Deleted User	THE HERALD LOVES HORROR: SCARY STORY GAME How to play: The Herald's Pumpkinlings LOVES horror TOO! The pumpkinlings have set up a little campfire in the Murial Grounds, so other students can come and tell their ghastly tale! The objective of this game is to write a short story of what YOUR CHARACTER would find most terrifying! It doesn't necessarily have to be scary itself, but as long as your character would just cry in tears if they think about this story, then that will do! There is no word limit! So go write! THE ONLY RULE IS: KEEP IT PG-13! IF THERE ARE DECAPITATIONS (<3) DON'T MAKE IT TOO GROTESQUE. PRIZES! HA! This is a ONE ROUND ONLY game, so the prizes will be larger than the other games! There will be at least two categories players will vote for. (Yes YOU vote in the end.) If there is a high amount of submissions, more categories will be added. The categories are: Most Terrifying: JESUS! No wonder your character's afraid of this nightmare! EVEN I FIND IT SCARY TOO! Most Enjoyable: I want to print this, bind this to a cover, and read it to myself before I sleep every Halloween. This is just so entertaining, a great piece to read. Prizes for the winners of these two categories are: 45 lol tokens! and maybe a secret item. All participants will receive: 10 lol tokens. Closing date for the submissions is: 21 OCTOBER. SO START WRITING! - Voting begins on 22nd - 23rd October - Winners will be declared on midnight of the 23rd!

Posts: 286 Group: Student Council Member #23 Joined: Oct 29, 2008 Gender: Female Characters: Jordan Baker ~ Sky Ayatsuri and Hakkai Shimobe-Freed ~ Corrigan Relifar ~ Yemonkita Hachisuka ~ Creed Soma	Hakkai and Sky had just been passing through... in the middle of the night ( >.>; ). The fire caught their attention and they realized it was one of those circles where you tell ghost stories. They did this at home during halloween time, usually as some sort of family reunion thing where the family would sit together and tell a story from the passed year that was creepy or scary. Looking at the pumpkin creatures around the fire, and any students who also happened to be there, "Something very creepy happened... when Sky and I were little. Being the adventurous kids we were, we decided to check out one of the unused houses on our family's property-" "That was your idea." Sky gave her a side-long glance. "Be quiet. You followed. Anyway... so, we entered the house after borrowing the key and explored it. Even though all the houses mostly looked the same, this one was different." She could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she thought of the story. Sky was also looking a little squirmy, "It was a completely different layout, and the stairs were narrow, covered in shadows. Sky got scared and wouldn't let me go up-" "Not true." "Be quiet. You didn't go up either." She cleared her throat, "So, we decided to explore the first floor. Now, mind you, we were completely sure no one lived there, since there was a list of who lived where and no one was listed for that house. Also, there were never any lights... oh, except for that one time... one of the windows was lit in the middle of the night. It's what made us interested in the house to begin with." Hakkai took a deep breath, glancing at Sky, whose eyes were on her the whole time, "So, we were exploring the first floor, when suddenly, there's a creak in the ceiling, as if someone was walking. And this house was built a long time ago, so it had already settled into itself. It would only creak if there was pressure. We stopped and listened, our heart beats deafening in our ears. There was another creak and another... heading toward the narrow stairs... if we had tried to make a break for the door, we would have been spotted by whatever was there, so we decided to hide in the empty pantry. "A few minutes passed and we didn't hear anything, until suddenly, the water from the sink turned on! I was so scared, I almost screamed, but Sky saved me and clamped his hand over my mouth. Looking our of the crack in between the party doors, we looked toward the sink... but nothing was there... and the water was still running." A sudden movement by her hand caught her attention and she looked down, seeing Sky's hand move to hers and grasp it tightly. With a smile, she continued, "We waited a long time and left the pantry, leaving the water running to hide any sounds we made. The door was really close and there was no sign of whatever it was..." She stood up suddenly, "We ran to the door! And just as we opened it, a glass fell from the stairs, shattering at our feet! Up the stairs we saw a white figure, crouching at us, his eyes glowing... it was sadako! An evil spirit that would steal your soul and make bad things happen to you if you stared into it's eyes for more than three seconds! As the sadako made it's way quickly down the stairs at us, we ran through the door and locked it as fast as we could, and ran home!" Sitting back down, she placed her free hand on her chest and sighed, her heart pounding really fast. She could feel the quick pulse in Sky's hand as well. So he was still scared by the story. Of course, what they failed to tell the pumpkinlings was that they soon found out that it was just an pre-dawn Evo who was staying there as a safe haven. This particular evo had been born pale and with white hair and could move extremely fast as well as hover a few inches off the ground. It hadn't been crouching at them at all. Startle by them running to the door, he slipped on the steps and dropped the glass of water he had come down to get. It was a misunderstanding, but to this day, it was a hella scary one.

