"Remember who we work for you worm?" There was a kid on the ground, with another kid on top of him, pushing him down against the floor while his companions watched. The only difference between these kids was the red bands some of them wore. "Ye-ye-yes sir!" The kid on the floor whimpered, already crying in tears with the Brigade member threatening him. "Then why don't you pay up the tax?" The guy on top said with a smirk, his tone completely serious as he stared down at his victim, his partners looking around to keep watch. In regular cases around the school, brigade tax collection groups weren't half as aggressive as these guys. These guys were different, they actually had some strength to them because they were in charge of taxing people that walk in through the school gates. Standing out in the open everyday, taxing everybody that walked through, they expected to meet opposition at any moment, either from the aVengers, Warren's friends, or just students with a bit of courage. The shivering kid on the floor looked past the boy on top and saw a large group of people walking towards them. "I think we've got a big hit coming." The boy's partner said, igniting his hands on fire to get ready to collect. Pell, the boy leading the group, and the one on top of the innocent kid, released him and turned around, standing up to see this large group of teens walking towards them. His three partners were already in battle stance, while Pell held his hand up to signal the group to stop. "Everybody needs to pay 500 yen to enter this establishment." Pell wasn't afraid at all. He thought he was strong. The group was led by a blue short haired girl in the center, her dark blue eyes staring straight towards Pell as she smirked. She wore a black bikini top with a long pair of skinny fit jeans. Her whole body was practically covered in tattoo's, and two large guns crossed behind her back. "All you guys need to do is get me your leader and nobody will get hurt." Exia, she was called, finally stood in front of Pell's hand with her twenty or more members. Pell foolishly smiled, putting his hand down as he summoned his long sword. He leaned close to Exia and whispered, "Our leader doesn't bother with poor-" Exia only winked, and a loud bang echoed through the school as Pell was thrown from the school gates to the hallways, crashing into some lockers and getting himself seriously injured. Exia glanced over at his partners whom were smart enough to show their fear. "Hurry. Get me Demi Joana, Chad, and Akane." The gate collectors immediately nodded and ran off to get the three groups. ... Yeah, right... Chad replied to the guys knocking at his door, the wolf-boy had been relaxing and minding his business at his dorm when his door had been practically knocked down by some Lolies, saying that someone was looking for him at the entrance and that was terribly powerful and intimidating... Now, when the guys said that, Chad couldn't but raise an eyebrow and turn around, closing his door behind... Really, to the lolies anyone was powerful, at least anyone that had a few weeks in the campus, now for the intimidating part, quite likely only Chigu wasn't intimidating. However they didn't stop with just one closed door in their face, they kept knocking and insisting... To the point where Chad sighed and picked his guns and vest, deciding to go get a look at what these guys were calling terrible and scary and yada yada. Arriving at the murial ground was a short girl dressed in a bikini top and, well... skin tight jeans, Chad couldn't but raise an eyebrow, what was threatening of this girl? Not much really, only the guns and Chad had his own, not to mention the speed and agility to get the first shot should the events lead to that. Alright, I'm here, what's going on? Chad asked, evidently bothered by the fact that these strangers decided to screw his free day... On the other hand he was happy because the Lolies had got their ass handed by them... But mostly? Annoyed. |

"Ooo, I get to live in this SL?"

They found her laying lifeless on her bed. The LoL Brigade members had gotten to DJ’s dorm only to find that the door was opened slightly and definitely not locked. They called for her name at first, but with no response, they let themselves in and had found DJ on her bed. Sid, Demi’s roommate was not home, and only the smell of incense was the only sign that someone was alive. As the LoL brigade members walked closer to DJ’s body they would find her eyes open wide and her mouth slightly ajar. She wasn’t breathing, she wasn’t blinking. She was just… lifeless. However, as one of the Brigade members placed his head against DJ’s chest to listen for a heartbeat, a voice would call out to them from behind. ”Yes? May I help you? Immediately, Akane’s men turned around with a gasp and stared at a transparent figure of DJ. She smiled lightly at their shocked expressions before drifting over to her body and laying down into it. Moments later, Demi’s body gasped for air, and sat up with a jolt as if she had been startled awake. While breathing hard, DJ turned and grabbed a bottle of water off her dresser and drank it greedily. Like a woman half dead from dehydration, she gulped the water down madly before staring up at Akane’s thugs and taking another deep breath. I was giving my Coven members a tour around the astral plane. What is it that you need? DJ listened to them, and though the Coven had always been neutral in the faction wars between the Pack/ Avengers and the LoL Brigade, DJ considered their request. The LoL Brigade was having trouble with another group outside of the school, and now they wanted to speak to DJ, Chad, and Akane. Blinking with concern eyes, yet holding a polite smile, DJ sat up and combed her hair with her fingers. With a nod, she agreed to meet the group the LoL Brigade had encountered. After all, The Coven held open standings with both the LoL Brigade and the Pack. The Coven favored neither, yet would offer assistance if one group asked. As the LoLies left her room DJ looked into the mirror and sighed. She’d have to use magic again. Would she be able to push away the lingering feelings of addiction during this situation? Would her withdraw consume her afterwards, or would she allow herself to fall into the energies and be lost in all, Body, Soul, and Mind? She did not know, yet, for the sake of keeping the Alliance between The Coven and the Brigade stable, she would try. Dressed in a black wool jacket, a black t-shirt, and red shorts, she arrived around the same time as Chad. At first she wasn’t sure if it really was Chad, but as she made her way down the stairs to the grounds, she saw the ears and the tail. So, he had agreed to show up as well. It was odd for the Avengers to come, but DJ decided not to say anything about it. Not yet at least. DJ walked towards her friend and looked the girl with the guns up and down. DJ had never seen this woman before, but by first impressions, DJ assumed she was in charge of the gang that now flanked the entrance of the school. ”I am here as well… Hi. I like your tattoos…” |

