(((ooc this topic follows immediately after her history and I'm planning for it to end up in the medical ward ooc)))

She was here. Now what?

The rain was coming down rather hard and only added to the feeling of cold. She couldn't be any more drenched than she already was. The building loomed in the distance, and with the boat gone already, there was no turning back. Even in the rain, with dark clouds all around, the building seemed more inviting than anything she had ever seen.

Step after step seemed like an eternity, and there was no one around, all headed for shelter by the rain. This was the second time she had felt rain, and she knew it wouldn't hurt her, but now that she wasn't being held by another warm body, it was extremely cold.

Exhausted and utterly weak, the girl made her last steps only a yard or two away from the school entrance. She tried to remain standing, but her knees gave out and she fell, landing in the mud. Her white sun dress was covered in mud now, but she had no cares for that sort of thing.

Her hand reached out toward the school and she bite her lip, sending her written thoughts into floating words. The only words that came to mind flickered in and out of view.

Help... cold... lost... help...

Those words kept flickering about, one by one, dimming every second until she could no longer keep the words from disappearing. Hopelessness washed over her and she closed her dull purple eyes. Her fear was starting to ebb away as darkness creeped along the edges of her vision.

Was this what it felt like for those people in the world who were mercilessly killed? Was it this cold? This lonely? How sad...

Rain. Now this was something Aria had never had the pleasure of experiencing. She had heard stories of the different kinds of weather on Earth, but now she was experiencing it. The cool water fell over her body as she stood outside, and after a while she spread her wings and flew up into the clouds, soaring as the water rushed over her, not caring at all about making her clothes wet.

She saw something flickering down below, and her eyes turned to look at it. Help... cold... lost... help... The words sent her mind into concern as she searched for the source, and she saw the muddied body collapsed on the ground. She quickly up-righted herself, falling to the Earth with only her wings as a parachute. As soon as she landed, she raced over to the body laying in the mud as the words faded from existence.

Aria fell to her knees and examined the figure. It appeared to be a female, with hair much like hers and wearing a sun dress. She didn't dwindle on the looks of her very long, merely reaching out and touching the girl's skin. She was cold, colder than the water that plastered both of their bodies. She touched the pulse on the girl's wrist, finding that it was also fading fast.

There was nothing else for it. Aria hooked her arms underneath the body, bringing the girl close to her own body as she carefully picked her up. The adrenaline coursing through Aria's person helped her lift the body, her large black wings curling around the both of them to keep them warm. Aria walked towards the front doors of the school, her mind set on bringing the girl to the Health Labs within for immediate attention.

The darkness had almost completely taken her vision when something appeared in the corner of her eye. It moved closer and she fought to stay awake and find out what it was. Her hair was red and her eyes too. The girl who stood over her had something C-9 had never seen before... wings. Was this an angel? B-185 had told her about etherial beings that came to take people away when their time in this world was over. But these wings were black... maybe she still had more time here than she thought.

A warmth spread through her as the girl lifted her from the ground and the wings wrapped around them. She was tired and needed rest, and in the warmth of the dark angel, fell asleep.

*health labs*

The nurse had checked over C-9 and made sure she was stable before taking some blood samples. This girl wasn't a student yet, but was obviously an evo, or something like it. When she woke, a form would be filled out for her enrollment in the school.

On the bed, C-9 looked insanely uncomfortable, even though her clothes had already been changed and she was laying in a comfortable looking gown. Fortunately, the nurse had kept the headphones on. There was no music coming from them, and they seemed to be built to stay on a head for long periods of time, so they must be there for a reason.

"Ms. Aria, thank you for bringing her in. She'll be fine after a good night-" The nurse smiled, but stopped and looked at the bed where the red haired girl had sat up, looking very tired and very distressed. She had no clue where she was, and was too tired to really do much about it. For all she knew, she was back with those scientists, "Oh, you've woken up already? Go back to sleep, dear."

