"What are you staring at?!"
| 5'5" |
Elika's voice is particularly cultured, but can be dulcet, purring, or velvety if she's is feeling particularly bewitching. The girl's rich eyes pierce Gold, hinting that she might be a treasure. Becoming, full lips shelter a devilish smile. Elika’s Bistre hair is extensive, wavy, and sometimes animated. Her gorgeous Latino-like Copper skin is tender and silky-smooth. While Elika comes off as flimsy and frail, she gives off a very subtle vibe of a resilient and robust core. In spite of Elika not having the oh-so-desired hourglass shape, her body does curve and bend like the Nile. To fanboys' dismay, her chest is only of adequate stature. Lithe arms get tangled with the rest of her body when she dances, but otherwise are pre-programmed to hold up a good book or magazine. She holds the majority of her weight and physical confidence on her durable legs. She has a poised and sensual walk: wholly nimble as her hips roll like she had been wearing stilettos.
Notably, Elika has prim, Chocolate leo ears as opposed to human ones. Elika also has a wispy and elegant lion’s tail that nearly reaches her ankles. The tip is more fuzzy than the rest, and sometimes has gold bracelets on as decoration.
Elika's wardrobed can range dramatically, from oversize sweaters, to skin-tight nylon pants. From slutty skirts to ballroom dresses, nothing is out of the question! (However, she would never go about wearing a ballroom dress without a good reason.) As a dancer, she is not afraid to show off her body and its movement (provided that one looks with their eyes, not their hands). As much as Elika loves jewelry and accessories, she only wears them for special events, since they can be quite a bother in the high action atmosphere of these schools.

While Elika can be seductive, it's uncommon of her--usually, she's just a pill.
Elika's view on life is very Black and White. She's a loner, preferring to keep to herself and her books. That's not to say, however, that she's shy! Elika is very open about speaking her mind, no matter whose feelings might be hurt on the way. With that said, she isn't one to go out of her way to insult or hurt somebody if she can bury her face away in something that's of more interesting.
When she's feeling particularly wild, Elika might read a Mystery or even Fantasy novel and sink herself into it. But, most days, she reads thesis papers, science magazine articles, or other technical writing. It's not exactly fun, even to Elika, but at least it isn't as much of a waste.
Perfectionist at heart, she's one whose likely to aim for straight A's, and get angry over anything below that goal (even an A- would send her eyebrow on twitch-patrol). When set with a challenge, Elika aims for a perfect score, every time. Not only must it be perfect: It can't be done sloppy. Furthermore, like most overachievers, Elika's large ego will confidently set herself up in the way of the most difficult task.
Other than reading, Elika enjoys getting into a good argument. Often times, for no other reason than to argue, she'll provoke someone else's point until they're forced into a heated debate. She also likes to anger individuals, as that often gets them to argue faster. However, she herself has a short fuse and often times her plans backfire to the point of it getting lit.
She hates children. And people who talk too much. And old people. And... Well, actually, Elika hates just about everybody! She is not a people person, and though she's willing to get into a relationship if the right guy where to come around, it's likely she'd have difficulty tolerating the other individual. Elika often rejects people who think differently--or even act differently--from herself.
But for someone with so much faith in her abilities, you'd be surprised with how little she had in herself overall. For someone with such a fact-based personality, it's interesting that, of all things, Elika had taken up Dance as a hobby. Being able to move her body erotically to her favorite dances and diverting the eyes of men instantly can boost her self esteem and help her get back on her pedestal. Elika particularly likes the Samba and the Cha-Cha because of how she gets to move her feet and hips, and because eyes are always focused on the female partner--but she equally enjoys modern club dancing too, as more freedom and creativity can come out of them, and the preferred flowing body movements are, simply, fun for Elika. Though she's not usually one to go out and have fun, dancing is always the exception.