Classes had more or less started for the new semester, but there were certain people demonstrating how not everyone attended on a regular basis. Among those people was Tails. After having caught up in his studies so that he could follow along with his classmates of the same age, the young delinquent was once again gallivanting around town. In fact, he wasn't even awake yet as his most recent job involved accompanying some well known club owner along his nightly treks. Technically, he wasn't hired as a bodyguard, but realistically, that's what he became. It was only now did the young teen painfully roll out of bed to check on his bruises in the mirror. The ones on his face had healed over, only leaving behind small, insignificant red marks as proof of the deeds, and the bigger ones on his chest and arms were no longer swollen yet were somewhat tender when touched. It was negligible enough for the strong willed youth to overcome as he got dressed to make the most of another afternoon. Truthfully, he had no reason to go to the campus, but he did so anyways. It was just one stop he felt like checking out for no reason other than familiarity. However, what he found there was rather surprising. It was a colorfully large group of people standing near the gates who, by no stretch of the imagination, looked ready to bust some heads. Instead of heading straight to the scene, the young Brigade member idly went about his routine of parking his motorcycle in the nearby garage, checking his stocks on his PDA, and walking over in a nonchalant fashion with a juice bottle in hand. He recognized some of the faces gathered; particularly Chad and Demi -- he refrained from calling Demi by her nickname of DJ because of the occupation that was associated to that acronym. The mystery gang was mostly unfamiliar. "Well, this is a big group of new students," Tails said out loud as he stepped up next to the Avengers and Coven leaders. "Are you guys responsible for showing them around?" He was addressing the two veteran figures. However, past all his joking he could gauge the real reason these trespassers were on campus. That is, assuming the Brigade members also present weren't backing away for nothing. It was some sort of trouble, and for one reason or another, Tails wanted in. Boom, boom, boom, boom! Said the dreaded 402 door, as one of Akane's lackeys pounded on it. “Mistress! Mistress!” The girl cried. Everyone was already gathered at the party by the gates, and Akane was going to be fashionably late. The door was opened by none other than Looks, looking down and shushing her as Akane was still asleep. Upon hearing that Akane has been summoned, Looks walked over to the edge of the hallways to look down at the gate, using her wand to enhance her vision to see a big group of ghetto looking people, all with guns or weapons. Exia didn't respond to Chad, cracking her knuckles while she eyed everyone that was gathering on the other side, waiting to see the group with red sashes join them. She thanked Demi's compliment with a nod and a smirk. Behind Exia, were girls dressed like herself, bikini tops with ghetto prints on them, shorts or ripped jeans. The guys had sleeveless tops and baggy shorts, with hair colors ranging from purple to bright orange. They looked much like the regular urban street gangsters, with their funky style of apparel and aesthetics. Akane finally arrived, carried in her bodyguard's arms, still dressed in their pajamas, except for the red bands that were on their right arms. “Sorry, Akane was too busy playing Starcraft 2 last night. She didn't get much sleep.” Looks said seriously, turning to face Exia while standing by Chad's and DJ's side, holding Akane like a princess that she was. “So! This must be Super-Cool-Akane-15. My, she is everything I expected.” Exia said with a grin, peering over to Chad and DJ, now fully realizing who her more competent foes were going to be. “My name's Exia, I run this crew and your leader trolled us online. We usually let shit like this go, but she mentioned something about having the best crew in the world, something about having a douche bag wolf and a pussy witch. Now, to me, that sounds like a challenge. So I'm challenging your group, three solo fights, no help from their friends. Just one on one. You guys pick three, and we'll pick three, I'll tell you more as we go along. Unless, you guys surrender.” She glared at Chad briefly, winking at him as she said the word 'surrender.' Akane's hand raised up, her eyes still closed as she spoke. “I pick Tails! Go gettum-Lolicar. Looks! Full speed back to the Nexus, I must rest for more Starcraft 2!” |

Sitting in a tree on campus, one of the campus's resident mages looked down at the book in his small hands. A pen was held between his teeth as he thought, trying his best to work on the diagram in front of him. It seemed wrong, not complete and he wasn't sure why. He looked up at the sky above him, playing with the pen in his teeth as he thought. What could be done to make it seem more.... complete? "Something's going down in front of the school!" When WASN'T something going on in front of the school? Lore just ignored the babbling around him as he continued to write in his book, adding a note here and there. The pen was erasable, thankfully, but would be later replaced with indelible ink. But for now, it was just marks in a book that could be removed or not. "Did you hear? DJ and Chad showed up! This is going to be awesome!" Okay, that wasn't so common. Lore looked up from his book and had to wonder. What was going on? That was interesting to say the least. And if Chad and DJ were there.... But at least, if they were there, there was no question as to whether or not the situation would be resolved.... or was there? DJ had seemed... odd lately. Would she be able to do anything in her current state? Maybe she was sick or something... Lore closed the book and sighed, placing it within his bag and quickly descending from his vantage branch. "Oh well! I had better see what's up!" he said with a bit of cheerful exasperation. He remembered when he would, like before, choose not to do anything and just ignore it. Or he would hide from it. Well, it wasn't like he had a choice currently. With DJ putting him as second in command, he really... couldn't. That would be breaking her trust. A quick walk later and he found himself at the gates. There was a crowd surrounding the area and he couldn't help but sigh. He couldn't see over these people! Oh well, he would be able to hear what was going on. There was no reason for him to go in to the fray... Right? |

Chad felt in the mood of just shifting to Fenrir form and chasing away all the ghetto crew... That was one of his best choices to get back to his dorm and relax, however he knew that would just cause more troubles, and he REALLY wanted to be able to relax... Not to mention, Issac and Calvin... If he chased these guys around as a massive wolf, he would never hear the end of it from both his boyfriend and his brother, Issac would most likely get angry and say he was abusing of humans and such things, Calvin would most likely get angry and say he was being reckless and picking dangers without need again. Both however would be angry, that would just screw the perfect day he had planned. DJ showed up soon, the wolf-boy smiled at this, he knew that DJ would make him reason in case he somehow lost his mind. Waving lightly to her, he turned to see the crowd gathered... It looked like the local gang had a meeting with the campus residents... This wasn't going to end well. Akane's arrival just made Chad raise an eyebrow... Seriously, she COULDN'T walk down to here!?... Yeah, apparently not, she was Akane after all. The words of the girl in front of them brought Chad's attention back front. Exia began to explain... Wait what, their leader?... Chad was going to kill Akane, if he could kill with a glare, Akane would be dead already... Now they were stuck in this challenge, three fights, or surrendering... And somehow Chad suspected that wink meant she wanted to try some dom/sub with the wolf-boy, something that wasn't going to work... For a start, Chad was being loyal to Issac no matter what happened since he didn't want to risk loosing him again, and second... Chad was way too dominating to let Exia be the one with the control. ... Okay, first let's leave this clear, Akane isn't my leader, second your crew is screwing up my free day... You know how often I get one f##king Free Day?, third no surrendering here, I'm top. And finally, you better know how to fight 'cause there's no way in hell I'm gonna fight with someone that's not you, I'm not sending MY pack to fight for me, I'm gonna fight for my pack. Chad stated, if Exia knew anything about the wolf-boy she should have been expecting this, he wasn't going to let anyone in his pack get injured if he could prevent it. |