The girl tilted her head in confusion and made a motion with her hands that seemed to be asking for a notepad and pen. The nurse was quick to respond and handed the items to her. Slowly and carefully, she wrote on the paper.

"Please write what you say. I can't hear you."

She handed back the paper and the nurse hummed over it before writing what she had said a minute ago. C-9 quickly responded with...

"I can't. I am not comfortable here."

Looking at Aria, the girl tried to make a small smile, but he came out as more of an exhausted grimace, but the message would hopefully get across.

All the while when the girl slept, Aria watched with a concerned gaze. The girl was wearing headphones that looked like they were meant to stay there, and the nurses seemed to notice. As she was sitting beside the bed, one of the nurses came up to her with a smile. "Ms. Aria, thank you for bringing her in. She'll be fine after a good night-"

She was cut off by the girl sitting up, looking uncomfortable, distressed, and confused. "Oh, you've woken up already? Go back to sleep, dear." said the nurse, but the girl didn't seem to hear her, motioning towards a notepad and pen. So she is unable to hear, mused Aria, Perhaps that is why she chooses to wear the headphones so securely...

The girl smiled a strained smile at her, at which Aria smiled back. she turned towards the nurse, holding out her hands towards the notebook. "I am glad she is alright, and that I could help. If you don't mind, I would like to speak with her as well." The nurse nodded and handed Aria the notepad and paper, on which Aria began to write.

Hello, said her untidy text, I am Aria. I'm glad you are alright. May I ask your name? Is there anything else I can do for you? After the message was finished, she handed the notepad and pen back to the girl to wait for her response.

The nurse nodded and handed Aria the notebook, "I'll go and make some tea for the both of you. Ms. Aria, after you finish speaking-erm, writing with her, I'd like to request that you change clothes. We have some spare clothes in the back."

C-9 watched the nurse suspiciously, shifting uncomfortably. Not all the scientists were men, there had been a few women as well, but she didn't get to interact with them much. Even so, a female in a white jacket means experiments and such.

She took back the notebook and read it over, trying to read it through her tired, blurry eyes. The pen touched the paper for a moment and she began writing back.

I am labeled C-009. Yes. Where is this place? Are you an angel? The lady in the white jacket. Did she ask you to bring me here? Will she let me leave?

C-9 looked up as the woman came back with two cups of something hot and some papers. She handed the notebook to Aria quickly, afraid that the nurse would see what she wrote and be offended. The nurse smiled and set the cups down on the bedside table with a jar of something golden and a few spoons, "I wasn't sure what kind of tea you liked, so I made sweet milk instead. Ms. Aria, would you mind telling her what I said, and ask if she would like honey?"

Aria took the notebook back, examining the writing and watching the distressed girl. She chuckled at the irony of C-009 calling her an angel, as she wrote her reply.

This is the medical ward inside of the Azura/Avalon school campus. I brought you here after I found you collapsed on the ground, and considering your ability, I expect you might be going to school here? She hesitated slightly before continuing her message, looking a bit pained.

As for me being an angel, I fear I am the exact opposite. I do not mean to cause you alarm, but I am a demon. My assumption would be that you will be allowed to leave when the nurse deems you to be healthy enough to do so, or if you are stubborn enough to defy her wishes. She smirked at this slightly, and heard some noises nearby.

The nurse had returned, with two cups and some papers that were no doubt the entry forms C-009 would have to fill out to be a full-fledged student. "I wasn't sure what kind of tea you liked, so I made sweet milk instead. Ms. Aria, would you mind telling her what I said, and ask if she would like honey?"

The nurse says she made some sweet milk for us because she didn't know what kind of tea we liked. she wrote, parroting the nurses words. She asks if you would like some honey. She handed the notepad back to C-009, turning back towards the nurse.

"Thank you for the drink. No honey for me, please. I dislike the sweetness of it." she wrinkled her nose, thinking of one time where she had been unfortunate enough to try the stuff. It was quite sickening, in her opinion.