"...but not nargles..." Posts: 339 Group: Student Council Member #45 Joined: Dec 10, 2008 Gender: Male	One dark and stormy night, far off in the outskirts of the city, Issac, Raven, and DJ were driving home from a mandatory class trip with anyone receiving a lower score of 80% on a math test. The trip was boring, and the three were extremely tired. Now it was time to go home. But, in the midst of the rain and thunder, Issac’s van started to make funny noises. Rumble, crack, rumble. It wasn’t a good sound and before they knew it, the Van had come to a complete halt with smoke coming out of the hood. The trio were extremely displeased with the happenings of the night, but luckily for them, in the distance they saw a motel. Raven, being the one with the least amount of patients, set off to the motel without DJ and Issac. Wet and cold, Raven arrived at the motel and demanded a room. However, the motel clerk, an old wrinkled woman with an eerie smile told Raven that all their rooms were filled except one, and they never let anyone take that room. Raven glared at the woman and asked why. In reply the old woman told Raven that the room was haunted. Rave immediately laughed and said she didn’t believe in ghost and once again demanded a room. The old lady complied with a grin and handed Raven the key. So the angry Filipina finally got to the room and laid down on the bed. It was a normal room, and for an hour, everything was fine, until… She heard it. ”I’m…going to get….youuuu… I’m going to GET YOUUUUUUU… Raven jumped up from her bed at the voice and looked around, but there was no one. Heart racing, breath hard, Raven ran out of the room, and ran out of the motel screaming and back out into the rain. Meanwhile, Issac and DJ had decided the van was unfixable, at least with their skills at hand. So Issac suggested they go to the motel where Raven was. DJ shook her head and told Issac she’ll stay in the van a little longer. Maybe if she wore her radish earrings long enough the nargles would leave the van’s engine alone. So Issac left for the motel. When he got there he met the same old woman. He politely asked for a room, and once again the old lady said none were available. Except the haunted one. Issac blinked and yawned. He then joked to the lady he won’t mind a ghost if it was a hot ghost and they could make clay pottery. The lady grimaced and handed Issac the key. When Issac got into the room, he heard it immediately. ”I’m goooooing to geeeeet Yooooouuuuu… Issac a beleiver in the paranormal, stopped in his tracks in fear. And when his legs were able to move again, he turned out the door and ran back to the lobby. And soon, he ran out in the pouring rain screaming. DJ, back in the broken down van, sighed that the nargles were still messing with the engine. So she decided to go meet Issac and Raven at the motel. She walked in the rain and when she got to the motel she smiled lightly as requested a room. The lady told her all rooms were taken except one. One that was haunted. DJ nodded and told the old lady: yes, that one please…. So the old woman gave her the key. When DJ got to the room, she immediately laid down on the bed and closed her eyes. But that was when she heard it. The voice. ”I’m gooooooing to GET YOU!” Right away, DJ sat up from her bed and looked around. No one, but the voice was coming from the closet. So DJ slowly walked over to the closet door and slowly put her hand on the handle. With a hard gulp, DJ opened the closet door to find… Nyuu… Picking her nose and saying. ”I’m goooing to get you!… Ooo! I got you!” Nyuu then showed the booger to DJ.