"Ooo, I get to live in this SL?"
|
To say that DJ wasn’t a bit worried would be a lie. Though her face held a polite smile, and an airy, almost day dreaming like expression on her face, her mind was thinking about what exactly was going on here. This woman, with her group of gangsters, and thugs, just didn’t seem like a group of nice people. Perhaps they could be nice people, but right now, they were here on business and Demi knew that was never good; especially if said business involved bringing a gun. DJ smiled at Chad as he greeted her silently, but she still kept her eyes on Exia. Something bad was going to happen. She could feel it. However, with that feeling of danger in the midst, she suddenly felt a wave of hope. Something was also out there in the future. Something would come to her aide. Something that sounded like a violin. DJ closed her eyes as she focused. Something the sounded like a violin? And she felt cold, almost as if she had taken a walk in the snow. She shivered lightly before opening her eyes to the voice of another young man. This boy was more familiar to Demi, though she had never really met or got to know Tails that well. She knew he was a part of their school. She tilted her head slightly at him as he asked Chad and her if these were new students and if they were giving them a school tour? DJ guessed it was a half joke, half taunt to the gang in front of them. By the way everyone was reacting, it was clear Tails knew they were up to no good. Shaking her head lightly to Tails, she answered him with a soft tone. ”… No… We’re not sure who these people are, or what they want. All I know is they wanted to see Chad, Akane, and me… The violin music in the back of her mind started to play louder, as she felt a chill move up her spine. Something in the future was coming. Something was on its way. But… What was it? However, before she could say anything else to Tails or Chad, Akane finally showed up… being carried by Looks. DJ blinked a bit and looked the sleepy head up and down. This was only the second time DJ met Akane. Maybe Akane was a paraplegic? However, Looks cleared up the facts and stated Akane was up all night playing video games on her computer and was just sleepy. …ok… After the introduction and explanation from Looks, Exia started to express herself in a very rude sort of way. DJ just stood back watching the entire seen just as she felt the snowy chill wash over her mind once more. She swallowed her saliva with a bit of difficulty as she looked around at the gathering crowd around them. However, what brought her head back around to stare at Exia was the fact she said that Akane called The Coven apart of her crew. With raised eyebrows, DJ listened carefully to the rest of the gang leader’s words. When she was done, Chad had a few words to say. Again DJ remained ever observing. Forever watching the situation at hand silently. When Chad was done, DJ looked to Tails. He was chosen to represent the LoL Brigade. Chad would represent his pack for them, and DJ? She wasn’t sure. It was then that the wintry feeling of snow, violin music and a smile made itself clear. She saw Lore wedged in between two other people in the crowd. Destiny had brought him to her side, and though they met earlier that month to discuss Akane’s situation, she didn’t know it was today the conditions would escalate this far. (Play at same time) So, it was time for war. DJ took a step forward as her pupils began to grow. Energy flowed every where. Her eyes became overcome with the darkness, and the void as the clouds began to roll in. Like a monsoon storm, the sky turned dark within moments as thunder sounded. A flash of lightning flew across the sky as off in the distance, over another part of the school, the rain began to fall. The wind picked up all around the group and caused Demi’s hair to wisp around as if she were beneath the waves of the ocean. She turned to Lore and nodded to him, silently letting him know that as she warned before, it was time for him to be brave. The gang assaulting the school, would know who they were assailing. They were the Coven of Keys. ”Unlike the Avengers Pack, the Coven holds strong alliances to the LoL Brigade, and though Akane does not control this magical faction, we are still fighting by her side for the sake of politics. For the situation at hand, we are indeed considered a part of her “crew,” and any aggression towards the LoL Brigade by outside forces will be met with defensive action. The Coven of Keys, not as a branch of Akane’s Guild, but as fellow students of Avalon Azura campus, we fight in her name. We, The Coven of Keys, choose Lore to represent our grace, our honor, and our power. May it be so til the worlds collide. Edited by Mirror Paw, Aug 7 2010, 10:29 PM.

"Saints and sinners gathered at the doorstep," Tails whispered to himself. "Are these the pearly gates?" He scoffed his personal joke aside as the ball got rolling. First up was the late comer's arrival. For one reason or another, the entire event seemed to center around Ms. President who didn't appear very concerned about what was happening on her turf. As the girl named Exia spoke, Tails began to better understand the situation. Akane had pissed off a couple people while trolling on the internet. It sounded like something Ms. President would do, so that much was forgivable. However, these upstarts had the audacity to issue a challenge to the Brigade. That wasn't right, and as if to check themselves from their bold claim, they simplified the matter into a three on three match. "Guess they know a little better," Tails murmured to himself, drying the last of his juice box. Without even giving a moment of consideration, Ms. President unhesitatingly threw the young teen's name into the mix. For some reason, Tails wasn't completely caught off guard. After months of staying in her company, he could read her moods fairly well, and right now, she looked ready to push the problem out of mind and leave it to her most recently appointed second-in-command to handle. One side of the businessman said it wasn't necessary to get involved in the situation as there were other solutions that could be had aside from violence. Another side of the scholar said there was a way to get out of fighting them by directing the attention towards other, less witting targets. However, the domineering majority sided with the fighter whose mere presence among the other opinions caused his mental room to silence. Now, practically void of any emotions, Tails merely answered affirmatively, "Yes, Ms. President." Without so much as turning his head, those deft hands of the young teen tossed the empty juice box to the side, dropping it perfectly into a nearby trash can. For a moment, Tails thought a three on three fight meant they needed three Brigade members which got the young tactician thinking of who to call for the other two spots. However, an unexpected surprise occurred when the proud wolf himself decided to take up honor for his pack and secure one of the spots. Thinking it was a pattern, Tails turned to DJ, and sure enough, after some rather dramatic introductions, the third spot was filled with none other than his buddy Lore. It was such a strange turn of events, the Brigade member had to double check himself. "You guys seriously willing to fight for the Brigade?" It was a rhetorical question as Tails simply shrugged the thought aside before addressing the girl Exia, "Alright, we have our three. Where's yours?" |