Taking the notebook back, C-9 slowly read over it, trying to understand everything. There were a few words that she wouldn't have understood without the help of the words around it. So this was a school. She had seen pictures of such things on the computer, but she had also seen them on the videos, being destroyed with people inside, praying in vain for rescue.

I do not go to school here, but if it will keep the men in white from capturing me again, I'd like to stay here.

So this girl was a demon. At least she hadn't been sent to take her to hell. The nurse would let her go... that was good. In the meantime, she would make sure the woman didn't do any experiments on her.

A demon. Interesting. Is this school a meeting place for people like you and me? What happens here?

As for the sweet milk, C-9 tilted her head, confused. Honey? What was that? She saw the jar of golden gel stuff and became entranced, writing slower, barely able to take her eyes from the heavenly looking substance.

I would like honey, yes.

A spoon covered in honey was placed in her cup and handed to her. Another cup, without the honey, was handed to Aria.

"I found out some things from the blood test." She took a spare piece of paper and wrote everything down in simple terms, and then explained allowed while C-9 read the paper, "I was trying to figure out whether or not she is an evo or magi. It turns out, beyond all reason and logic, she is both. Her dna has the same features as both an evo and magi, despite the major conflicts. What I'm about to tell you was left out of my note to her, so please don't tell her. Her form is unstable and fragile. I don't know the full extent of her situation yet, but if it's as bad I think it may be, she may not live for very long... even the equipment here can't help her."

Aria read the note again, another look of concern spreading over her face. Men in white? she questioned to herself, writing down a question mark of her own by it in hopes that the girl might explain.

She also wrote some more words to help explain. I may not be an angel, but I am here to help you however I can. This school is like a private school for people like you and me, yes. Here we learn to harness and discover our abilities, whatever they might be.

She listened to the nurse explain that C-009 was a blend between both a magi and an evotelluric. She nodded in understanding, as she had a vague idea of what magi were, and she knew that evotelluric DNA tended to mix with anything it managed to get its hands on. However there seemed to be a note of concern in the nurses voice, at which she listened intently.

"... What I'm about to tell you was left out of my note to her, so please don't tell her. Her form is unstable and fragile. I don't know the full extent of her situation yet, but if it's as bad I think it may be, she may not live for very long... even the equipment here can't help her."

"You wish for me to keep such important information from her?" Aria questioned, her eyes flashing a bit in anger. "It is her body, she deserves to know everything. You think that not letting her know everything will help to calm her nerves? It will only lead to her eventual destruction." she took a sip of the sweet milk, cringing slightly at the 'sweet' part of it.

"You want to keep it from her? Fine... But if she asks me, then I will be obliged to inform her of the truth." she snapped at the nurse, her green pendant glowing a bit with her eyes. She ignored the pain in favour of the protection instinct that she had for the girl, developed especially now that Aria knew just how weak she was.

I will protect you. she wrote simply to the girl, calming her own mood in favour of being more emotionally stable while in the girl's presence. She turned back to watch her, putting up with the cold of her wet clothes just to stay here and protect her new friend.

All this information was a bit much to take in. This place would be good for her to figure out what all was happening with her and her abilities, maybe even make them stronger and more helpful to other people. C-9 noticed the question mark next to 'men in white' and it took her a few seconds to figure out how to explain with such a limited vocabulary.

They used needles and different things to find out what exactly I was, I think. I learned from computers and the white room. They were collecting something. I can not remember what they called it. dater deter delta deta

She tried writing the word to see if she could jog her memory, but the word just wouldn't come to her.

The nurse flinched when Aria yelled, "I understand how you feel, but I'm not completely sure of my findings, and I don't want to cause her unnecessary distress so soon in her recovery. So far, she is doing well, and I don't want to jeopardize that." Sighing, the nurse nodded, "I wish I could stop you, just try and think of how fragile she is. Just knowing that information could make her give up and fall apart faster." The nurse then left the room.

