and watch the mortals.
He didn't mind so much, doing all this work. All the little mortals had to work too, except when they were very small or very old, and they always had to worry about things like dying. And so long as he was working his friends were sort of nice to him kind of a bit. That was good enough for now.
Occasionally, he'd sneak little sweets down to the mortals, coming down from his celestial city in the form of a little rabbit with a satchel, in the hopes of giving them something to be happy about during their short lives. It didn't work quite as expected. The adults were to eat something that mysteriously ended up on their bedside table.. And the elders were often too close to death to even consider them. But the children loved to discover candies and pastries behind bushes, under chairs, wherever it was they happened to be, and they would positively glow when they found one. It was all so... adorable.
In this way, Peter managed to enjoy himself despite his situation for many decades. But he could not help but notice the weak. Before they so much as began to live, some children would become bedridden, having mysteriously become ill, or having been horribly injured. To Peter, who was still, at least in mind, a child himself, it all felt terribly unfair. He would slip away for hours at a time to play with them to make them forget their weakness, only sometimes managing to return home without being noticed. But he could do nothing when they died, and tensions were rising.
Soon he could bear it no longer. A plague had stricken a small forest village, one with many children dear to him. Suddenly, many of those who had played in the streets just a day before could barely stand, and a young girl who had already been ill soon became worse, and died.
He stole a bottle of ambrosia, ran down to the village and swept the children away, carrying them far away into the clouds where he hoped he could hide them, and nursing them back to health. He was blissfully unaware of the panic below him, as parents found their sons and daughters were suddenly gone.
The other deities could not miss such an event. Before he knew what was happening, the children were being dragged back to their families, to later tell them of what amazing things had happened to them, and the event was covered up as these children being healed so they could carry the future, through visions given to the townsfolk.
But there would have to be a punishment carried out. Peter was brought to trial under the Celestial Court, and by unanimous vote found guilty of direct contact with mortals. He was sentenced to banishment to another dimension, without the use of any of his powers.
It was at this point his father intervened, gently pointing out that the boy had only been trying to do the best for the people. It was not an argument that would have ordinarily gone through. But an exception was made for Father. Exceptions were always made for him.
Thus, Peter was sent away with only partial power loss, with the ability to speak and comprehend the native language of his destination, Avalon, a somewhat protected environment in which he would hopefully be able to survive.

Magic Spells/Special Abilities:
Sugar Bunny:
- Though demoted, Peter is ultimately a deity, and as such is technically both immortal and ageless. However, his status means that his body reacts to attack as any human would, and in fact he is on the delicate side. Also, though he cannot technically die he reaches a state of unconsciousness that is essentially death when his body is in a state that cannot support him, his soul being removed from the body if it is beyond repair (by human standards) and returning once either it is whole again or a suitable replacement has been crafted. (Basically, when his body is in a state where a human would be dead, so is he. A resurrection SL or 6-credit resurrection is still necessary.)
- The ears function only as well as a human’s, and are about as sensitive as an average person’s hands. The tail doesn’t do much of anything but wiggle, as rabbit communication is rather useless in a humanoid.
- A god of sugar requires, at bare minimum and with little activity, at least six pounds of sugar per day, which function as alternative nutrition to food and water. Lacking these six pounds will cause starvation as it would occur in any human, although the lack of fat storage causes there to be fewer visible signs. Non-sugar that is ingested has no use and is discarded; sugar is either used or stored in the equivalent of the blood stream, meaning Peter’s blood is actually quite sweet.
- A sugar god can eat only confectionaries; other foods will be immediately and painfully regurgitated. Liquids are more lenient, but anything containing animal flesh cannot be ingested, even if it is in, say, a soup.
- Peter is incapable of being too full; eating more pounds of sugar than he weighs simply causes the excess sugar to disappear into hyperspace.
- A god, even if demoted, cannot contract normal human illnesses, as the viruses and bacteria behind them cannot handle the strange anatomy of a god.
Love and Sugar:
Peter makes his sweets with love, and it's something that spills over into the sweets themselves and, consequently, those who he gives them to. This currently manifests itself in his cookies. If someone eats a cookie he has made, regardless of whether or not this is voluntary, and then remains for two hours within five meters of him, the person who has eaten it will begin to feel as if Peter wants only the best for them, and their mind will justify any wrong-doings of his as being acts of innocent misunderstanding, regardless of how ridiculously twisted the justification must be. Those particularly sensitive to magic, or with a strong sense of self and strong observational skills may notice this, allowing them to push these thoughts away and delay any further effects on them. However, despite their resistance they too will eventually feel closer to Peter, provided that they remain within five meters of him.
After about fifteen minutes the person will begin to feel loved and protected in his presence, magnifying dangers around him or her so that it feels that remaining near Peter is the only safe option.
The effect lasts for as long as the affected person remains within five meters of Peter, so long as he or she is fed some sort of confectionary that Peter has made at least once a day. If either of these conditions is not met, the affected person’s faked feelings will suddenly feel very fake and fade within a minute if the person does not push them away him or herself.