Well, that had made sense. He had figured that this was the event DJ had told him about earlier, he just hadn't expected it to come so quickly. As DJ said his name, the seas of people seem to part around him and he sighed with a smile as he walked through him, all eyes on him. He couldn't help it, it was natural. Not that he liked the attention particularly, however it happened. The second year uniform awarded to the pipsqueak, the second in command of one of the largest organizations on campus, he just kept falling in to these kinds of things that he really didn't want. But he wasn't going to fight it. That would just leave another person to fight for it. When he reached DJ, he turned to Tails and smiled. "We're not just doing this to fight for the Brigade. They are our allies, but we're also fighting to protect fellow members of our campus from a threat. Even if the fellow members aren't exactly the most... liked members on campus, they're still our peers. And while infighting might not be stoppable, we can at least do that to make this campus safe," he explained. Where that came from he would never know, but it just did. Maybe that was why DJ had picked him. He understood her motivations to a T sometime. Not that he was looking forward to getting his ass handed to him by some random stranger. But at least he would try his best to not get hurt and not hurt the other person. To tell the truth, he was scared shitless to be honest. He had been worrying about this day ever since DJ had told him it was coming. He didn't like to fight, he didn't want to fight, he didn't want to do any of this. But... he really didn't have a choice. It was either that or disappoint DJ. That and if she said she couldn't do it herself, he believed her completely, so he knew he couldn't let her down and force her to hurt herself. So he had to do what he had to do. He had to end up fighting to defend the school. Fishing around in his bag of holding, he pulled out a large piece of paper and stuck it under his arm, the unfinished spell diagram his weapon of choice. He refused to let this get bloody at the very least. At least blood of the other person. He wouldn't... resort to doing that. Then he turned to Chad and said, "Chad, unless... you really have to... please don't hurt them too much?" He had seen Chad in action. When threatened, he got serious, and when serious, he could bring down the pain. Even if they DID have someone who was an even match... Ho boy, that would be interesting. Akane just cuddled onto Look's chest, resting her head on the comfortable replacements for pillows she found on her bodyguard's body. While most would understand Akane's eccentricity and believe her excuse of playing computer games all night long, Akane was actually terrified of what she brought upon their gates. Who the hell knew trolling online would get you some crazy gangster bitches? Akane wasn't a fighter, she was a plotter, and something like this had to fall to her second in command. Looks wanted to offer herself. She was a superb fighter, top duelist in the magesterian academy, but Akane wouldn't allow her shield to be dented, that would just be a silly move. “Mmm~nom-nom-nom~ima get to platinum league.” Akane mumbled in her feigned sleeping, Looks keeping her usual serious look and eyeing Exia and her crew with extreme care. Looks was going to be far more useful than her mistress to this battle. Probably anybody in the Coven would feel the same thing she could feel, a strong magical presence within Exia's group, showing it's diversity and strength. With a telepathic spell, Looks projected her opinions to DJ and Lore, magic users who could receive such communication. “Careful. 'Tis be a group of immense power, I can feel a huge spike in the mana fields around us.” Looks peered over to the two, seeing if they received her message. Exia laughed when Chad provoked her to be his foe. A tall blonde girl wearing a black double breasted suit over a blue buttoned striped shirt and black dress pants with matching dress shoes walked over in front of Exia, smoking a long 12 inch cigarette. She held a white menu with some fancy gold lettering writing, Les Carte, looking down at Exia completely ignoring the confrontation they were having. “Here's today's menu, tell me if it looks good and I'll get to preparing it.” Exia looked up at this girl with short golden hair covering her left eye for a moment with a stern expression, before grinning and looking at Chad. “Oh-I'd love to dance with this douchewolf, but instead, you're going to fight our crew's chef.” The girl's lips fell agape as her long cigarette fell down, Exia only moving a finger to keep it from touching the ground and slowly lifting it back into the girl's mouth, letting her take a puff. The girl turned to look at Chad. She was standing at Chad's height, which was pretty tall for a girl. She stood up straight and closed the menu, taking a good look up and down at Chad before moving her lips so her cigarette shifted from a downward tilt to an upward tilt, then taking it away with her freehand and blowing a puff of smoke up in the air. “Guess we can skip on dessert then.” Exia smiled, “You're still doing the dishes.” Taking another puff, the chef girl turned briefly to take a glance at her leader. “Only if you don't get me killed this time.” Exia turned and scanned through her own group, her eyes settling on each person for no longer than a few seconds before finally decidin, turning back to Lore and Tails to bring them their opponents. “Since I'm having Crème on this group, I'm going to do a little gamble with Faith and Prince.” Up came a short red haired girl with short red hair, dressed more normally than the rest with just a simple white dress looking awfully un-threatening while a tall orange haired boy walked by her side, his hair nicely combed to match his handsome features, wearing a matching white dress tuxedo. Prince stood across from Lore, and Faith across from Tails. |

DJ's words puzzled Chad, for a start, he didn't knew of any coven, much less that DJ had founded one... Well, something new was learned every day right? Still she left pretty clear that Akane wasn't her leader. The wolf-boy knew DJ was even-matched against him, if not even stronger, so if she decided to fight... Things were going to be really short; she yet preferred... Lore... Chad couldn't prevent but turn to see Lore, he was a friend of his, he knew Lore was powerful, but... He also knew Lore wasn't much into fighting, not violent in kind, Lore seemed to the wolf-boy too frail to be brought in the fray... Yet he could tell that DJ wouldn't send Lore forth without thinking on it before and being sure he'd be fine... Besides, what could be the worse move? a gun? Chad was quite sure that Lore would disarm whoever was his opponent within seconds. Turning to Tails and his question, the wolf-boy shook his head... This wasn't for the Brigade, he'd make sure that Akane's computer couldn't connect to internet for a good long while for all this trouble... Not fighting for the Brigade Tails... This is for our kind and for our campus... And for my pack mostly... After this is over though, Akane will need to get a new computer. Chad stated, still looking straight to Exia. Lore meanwhile had pulled a piece of paper and stuck it under his arm, Chad couldn't see what it was, but he suspected it'd be painful for whoever got what was written on that piece of paper. He remembered that Lore's magic depended on art somehow, so... Yeah, that was going to hurt. Lore then turned to the wolf-boy, asking him to not hurt them too much... The wolf-boy let out a sigh and nodded. I'll try Lore... Chad said, looking to Lore and then back to Exia; she didn't take his challenge, instead, she offered to put her chef to fight. It seemed that even if the girl was big, she didn't like the idea of fighting Chad a lot... And personally, the wolf-boy didn't like the idea either. He growled and looked to Exia, no... Glared at her angrily. He hated this kind of persons, the ones that sent their groups to fight for them... cowards. She also summoned other two guys... Great, just great... Should have seen that coming, you don't have the guts to fight for your own group... coward. Chad said, his eyes pierced holes on Exia, her attitude was just the same of Akane, coward, using her followers to do the dirty job for her. He turned to see the other girl, his glare softening a lot If at any moment you feel like giving up, go ahead... I'm not gonna keep fighting if you surrender. The wolf-boy said, this would be good, perhaps he was being overconfident, but he had his reasons... He couldn't see or perceive magic, and for all he knew, he was one of the strongest fighters in the campus. |

“Squeeze my lemon”