I will protect you.

C-9's hands trembled slightly, reading the last bit on the paper. Tears came to her and she struggled to see what she was writing.

He said that too. He said he would protect me, but because he was helping me, he was taken by the men. Thank you.

She handed the notebook back and pulled her knees to her chin. Her eyes landed on something at the foot of the bed. An extra blanket sat there unused. She leaned forward and grasped the blanket in her small hand, handing it toward Aria, a concerned expression on her face.

You're probably thinking of the word data, wrote Aria after she had read the message, which is individual facts, statistics, or items of information. Which means you are right that they were trying to see what you were. But now you are safe with us, and you can figure that out with our help.

She sighed at the nurses reply to her, nodding in understanding. "I apologize for getting angry. You are right that unneeded stress can help towards destruction as well. Let me know if things change."

She turned back to the girl, who was now in tears. Oh no, what did I do? she thought, looking a bit worried before she read the note. He said that too. He said he would protect me, but because he was helping me, he was taken by the men. Thank you.

She breathed in, a sort of compassion spreading throughout her. She remembered when she lost someone close to her as well... It reminds me of a time I lost a friend, too, she wrote honestly, I feel your pain. I'm glad that I can help you. She looked contemplative, before continuing her note. I think I will call you Senine, since it generally sounds like your designation. Is that okay?

She greatly took the blanket, wrapping it around her person to keep warm despite the cold of her wet clothes. She thought for a moment, then raised her hand to touch her chin, extending it out towards Senine afterwards. She had learned that this meant "Thank you" in sign language, though it was the only sign she knew.

Popping her head back into the room, she shrugged, "It's fine. It's why I'm here to explain things. For now, she's alright, so as soon as she's ready, she's okay to go. I wish I could get her to get some more sleep, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen."

Scrubbing the tears from her eyes, C-9 read the message. She pointed to the name and nodded, smiling sweetly. She never had a name, so with this, she could consider herself relatively normal.

I'm sorry about your friend. Is there a way to get him back? Are you hurt? You feel pain?

C-9 looked concerned. She didn't realize what feeling someone else's pain meant. Seeing the sign language from Aria, she smiled cutely, and signed back, 'It's okay'. She looked down for a moment, her knees still pulled in to her chest. Her head bobbed a moment as sleep pulled at her senses, but sleeping on a bed was so uncomfortable, she was just waste time trying to sleep. Even a pool with an oxygen tank she could take with her would be good.

Aria smiled as Senine pointed to the name she had given her, smiling as well. Aria read the note and felt a little bit sad at reading the questioning message, sighing softly before replying. Unfortunately, my friend is gone for good... However that was a long time ago. I don't hurt much for him anymore, but yes, I do feel pain.

She noticed that Senine looked sleepy, but still uncomfortable. Not the right sleeping conditions, I take it? she wrote, a little bit of a bemused smile on her face. She was happy to be making a new friend out of someone who was relatively as confused about human nature as she was.

Perhaps I could help you with that as well. What do you need to be comfortable? she wrote, smiling. You should probably also start filling out the form so you can be a full student here. Aria rose from her seat, reaching to take the forms in her hands and place them before Senine before sitting back down, folding her hands in her lap.

(((ooc it's a bit easier for me to type C-9, so I'm just gonna keep with that, k? love the new name ^__^ I just keep having to look back to make sure I spelt it right ooc)))

C-9 looked sad and a bit confused. If she wasn't hurt, why was she in pain? Was it the pain inside? What a confusing idea. The note back mentioned her sleeping conditions. She wasn't sure how to explain and she wasn't very good at drawing, having the coordination of a seven year old, maybe younger.

It would take more energy than she wanted to give up right now, but it was the only way for C-9 to explain what was happening. She held up her hand and concentrated. After a moment, little, microscopic things started forming together, making a picture made completely out of floating 1s and 0s, although, the numbers were to small to see with the human eye.