Training:
Knot Tying: Advanced Peter is good with rope and other similar materials, specializing in the tying of practical knots. It takes Peter only around 4 seconds to make effective handcuffs/legcuffs out of rope or similar material, though this doesn't lend him the ability to actually get them on someone who's flailing around. They're difficult to wiggle out of because of the stopper knots on the ends, but can still be worn out as the material allows.
Confectionary Making: Advanced Peter can make many different sweets if given the means to do so, and quite skillfully at that, although its not as if he knows the recipe to every sweet that has ever existed, and he might need instructions for something obscure or extremely difficult to make.
Floristry: Medium Peter's got a wee bit of a green thumb. Not all of his flowers end up perfect, but if he's given the time and materials to care for them they shouldn't end up dead. They last quite long in his care. If given the proper plants and enough time Peter can arrange them quite pleasantly, but he hasn't the skill needed to make a bouquet of weeds look attractive.
Inventory/Equipment:
Ani.A.P.L.E.S.E.D v1.0 Animal Adapted Poly Linguistic Enlightenment And Service Extension Device
This little device comes standard to all students with animalistic ears enrolling at either AEA or AMTI. Using a combination of Bluetooth technology and a unique brand of communication magic, this little beauty will translate any known, human language into your native language as it's spoken with only a point-five second lag. Aesthetically, it's either blue or red pending on your school colors, however unlike the human designed ones that clip on the ear this is a two piece stud, a magnet holds the pieces together pressing the skin between them for those who don't have a pierce and don't want to... Optionally those that already have a pierce can change the magnet for a post and clutch, though this isn't very welcome by the staff. Please enjoy your stay on the Twin Campus.
The Masquerade A small artefact of spatial manipulation, the Masquerade is a headpiece, from a full on mask to perhaps a simple set of reading glasses, that bears a part of a disguise. When placed on one’s face, the Masquerade instantly makes several minor cosmetic changes to the wearer’s face, including a change of hair colour to any hue desired, a lengthening or shortening of their hair up to a few inches, eye colour change, skin colour, and slight alterations to the facial structure all around. The mask is not powerful enough to make you look identical to anyone else, but it is enough that it could fool most people when you wear it. It takes 60 seconds of intuitive thought to alter one’s face appropriately, and the cosmetic changes instantly disappear when the Masquerade is removed. Peter’s is a red, thin horseshoe-shaped headband with a red bow off to one side.
Coat of Holding Aesthetics: Peter’s Coat of Holding is a yellow winter coat. It reaches to just above his knees, and matches his Elemental Cloth. http://static.traderscity.com/board/userpix37/20157-women-rabbit-hair-collar-slanting-pockets-long-winter-coat-1.jpg Each pocket can fit up to what a normal pocket could size wise through the ENTRANCE, however beyond that, the size is unlimited! 300 lbs of rope? Sure, if you can deal with the weight! However items can only be taken out one at a time and once one item is taken out there is a timer before you can put anything back in or take anything back out. However, the timer is separate for each pocket. | Table of Dimensions for Coat of Holding |
|---|
| Weight Multiplier | Number of Large Storage Pockets | Item Storage per large pocket | Weight Limit per Large Pocket | Number of Small Pockets | Item Storage per small pocket | Weight limit for small pockets | Pocket Refresh Time |
|---|
| 1 | 1 | 1 | 100lbs | 2 | 1 | 20lbs | 120 seconds |
Elemental Cloth Main Description Elemental Cloth is a special fabric based off of Watercloth that is much more resistant and that through some enhancements can provide much better protection for magi and evos alike. For a start, the cloth adapts to the body, making buying new clothes only necessary when looking for a new style and pattern. This also implies that if the owner was to shift forms, the cloth would mold to the new shape and optionally integrate to the skin.
Minor forces are effectively spread through the cloth, making paper cuts, bruises and similar minor threats from walking around a wild environment null. This however doesn't implies you won't get slashed by a sword, or stabbed by a dagger or knife, this only protects from minor threats and can be upgraded to obtain more resistance.
Peter’s Elemental Cloth consists of an exceedingly simple yellow cotton t-shirt and pants, both somewhat baggy and loose fitting for comfort, but not ridiculously so. Both items of clothing are on the thick side, made for wearing in cold weather.
Elemental Cloth Upgrades:
Upgrades Heat Resistance: With this upgrade you can walk with that jacket you love dearly around during summer and don't fry yourself with the heat. The cloth has a magical effect that makes a quick dispersion of the body heat, effectively allowing someone to walk with heavy clothes during summer without much worry. This however has an upper limit, as the temperature on the exterior approaches the 107.6 ºF (42 ºC) the dispersion slowly stops being effective.
Recovery: With this upgrade, the clothes will recover from harm through time not being worn. As long as a single thread of the cloth exists, it can regain it's original shape and size though for this to happen, at least one day will be necessary... Minor damage such as small cuts and similar will recover within minutes or hours depending on size.