It was easy to analyze the situation, but there were so many odd balls thrown into the mix that it was hard to make anything straight. For one, why did a street gang have a designated chef? It didn't look like it was just a name, either. The girl really did look ready to prepare a meal without a care for what was going on. If the name Crème was any sign of what was to come, then perhaps Chad had it easy. There were two 'flower child'-esque names randomly called out resulting in the presence of one burly young man and a petite young girl. By appearance, they looked a bit like dolls being all dressed up with rather sharp looking clothes, but that didn't say much for anything else. Despite being a Magi, Tails was not magically inclined, so while Looks gave her warnings to the Coven members, the young teen simply looked off towards the side trying to read the expressions of his current companions. Chad was as confident as ever, and Lore, while clearly not wanting to go through with it, was preparing for the fight nevertheless. It was a bit out of expectations, but then again, since joining the Coven, Lore seemed to grow a little more mature in his demeanor; he showed a bit more confidence than before. Tails merely shrugged as his companions explained their reasons for joining the fight. "Well, whatever the case," he replied, digging into his backpack to find his gloves, "It's good to have back up." However, he kept it strictly business. Perhaps a more noble individual would have offered to trade places with Lore as a means of tackling the bigger game, but again, that was not Tails. He looked at the more threatening male then back to the less threatening female, and with only the slightest of grins, whispered to Lore, "Good luck with your guy." After properly adjusting his gloves, Tails called out to Exia, "So how are we doing this? One-on-one fights back to back? Maybe one-on-one's simultaneously? Or even better, a full three-on-three no holds." He examined his new gear for a moment before continuing by saying, "I'd rather not do a tag match." Hopefully, the girl understood what he was talking about or else Tails had misjudged her. Edited by Lemon, Aug 14 2010, 11:49 AM.

"Ooo, I get to live in this SL?"
|
She was so proud of Lore. She always had been proud and everyday that she watched him grow, her heart grew as well. One day, he would grow up to be a strong leader, a just and noble gentleman that could represent what DJ wanted humanity to be all about. Honor, kindness, and love. She had hopes for the future that she wanted to change, and Lore would be her motivation that there were still good people in this world. As he stood next to her, she smiled at him and nodded once to him as if saying “I’m here too” She would be there as well, and though she couldn’t fight for the coven the way she wanted to, she knew she chose the right person, not because of his power, but because of his heart. Even if he lost… Even if they were defeated… All would know what the Coven of Keys represented. As the rains and the thunder seem to sound in the background, they did not come any closer. They weren’t going to get wet at this point. Demi looked to Tails and when Lore replied to him, she couldn’t agree more with Lore’s words. They were doing this to protect the school. He saw what she was about. As Lore warned Chad to be careful and not to hurt them too much. DJ remained silent. Chad knew that DJ would be watching him, just in case things got out of hand. She would intervene if the need came up. It was at this time that Akane, in her sleeping stupor, started to talk… though more about getting to a status in a video game… Somehow Demi didn’t think Akane was very worried about the events that would soon occur. Looks, however, was seemingly more aware. DJ felt the first wave of telepathic signels hit her, and she opened her mind up. She felt the waves travel to Lore as well, and when Demi looked to Looks…, She nodded and returned a message via the psychic link. ”…I felt it too… You be careful too. If someone in their group has that much magical power surging through them, things could become out of hand quickly. Protect Akane. If things get that far, I’ll step in and make a distraction. You get Akane, and everyone out of here.” Though the Brigade was a band of mischief loving bullies, DJ held a lot of respect for Looks. DJ knew Looks to be a skilled and powerful mage, and in a way, Demi looked to Looks the same two people in the same profession looked at each other. She knew, that if this gang decided to forget the fights and attack the school, Demi could rely on Looks to at least get some people to safety, if she decided not to fight, herself. It was then time for the fights to begin. Three fighters from the gang, and three from the Avalon Azura school. As Prince stood in front of Lore, DJ moved away to join Akane, Looks, and the rest of the crowd. ”Lore… be careful. I believe in you. What ever the match, as Tails asked, be it Three on Three brawl, one on one fights, or a tag team match. I believe in you.” Edited by Mirror Paw, Aug 10 2010, 08:42 PM.

Maybe it was the way Chad said it, but Exia became really irked when he called her a coward. She furrowed her brow as she lifted her left open palm up towards Chad. Just as her left shoulder swayed back, looking like she was going to push something in front of her, Crème's shifted her body so she could kick behind her, stopping Exia's push. Crème didn't turn away from Chad as she spoke, her long cigarette just sticking to the bottom of her lip. “The spectres will hear us if you do something that big. You just sit still and watch.” Exia's hand formed a fist while she just glared at Chad, feeling embarrassed that she had to be controlled by her own members like that. “If you don't beat him to pulp, I will.” Hearing DJ's and Lore's responses, Looks only nodded. They both had mutual understanding of each other's power, and honestly, if Looks didn't follow Akane, she'd most likely be following DJ. DJ was strong, especially for a caster that wasn't part of Looks's planar worlds, and for her strength, Looks also shared respect and admiration. Sometimes she would think about challenging DJ into a duel, but with all the fights Akane gets into, Looks just simply never had the time. The other two from Exia's group were relatively quiet. The handsome boy named Prince stood with his chin up high, acting like he it wasn't part of business while he stood across from Lore. The short red haired girl named Faith wasn't particularly threatening either, as she stood across from Tails, looking back at her leader with a worried look, her hands tugging onto the bottom of her white dress. She looked over at her opponent, Tails, when he called out to Exia. “Three one on one fights; one after another. Match-ups goes like this-” before Exia could finish, all three of her fighters raised their hand and yelled “last.” Blowing a puff of smoke with an annoyed look, Crème turned her head to face her fellow fighters. “If you two don't want lunch, I'm going last.” She took another drag of her cigarette after speaking, tilting her face to the side to avoid blowing the smoke into Chad's face. “ALRIGHT. Here's the set-up! Faith and Tails first, Prince and Lore second, and Chef against Douchebag last.” Exia's gangsters from behind grabbed a chair from somewhere and placed it on the floor behind Exia, letting her sit comfortably while she waited for everyone to get the place ready. Crème reached inside of her black double buttoned jacket and pulled out a sandwich wrapped in tin foil, handing it over to Chad. The sandwich was still warm and somehow kept in amazing shape since it was supposed to be hiding inside her jacket which didn't seem to have much room. “You have to eat first. You're not allowed to eat during lunch, it's bad for digestion to have rigorous exercise after eating. If you don't want it, give it back to me.” Crème didn't have a particular expression of hostility nor friendliness as she held the sandwich in front of him. She seemed rather apathetic, as if it was part of the whole process for her to give him something to eat. Prince and the rest of Exia's group started to back away to create space for Faith and Tails, Looks doing the same with Akane and her brigade. Even though this little red head didn't look like a ghetto murderer with machine guns hidden somewhere up her dress, Looks knew the better than to underestimate a stranger. She couldn't pin-point who in the group was exerting so much raw and rich magic into the air, but she was thinking it's going to be Lore's opponent. ![]() |