The image was a picture of a tank with someone floating in it. It might be a bit disturbing to some, but to C-9, it was completely natural to sleep in breathable, nutrient filled gel-water. She would have to get used to beds, but for now, any pressure on her body while sleeping made it uncomfortable, even on a fluffy bed like this one.

Papers were placed in front of her and she looked at them, unable to read the words through her blurry vision.

I will fill out the forms as soon as I can.

The written words were shakey and not very neat, but it got the message across.

((OOC: It's no problem for me if you just write C-9. Aria will still call her Senine, though. XD))

Aria watched as Senine formed a response to her question on sleeping conditions, figuring that the girl couldn't think of a way to tell her otherwise. numbers started appearing before her eyes, and soon she saw an image form from them. It looked like a person floating in a tank.

Soon the image faded from existence, and Senine looked weary from the expenditure of her energy. Aria smiled in understanding, everything that Senine said to her falling into place. Scientists had taken Senine in after the Dawn of the Evotelluric to do tests on her while they kept her in a tank.

I understand. she wrote. You are comfortable in the tank because it is all you have known, all you can remember. I'll talk to the nurse when she returns. For now, you should try to rest after spending so much energy.

After reading the note, C-9 nodded, confirming what Aria thought. Resting was a good idea, but she couldn't see how she would be able to. Leaning back, she shifted, trying to find the most comfortable position. She was so tired, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep.

The nurse came back a minute later, a chart in her hands, "I found out something new. For all intents and purposes, this girl is barely three years old." She flipped the pages of the charts back and forth, "I found traces of a type of growth hormone in her system, but not much. I'm guessing she stopped being given the stuff a while ago, maybe a year ago, even." Glancing at the uncomfortably sleeping girl, she rubbed her chin, "Now my only question is why does she wear headphones constantly? And why can't she talk?"

((OOC: Short posts are still posts. No worries. ^^))

Senine went to sleep soon after aria had suggested it. Aria heard the nurse come back in, at which she turned her head to listen. "I found out something new. For all intents and purposes, this girl is barely three years old." said the nurse, at which Aria simply raised her eyebrows in surprise. How is that possible?

She didn't have long to wonder. I found traces of a type of growth hormone in her system, but not much. I'm guessing she stopped being given the stuff a while ago, maybe a year ago, even." Aria furrowed her brow in concern. Those scientists are sick people. she thought.

If they come for her, tear them apart. replied Chaos. They deserve it for what they've done to Senine. Think of all the blood. Despite herself, Aria gave a small smile, sharp fangs slipping out from her mouth. When she calmed back down, she kept the smile, as she agreed with Chaos, for once. They need to pay.

"Now my only question is why does she wear headphones constantly? And why can't she talk?" said the nurse, at which Aria made an educated guess. "My assumption is that she 'grew up' deaf." she replied, using air quotes with her fingers. "It's sort of like how blind people wear sunglasses. Or they might have sentimental value." she shrugged. "Either way, I think it would be best to leave them there."

She realized how cold she was despite the blanket. "Do you think you can point me to where the clothes are now that she's resting? I will change and then return here to keep her company." She really didn't want to leave Senine alone, but necessities were necessities.

The smile coming from Aria was a bit unnerving for the nurse, but she dismissed it, brushing it off as amusing ideas for revenge or some sort that these students usually had.

My assumption is that she 'grew up' deaf. Or they might have sentimental value.

The nurse stared at C-9, "I don't think she's really deaf... and even if they had sentimental value, wouldn't it be more comfortable to take them off when she slept? I have a hair tie that's very important to me. In fact, it's the one I'm currently wearing. But I take it off." The nurse hmmed and made a range of strange noise, all of which seemed to be the noises of a doctor's brain in motion, "Could it be that they made her wear those so she wouldn't be able to figure things out on her own? If she's never heard sound before, it'll be very loud, and scary if it's unexpected. They probably scared her with it to make her feel like she had to always wear them, to protect herself."

Do you think you can point me to where the clothes are now that she's resting? I will change and then return here to keep her company.

"Ah, yes. Here, let you show you." She went around the corner and into an office, "The bathroom right there has a closet with some sweats and towels. I think we're about the same size, so they'll either fit perfectly or be a bit big."

Making sure that Aria was all set, she went back to C-9, who had shifted, and was now facing the other way. The nurse fixed the sheets a bit and sat down next to the bed, staring at C-9 some more. Those headphones. There were so many possibilities, and any one of them could be right. Could she have super-hearing and need those headphones to block out the sound? Or were they to a deaf person as sunglasses are to the blind? Or had she just not used her ears, and therefore, had very sensitive ones?

The nurse assumed that whomever had originally had her used sound as a scare tactic for the girl, perhaps to not learn on her own. Aria shook her head slightly, in disagreement. "If they didn't want her to learn, they would not have taught her sign language. She understood my 'Thank you' gesture." she said, mimicking the movement again.

Aria followed the nurse into the office, finding it a bit peculiar that there was a closet in the bathroom. "Thank you." she said nevertheless, and when the nurse left she went right ahead and stripped off her wet clothes. She dried herself off and put on the sweats along with a white shirt she found in the closet.

She folded up her wet clothes and brought them out with her back to Senine's room. She found the nurse looking at Senine curiously, still trying to figure out the mystery of the headphones, no doubt.

"Is there somewhere where we can dry these clothes?" she asked. In the hot environment of Hell, drying clothes was not a problem. Here on Earth, however, Aria had found that the humans used dryers sometimes. Would a hospital have dryers? she thought, wondering what other peculiar things she would find here.

Aria's comment before going into the bathroom had the nurse thinking for a while, when she came out, though, the nurse had an idea, "Maybe they wanted to be able to communicate with her, but make it so she couldn't learn too much on her own. She would only learn what they taught her." It was a strange idea, close to the truth, "That could be it... oh, what I wouldn't give to be able to sit down with those men and talk to them."

"Is there somewhere where we can dry these clothes?"

"Ah, there's a washer/dryer set in another room. We need a place to wash sheets and bandages, right?" She stood from her seat and showed Aria to the room, then opened her hands for the clothes, "Here, I'll do it for you. You go keep your friend company." The nurse took the clothes and went to start a load.

Back in C-9's room, she was sitting up again, the same tired, distressed expression on her face. Sleep had come and gone, leaving her only a little less tired, but also a bit sore. Glancing around, she didn't see anyone. She was alone again. Pulling her knees to her chest, she buried her face in her knees as tears began seeping from her eyes.

"If those men are found, you will not have the chance to talk with them." said Aria, a threatening tone in her voice. "They deserve to die. They all deserve to die."

She followed the nurse out of the room, and at her prompt, gave her the wet clothing. She turned away and walked her way down the hallway still a bit furious. Chaos was practically screaming to get out at this point, but her emerald pendant kept Chaos at bay.

She came back to find Senine softly weeping with her head in her knees. Aria swept over to the girl immediately, grasping one of her hand in hers and just holding it, brushing her thumb over it in a soothing way. Her other hand came up to stroke the girl's hair a little bit, something that Aria knew to calm herself at times.

All of this was a bit strange for Aria, but she felt it was simply instinct to do these things. This poor, innocent girl had endured something that was unforgivable. Aria only hoped that she could help Senine more.

Aria's words made the nurse think very deeply. It was true those men deserved a fate worse then death, but if she couldn't talk to them, she wouldn't be able to help C-9 at all. Finding out on her own would take too long, the answers they needed would come too late.