Lore was actually kind of glad he wasn't fighting a girl. Now, don't get him wrong, he had no inclinations that a girl could not whip his rear end from one end of the campus to the other. However, he had been taught to treat girls right... And of course, it was the age old paradox of "Follow chivalry or die." But at the same time, he knew his mother would easily call him simple for his choice to not fight, that a human trying to hurt you was a human that you had to defend yourself again, regardless of who or what they were. All in all... he was kind of glad that he got the tall, orange haired boy. He had never fought before... so at least he wouldn't have the hesitation added on to all of his other hesitations about fighting, such as hurting another person. When the telepathic communication hit, he shuddered. DJ had done this before and it didn't feel any less weird this time around. He heard the communication between Looks and DJ and just nodded to Looks before looking back at the group in front of them. He hadn't had a second where he underestimated them. Small children that could blow up a city, that could engulf an area in a raging blizzard. Who was he to underestimate people like them when in their own school, that was the kind of thing that happened on a normal basis? "I... know DJ," Lore said, obviously growing less and less confident of himself by the minute, "I'll try my best, okay?" 'Even if I do get smashed in to the ground... |

Chad smirked when Exia readied to attack him, light blue sparks jumping around his arms and down his body as he too readied to fight... However, the chef insisted in fighting Chad, and said the spectres would hear them if Exia did whatever she was planning to do... Tch... If you really wanted, or could, you would have decided to fight yourself from a start. Chad said to Exia, her threats were hollow to him. Next thing said was the order... Or at least an attempt to put an order. Everyone in Exia's group asked for the last spot... Chad smirked and shook his head, really, these were her fighters? Anyone in his pack would be willing to jump forth and fight first if it meant to defend the pack and their home... In a good measure, it was the reason for Chad to not even contact anyone there... As the Alpha he reserved the right to be the first to fight, the first to defend his pack, just as any good leader should. Crème avoided blowing her smoke on Chad's face, all in all, from this thugs group, she was the only one the wolf-boy had liked so far, she had guts to not decline the fight, and more so, to stop Exia. With the order set, Chad shook his head and looked over to Tails. Go ahead dude, I'm pretty sure you'll get this over soon. Chad said, however before he could move to make space for the fight, Crème reached inside of her jacket and pulled a sandwich, offering it to the wolf-boy. Puzzled by the gesture, the wolf-boy stared at Crème, trying to figure out what she meant with Lunch, and more so, why she was offering it to the wolf-boy? It didn't have any particular scent coming that made it suspicious to the wolf-boy, and it looked pretty common... What was the trick with this? Handing the sandwich back to the girl, the wolf-boy shook his head I'll invite you a meal after we're done with this... Personally though, I'd rather fight Exia if she's so eager and claims to be your leader... It's not fair that others end hurt for her pride. The wolf-boy stated, turning to see Exia. It wasn't because he didn't consider the girl a worthy opponent, but because he didn't consider Exia a worthy leader if she couldn't fight, or didn't fight, for her group first. The groups backed away, the wolf-boy though was left with a bitter taste in his mouth, and anger in his heart... Crème was so far a nice person, and to the wolf-boy, Exia was abusing this. She knows she has no chance, so she sends someone instead of herself... I don't want to hurt that girl, she's not responsible of this mess... She's not the one looking for a fight, it's Exia and Akane... I'll try to KO her without hurting her much, maybe just convince her to give up if I can... The wolf-boy thought... He wished it was that easy. Turning to see DJ, the wolf-boy knew she and Lore were worried, he too was worried... Tails would be fine, he was pretty sure everyone representing the campus would be fine, but... What about the other side? Lore had said Chad shouldn't go over the edge, and the wolf-boy knew Lore wouldn't try to hurt badly his opponent... But what if they did? What if they ended really hurt? What if they were killed? It was in the middle ground of Chad's moral, on one hand they were defending their home and their groups, on the other, the opponents weren't the ones causing the threat... |

“Squeeze my lemon”
|
To each their own for as Chad thought of the consequences over what was about to happen, Tails was focused on the task at hand. He already knew all the implications of starting a fight on campus grounds. He already knew the limits he placed on himself on which weapon he could use when. He already knew there was no longer a chance to back out. What he didn't know was his opponent and what she was capable of. To say Tails was cocky would be wrong. However, he was not scared, either. He held a deep-seeded calm which could be seen by the very way he stood amidst the opening created as the two sides backed away. His head was held level, locked on his opponent as if they were the only two people present. He took a few steps forward before stopping to say, "Faith, was it? Do you know the standards of a street brawl? We'll go by those rules." That is to say, anything goes, but if the opponent is knocked out or unable to fight, that was it. Nobody was taking a life today. Of course, there were greater restrictions placed on the young Avalon student who was technically not allowed to fight on campus grounds. He was walking a fine line, one that would get him expelled if he so much as stepped off the edge. Weapons were strictly forbidden outside of the Bushido Chambers, but with his backpack still strapped on and his weapons secretly tucked inside, he wouldn't feel an ounce of hesitation to pull the big guns out assuming the fight turned for the worst. But for now, the opening move would be simple unarmed confrontation. There was no stance for the style Tails employed. He stood ever defiant with his hands already balled into fists. A methodical roll of the neck and a pop of the back was all he needed to relax his body. After which, the young teen began his slow approach. In a low tone, he issued his own starting mark. "Ready... go." And at that, he went for the first strike; a lightning quick punch to the abdomen, looking to wind Faith long enough to finish the fight in a single, devastating follow-up combination. "Ooo, I get to live in this SL?"
|
DJ watched as Exia sent her first fighter into the battlefield that as Azura Avalon school grounds. Dj found it hard not to become numb to the fact Azura and Avalon was so violent. Even people from outside of the school came onto the school property and caused trouble. Why did this group find a need to venture all the way here across the ocean on a ferry or the underground/ under sea tram, just to get to the island and get to the school gates? It seemed pointless, and right now DJ was wondering what else was going to come to the school. With a deep breath, Demi tried to clear her mind so she can open up another link to psychically talk to Looks. ”I believe the one with the big power waves thing something is staying in the middle of their group on purpose. With so many life energies around I can’t pinpoint exactly who is giving off the waves… it’s like looking for nargles in the pumpkin patch. No use trying without a calculator… If you sense who exactly is the one, please send me a warning. My worst fears is…it will be Lore’s opponent. Right now, DJ’s biggest concern wasn’t whether Exia’s cook was going to win, but whether ot not that powerful magic user was planning on doing some serious damage. Someone that strong and pushing out his energy like that was not someone that was level headed. Looks, Lore, and Demi all knew the price of omnipotence. Magic was powerful and addicting, and could seep into your mind. It took a great person of will to resist the temptations of magic’s lure, and someone that strong was someone that had given into it. Looks, DJ, and Lore all had practiced, disciplined spirits and arts. They worked hard to keep their powers in control and practiced. That was how they didn’t go crazy. The most powerful wizards and mages in the world were always the most insane. DJ was betting this person in Exia’s ground was bordering the insanity line. As the cook gav Chad a sandwich, DJ kind of blinked. She made a worried face as Chad gave her the sandwich back. Don’t underestimate her, Chad… DJ thought to herself. She wanted to scream out at the wolf boy to still keep his guard up and be careful. This wasn’t your ordinary gang. They had a cook for one thing, and they were holding some pretty intense wild cards in the mix. DJ stood next to Lore and just waited for something bad to happen. Tails and Faith were up first, and she didn’t think this was going to end well. For one thing, Faith seemed like a seasoned fighter. Thoguh Tails was a good fighter as well, she wasn’t all that sure Exia’s group would lend a hand somehow. When it came down to it, she was worried for tails because she assumed the Gang wouldn’t play fair, regardless of them being the ones setting the rules. As Tails went for the first move, DJ placed her hand over her mouth. Wow. He was quick. As the punch flew through the air, DJ’s chest clenched up and she held her breath. Inside, she cheered for tails to beat the other girl, as violent as that may sound. She just wanted them to win. Edited by Mirror Paw, Aug 22 2010, 01:18 AM.