C-9 looked up from her knees, feeling the soothing touch of another person on her hand and hair. It was so calming, so kind and comforting. She wondered why she had never felt this before, why those men had never done this when she was frustrated. This girl seemed to care very much for her... did those men not care about her? Had anyone ever cared for her? Even B-185 was just protecting his own, but did he care about her as a person? A person? That's what she was... a person... someone... and everyone had someone who cared for them.

Just the thought that C-9 had found the person to care for her made he cry even more, albeit, silently. She shifted and moved toward Aria, wrapping her arms around Aria's waist. Now, with her head leaning against Aria's chest, she found herself in the most comfortable position since the tank, and fell asleep, clinging to her savior.

The nurse came back in to announce that she had started the load, but stopped, seeing C-9, "Would you like anything?" She whispered quietly, not able to think of anything else.

After a little bit Aria felt Senine move, the girl's arms wrapping around her waist and Senine's head resting on her shoulder, tears sopping into the hospital shirt. Soon she felt the girl relax into her arms, her breathing slowing to indicate she had fallen asleep on Aria.

Aria smiled a little bit, thinking that perhaps she had been the only person to show Senine compassion. She heard noises and turned her head slightly to see the nurse had come in again. "Would you like anything?" she whispered, causing Aria to think about it.

"Senine was able to show me what she was most comfortable with. They had her in one of those tubes... like the ones you see in science fiction. I suppose it would be quite hefty to get one for her..." Aria looked contemplative, before thinking of a plan that might work.

"If it isn't possible to afford one, then I suppose I could talk with My Lord." She knew her Lord would do almost anything for her, and this was something very important. She looked upon the sleeping form of Senine, simply holding the girl close as she slept, listening to the nurse's reply.

The nurse sat down as Aria explained what she needed, "Hm, I see... those things are quite comfortable, so I've heard..." She rubbed her chin, thinking, "Getting one wouldn't be TOO hard, I don't think... we could ask some the research and development students to work on it."

Standing, the nurse began to pace, "The only thing I'm having trouble with is the liquid they kept her in."

"If it isn't possible to afford one, then I suppose I could talk with My Lord."

"Your... lord? I'm guessing you don't mean that one." She pointed up, referring the heavens, "Well, if your lord could come up with that liquid and the plans for it- but wait! What kind of effect will that have on you? Isn't he one of those kinds of lords that take ten fold after a favor?" Her voice became slightly whispered, as if she thought something evil would come up and grab her and pull her back down.

Aria twitched slightly as the nurse started to talk about the Lord, as in the big guy upstairs. A shiver ran down her spine, the belief in such things giving her a headache.

"Please stop talking about that. You must understand it's harmful for me for people to like... God." she said scathingly, a bit offended at the nurse's reaction.

"I assure you, I will repay My Lord." she said honestly, knowing what lengths he had to go for her on more than one occasion. I will repay him in blood. she thought to herself, Chaos rumbling within her a little bit at the notion.

"Please tell me of this liquid, and I will see what I can do." Aria wanted to help Senine by any means necessary. Even if it means killing some people down the road, she thought, Especially those scientists.

The nurse smiled nervously, "Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't realize. I don't really like him... I've actually never thought about it. It more like, I kind of know he's there- ah, sorry! I'll stop talking about that..."

"I assure you, I will repay My Lord. Please tell me of this liquid, and I will see what I can do."

"R-Right." She picked up the papers again and looked through them, "As far as I can tell, after taking away the aging chemicals, it's simply a liquid that holds pretty much everything she would need to survive... it's a very complicated recipe of chemicals and proteins. The only way I can make sure to get the correct liquid is if I talk to those scientists."

Suddenly, a thought seemed to dawn on her. A sensory deprivation pool. A bathtub could easily be used as this as long as the temperature was regulated and something was used to keep C-9's face above water, unless they used an oxygen mask, "There's a large tub here, usually reserved for ice baths to lower someone's temperature. It can be used as other things, like sensory deprivation. If I fill it with water that's about the same temperature as her... that could work!"