Crème just kind of looked away and nodded when Chad kindly declined her offer for a sandwich. She didn't take it personally, there were so many factors and justifiable reasons for him to decline it would be outrageous for her to take something so insignificant to heart. In her serious tone with a sprinkle of a French accent, Crème just walked away as she spoke, "See you after lunch." Her hands were in her pocket while she continued smoking onto that cigarette, walking away back into the crowd to attend to her own affairs. Exia was provoked, but Crème gave her a look that told her to restrain herself, which she did with great hesitation. While Akane did request her loyal bodyguard Looks to carry her back to her room, she couldn't help but feel a little desire to watch her own second-in-command fight. After all, he was her represent, she should be watching. So with a hand gesture, Looks lowered Akane to her feet, showing the world that "Yes, Akane can stand on her feet." Looks only nodded to DJ while they got in the ring around the fight. As with the whole magic community, their methods are different, and everyone from Looks's plane was taught to understand and accept each other's ways of action. "GO GET'UM TAILS. SHOW THAT LITTLE GIRL HOW WE DO IT!" Akane screamed out with her hands by her mouth, seeming like she was getting much more excited and enthusiastic about this. People from both sides cheered their fighter on, and Exia sat on a chair her gangsters pulled out for her, a huge grin on her lips while she looked at her fighter. The red haired girl was a good head shorter than Tails and honestly didn't look intimidating at all. When Tails spoke out to her, she nodded and responded, "Of course." As soon as Tails packed his fists, Faith took her hands and covered her face, standing completely still with her face hidden. When his fist came, Faith took it without even attempting to dodge it. A female grunt followed after Faith bent over, falling on her knees as her hands opened up from her face. Everyone gasped as she looked up with a grin, her face looking exactly like Akane's as her hair grew from red to black, slowly copying Akane's every feature. The moan didn't come from Faith though, it came from Tail's mistress, Akane, whom fell backwards into Looks's arms. Akane glared at this girl while her eyes winced in pain, winded by her own second's punch. "We call her Faith. Because she tests the conviction of your people. How far are you willing to go to win this fight?" Exia said loudly, looking at Tails while glancing over to Akane. Looks didn't take this nicely at all, as she immediately reached into her pocket and pulled out her wand, which caused the other gangsters to pull out their guns, immediately having everybody at a standoff with their weapons. "So what's it going to be? You help him and you forfeit the match." |

“Squeeze my lemon”

There was nothing complex about Tails' opening strategy. Go in for a fast and powerful combination in hopes of ending the fight within the first attack. When his straight to the gut connected beautifully, he was already revved for the follow up. An uppercut to the left jaw, cross punch to the right, step in to overcome defenses, one-two combo to the ribs and finish with a hook to the cheek for dramatic flair. She would go staggering backwards, disoriented enough to finally collapse, but in a few minutes, she would be back on her feet with only mild bruises across her body; possibly a dislocated jaw at worst. However, that simplistic plan went awry on the first blow. Things took a turn for the worst when Tails quickly learned that Faith wasn't an ordinary human. Just as he readied his uppercut on a perfect path to connect with her unguarded jaw, there was the briefest moment of hesitation that lasted just long enough for the young teen to catch sight and sound of his distressed leader. It was a startling enough cause for the fighter to pull back on his punch. Instead of landing a staggering blow, it was eased into a tap of the chin. He stepped back with his fists raised halfway to the ready as Faith performed a surreal transformation. In only a few moments, he was staring at a near duplicate of Ms. President, only different by the clothing. Instinctively, the youth's eyes darted towards the original and began to understand the situation. It was then did Exia issue her remarks, and the most deadly of all types of standoffs broke out. The young agent was actually surprised that the invading gang was packing guns. Not only were firearms hard to acquire in Japan, but they were walking around with them on their body like it was nobody else's business. Clearly, he underestimated them because of their unorthodox appearance. Not only that, but it looked like some of them had powers as well which further fueled the complications. Looking back to the duplicate of Ms. President, Tails recollected his thoughts. Getting filled with hot lead was not on his to-do list, so the alternate was far more appealing. Besides, he had no intention of inflicting harm to Ms. President whether direct or indirect. "No forfeits," the young fighter announced. "The fight continues." And yet, he didn't look to be getting into any fighting stances. He turned to speak over his shoulder to say, "It's fine. I needed a handicap, anyways." It was actually another handicap, considering how his body was still recovering from bruises during previous sessions of combat, but nobody needed to know that. The adrenaline was masking most of the pain which he was causing on himself from the strenuous activity. Turning his attention back to Faith, Tails spoke with stoic indifference. "You have the advantage. Show me what you can do." It was a challenge. Tails was clearly bigger and stronger, so the fight had become more or less even, and while the Brigade representative had no intentions of backing out, he also had no intentions of losing either. He would find a way to win somehow, but for now, his focus was on defending himself. Of course, street fighters like Tails didn't rely on defense so much as enduring the attacks, so there was a good chance the fight would boil down to whoever could last the longest. Who said we suffer insanity? We enjoy every minute of it.