Running from the room, one could hear water suddenly being turned on, "Could you bring her here?" The nurse called from the other room. There was a large faucet that was quickly filling the tub with luke warm water. The pool was long enough, wide enough and deep enough to complete submerge her without having her touch any part of the tub, and there was a clear cover that would make sure no noise would get in.

"This could really work... I can't believe I didn't think of it earlier. Jeezum, I'm stupid or something." She said to herself, biting her thumb nail.

"... it's a very complicated recipe of chemicals and proteins..." said the Nurse, mentioning the only way to know for sure would be to talk to the scientists. Aria simply rolled her eyes in response and listened as the nurse had an epiphany. They could use a tub to help synthesize the feeling, and with that, the nurse rushed out to another room.

"Could you bring her here?" she heard not too long afterwards, at which she simply pushed one of her arms under Senine's legs and the other at her back, lifting the girl from the bed unceremoniously to carry the sleeping girl outside. Chaos still rumbling throughout her helped her with the strength effort again as she moved her way towards where she had heard the voice and was now hearing running water.

Aria walked in to see the large tub, approving of the size. It was enough to help suspend Senine inside of it. Aria breathed in and looked at the sleeping form of the girl, wondering if the scientists looked upon Senine in the tank with perverse intent sometimes. Her anger for them only grew on the inside, causing her hate for them to rise to a new peak.

"What should we do with the robe?" she questioned tentatively, not wanting to have to remove it to make Senine comfortable. "Don't you think doing this would disorient her? Make her think she's back there, where they were?"

Aria had taken it upon herself to be this girl's protector, at any cost. She knew Senine was not in a position to really have much stress be put upon her without consequence. As such, Aria was concerned for Senine's well being.

The nurse was bent over the tub, watching the water level and keeping the temperature stable. It was always hard to tell with moving liquids, but a few degrees wouldn't matter too much.

"You can leave the robe on. I wouldn't want any male students walking in and getting curious, then seeing what they shouldn't." Standing straight, she turned off the water and turned to Aria, "It may... but for her health, I'd like to risk it. And this is probably much different from what they did, seeing as how she'll have to wear an oxygen mask."

Speaking of oxygen, the nurse opened a near by closet and pulled out a tank of oxygen with a mask that would fit securely to not let water in, "Every two hours they need to be replaced, but I'll take care of that, don't you worry."

"Please lay her in the water, but keep her head up." As that was done, she grasped the headphones and looked to Aria, "Lower her enough so that her ears are in the water as I pull them off." It was easy enough, and C-9 showed no signs of being disrupted. Carefully, the oxygen mask was placed and the straps wrapped around her head, "And... go ahead and let her go."

Standing, the nurse stretched her arms and pulled the transparent covering over, to keep any heat from escaping that way. C-9 would also be able to see out of her water-bed (haha, puns~), and thus, not freak out so much if she didn't immediately remember where she was, "She'll probably be out for a few hours. You can rest here or go back to your dorm, wherever you're most comfortable, but you should get some rest, either way."

Aria breathed a sigh of relief, and followed the Nurse's instructions. She gently lowered Senine into the bathtub, watching as the Nurse attended to her. With everything in place, Aria smiled a little bit at the sleeping form of the girl, thinking of how they had become fast friends merely because Aria had rescued her.

I found it within my heart to save her, even with Chaos burning inside. she thought. My only wish is that no more harm will come to her. But if that wish is not fulfilled and she comes to harm... she smirked a little bit. There will be Hell to pay.

Knowing now that Senine was safe and sound, Aria did feel a little bit exhausted from everything. The Nurse suggested getting some rest, either here or in her dorm. She thought about it for a moment, but looking upon the sleeping form of Senine convinced her.

"I want to stay." she affirmed aloud. "Just in case she needs me again." Aria was here to protect Senine after all. She couldn't let the girl down just after she had given her great joy.