The chef retreated to the rest of the crowd after taking the sandwich back, somehow the wolf-boy felt bad for having rejected it, however he knew better than to just pick a sandwich before a fight... He'd have time later on to eat. Akane seemed to change her mind and asked to be set on the ground, the wolf-boy couldn't decide if that was good or if it wasn't, however she was going to stay and cheer for Tails... Not that he needed a cheerleader, more like a boss that thought less about herself and more about him. The first fight was going to start now, Chad crossing his arms on his chest, to most this posture would seem indifferent, but to anyone that knew the wolf-boy, it was a ready to attack posture since it allowed him to reach his guns faster. Faith and Tails had a brief, really brief exchange of words before the fight began, Tails going in for the first attack while Faith covered her face with her hands... What was she doing? The answer came when Faith revealed she had turned into a copy of Akane... When had that happened? Chad let out a growl, to him that was playing dirty, although admittedly, he let out a chuckle when Akane fell backwards... So she was receiving the pain of the fight after all? Exia explained the reason behind the nickname... Chad now had a guess about the ability of his opponent, and truth be told, found it funny... But he'd have to wait until the actual fight to test it out. That however was interrupted when Looks pulled out her wand, this alone got the things downhill as the gangsters pulled out their guns, needless to say, Chad was swift to draw too, aiming to the place where Exia was... Even if one of her guards was covering her, Chad knew one bullet could easily pierce... He was also standing before DJ, he wasn't going to risk having her hurt because of Akane. Exia, get your subordinates disarmed... This is between our groups and a gunfight can hurt or kill innocents here, also for quite stupid reasons... Don't make a simple problem something more complicated... Chad said... He didn't like this at all, even though they had the advantage, simply because DJ could heal them and Chad could most likely gun down everyone on the other side, the wolf-boy didn't want to reach that point... Killing was something he did when necessary, and in this case it was not. Tails however stated he wasn't forfeiting the match, the wolf-boy however wouldn't lower his weapons until the other faction did so. He didn't trust them one bit, and his eyes were scanning them constantly, changing his aim as someone else tried to aim on him, Lore or DJ... Akane? Akane had looked for this and Looks was there to protect her, knowing the girl's power, Chad knew guns were of little consequence to her. |

Exia raised her fist up and stood from her chair when Tails bravely announced that he was not going to surrender and continue the match. "Well said! That is exactly the thing that we're looking for! YOU!" She pointed to Tails with her a grin, "You're not bad." Exia shook her hand to make her members put down their weapons, which they reluctantly did while Looks and the other side started putting down their weapons. "The fight continues!" Exia announced, sitting back down on her chair. Everybody kind of knew that guns weren't really going to pack a punch in a fight like this, it was pretty much just for show. "KICK HER ASS!" Akane cheered, Looks looking extremely ticked off as she held onto her wand. Thinking about her comment and the situation, Akane immediately retracted her statement, "WAIT WAIT WAIT! DON'T KICK HER ASS! NOT THE FACE! DON'T HIT HER TAILS." Akane was certainly not a very good representative of the campus. If Faith picked Chad, he probably would have endured the pain and beaten the girl into a pulp. Back in the fight, Tails issued Faith a challenge. It was a clever idea, getting someone like Faith who seems to rely on being hit to attack. Perhaps he wanted a test of stamina and endurance? Even though this was Faith's first big street fight, she wasn't going to fall for that sort of thing. Faith, with Akane's image, reached into her dress and pulled out two short knives. Her fingers tilted them so they pointed towards herself while her eyes gave a wink at Tails. This wasn't going to be a test of who can last the longest between Tails and Faith, it was going to be between Tails and his mistress. Holding the knife up high, she attempted to plunge the knives into her chest, causing Akane's eyes to widen while Looks screamed. |

Lore’s eyes widened as the fight began. He had to cringe when he saw the first punch thrown, but this was ridiculous! How could they force someone to fight against their friend?! And not only that, but Akane was receiving the damage as well! Lore gasped as he looked towards DJ, his eyes wide as he asked, “Is that allowed?!” Part of him knew it was, but he still couldn’t believe it! That was just playing dirty! Lore clenched his fist. He couldn’t believe it. Knowing himself, he wouldn’t be able to do anything if he was in Tail’s place. He wouldn’t be able to hurt someone like DJ. His head slowly shook. This was horrible. Were these the type of people they were supposed to be fighting? He heard Tails concede and almost had to smile. That was the Tails he knew! Tails would never hurt a friend! Of course, he didn’t quite realize that he knew little to nothing about Tails, but still! Tails was Tails and Lore thought that Tails was one of the nicer people on campus. He couldn’t be more wrong; however, he was blissful in his innocent naivety of his ‘friend’. But he couldn’t help to stare as he watched the girl take out a knife. Part of him wanted to leap forward and do something; however his entire body was completely stunned. What in the world was going to happen?! "D... DJ!" |

“Squeeze my lemon”

A new strategy was what Tails needed and fast. Thinking over the few details he knew about Faith's powers, the young tactician could already see many failed plans and even more unknown consequences to untested strategies. He could go in hard and fast, taking her down along with Ms. President, but at this point, he didn't want to push the envelop when other possibilities were still open. Waiting it out to see if her powers would just stop on their own was a fool's choice. It would just give Faith free reign to pound the non-defensive fighter into submission. All options considered, Tails' best bet was to go for a technical knockout; put Faith in a choke hold long enough for his victory to be declared yet not long enough for Ms. President to suffer any permanent damage. Of course, no plan went unaltered, and as his opponent pulled a pair of knives from out her dress, Tails quickly changed his priorities. Even before Faith raised the two knives into the air, the young teen was already closing the distance at full speed. He figured she wouldn't make the approach even after he issued his challenge, so the knives must have been for herself. It was an ultimatum of the most concerning type: was she willing to double suicide for an uncouth "win" or did Tails have enough courage to recklessly enter striking range without any plan in mind? Seeing as how he was already bull rushing Faith, the answer was clear. Without even slowing down, the young fighter reached out with one hand in order to interlock their arms and prevent one of the knives from plunging into flesh. The other knife, however, was blocked by allowing the metal tip to dig into his own back as a last second decision. That split moment -- when Tails stopped one blow and took another -- followed quickly by the meanest of tackles. He steamrolled through the feathery light girl and unintentionally pounded her into the ground. Instead of concerning himself with Ms. President's safety, his attention was focused on the deadly blades of his opponent. Using his free arms, Tails tried slapping the weapons free from Faith's grasp and hopefully far enough that they wouldn't be a concern. All the while, he frisked her dress without reservation, checking to see if she had any more knives on her body. Public opinion might think he was taking the opportunity to molest a girl in broad daylight, but his fighting instinct couldn't care less what spectators saw. This was a fight, and he wasn't about to lose it just because of a hidden knife sheathed into his back. Another one, that is. Edited by Lemon, Sep 21 2010, 10:21 AM.