Spoiler: click to toggle “What if he comes out human? What are we going to do, Abeni? Damnit! I can’t take this anymore! Hurry it up!” A large man paced the delivery room, while his wife laid close by, with her legs sprawled in the air.
“Shut up, Kojo. Human or not, you’re going to love this goddamned child. SHIT, that hurts.”
“We’ve been over this. If he’s born a human, then we’re drowning him. I will not become the laughing stock of the town just because your egg is infected.”
“Me?! If anything, my love, it is you with the dirt-blood. Now quit that swiftness , and be by my side. Who knows, I might die in labor, if your wish comes true.”
Kojo joined his wife’s side, smiling now at her words. Abeni was the strongest in their villiage—even stronger than all the men, and, though she had such a slender and girlish body, she could even out-bench the muscular Kojo. He took her hands in his, smiled at his beautiful wife, and kissed her forehead tenderly.
They spent several more hours there in the hospital room, fighting then loving, then fighting again, until the contractions got even more intense, and the doctor was buzzed in to deliver the little boy. He came close, several times, to asking Kojo to leave, as their fighting was not helping the situation, until finally a crown appeared, silencing him completely.
“I see a head! Keep pushing, Abeni!”
But the head sunk back into the woman, causing Kojo to start yelling at the doctor. Complications…
Life went on for Kojo. The child was almost everything he had wanted: She most definitely was not human, but… She was a female. He cherished her to bits though, because… Elika was all he had left of Abeni. The woman had, as she so tenderly joked about, died in labor. Even her might could not match that of Elika’s, Kojo assumed.
Kojo was close to little Elika, but the child was so independent of him. At times, it broke his heart to know that she would rather be locked away, reading a book, than at his side doing whatever silly activity grown-ups do. He tried dragging her into her life, to become a part of his every day, but she loved being alone far too much than to stick around with her father.
There was, though, one circumstance when Elika happily joined her father’s side: Visits to their ruler, who goes by a name that is too great to be uttered by mortals. As like most Tau, Elika idolized their leader, and happily trailed her father whenever he had business with him. She loved him, in every sense of the word, which meant that the death of her father was not all that painful for her, when she discovered what would happen next…
It surprised everyone when Kojo was killed by one of his peers. Tensions always ran high in this isolated village, where one's worth was measured solely by one's strength and abilities, and it was not uncommon for third degree murder to occur--if anything, it was far too common. Kojo's murderer would never have to pay his dept to security for their loss, because power dominated in this village. To be able to unintentionally, especially in a fair fight, escalates one's worth. No body had anticipated that Kojo would ever die, just as they never expected Abeni to meet her maker. Some believed that Elika sapped both their power, rendering them useless. Others said that she was a curse, and they'd all meet their maker if she continued to live. But nobody truly took this gossip seriously, as the village often told tall tales to pass the time. They were certainly curious as to why Kojo had lost his fight though, when he was one of the elites in the tribe, thought to only be a step below their almighty leader. This is partly why their leader had then taken in young Elika, (not to mention that he was closer to Kojo than anyone else in the village) and started raising her as his own, which filled her heart tremendously. She decided then, that she would do anything to please their leader—an oath that wasn’t rare in the tribe.
Elika grew up almost like a princess. Not necessarily the kind you hear about in Disney movies, as the village was in poverty, but she did feel bigger and better than the others. Elika was never spoiled by the leader, but, with the way she acted and how she dressed, you'd think otherwise. Elika grew so isolated from the village from atop her pedestal, as she took up dancing (a skill thought of as superfluous, thus only a vain and pompous ability). The art of fighting though, engraved so deeply in the society, was something Elika couldn't escape. But, being so commonplace, it was unheard of, even unthought of, to not learn the skills of battle. So Elika never complained when she was required to train her brute instead of her limberness.
She called him Daddy. A title much more tender than she had given her real father. Daddy seemed to love it, which was enough for Elika. He called her his little flower. And when Elika asked why it was that she would have to go to the school of Avalon, he replied “I want my flower to bloom.” Her heart melt, at his words, and she then complied.

Tau's have exquisite magic manipulation. Most Tau are only able to specialize in a particular field, and certain aspects about them are effected by which field they specialize in. Bite
| Mane
| Roar
|
|---|
Biting is one of five classic Tau skills that usually accompany their specialization. Contrary to the name, biting doesn't have to require ones mouth or even ones teeth.
| Male Tau are bulkier than the females, have better defense and much more resistant to damage. (N/A for Elika.)
| Trademark to the lion, Taus have adopted roaring as a familiar pastime. Many Tau have even linked their skills into it!
| N/A
| N/A Elika's a Female.
| N/A Elika can only roar for commercial purposes. |
Swipe
| Huntress
|
|---|
Next to teeth, a Tau's biggest weapon are their arms. Their magic can really pack a punch when designated from this area--and it's usually more accurate and easy than the former.
| Female Tau are smaller, swifter and more agile than the males. However, they're not supernaturally more so than humans.
| This is where Elika's abilities lay. She's too young and inexperienced--or maybe unable altogether--to enter other branches.
| Like all female Tau, Elika's gifted with grace. Though she's quiet, fast, and small, however, she doesn't have supernatural swiftness. |

Lion's Strength Elika can life up, over her head, 1.2 tons, without too much difficulty. (Anything heavier, though, proves as a challenge!) However, it may not seem like she's aided while lifting anything, her body's magic is what's at work. Under Elika's skin, her muscles aren't as well defined as you might otherwise think. More importantly than how much she can lift, though, is the power of her punches. Elika can break through a brick wall or even a concrete one (provided it's as thick as your typical wall) albeit not in one swing (five well-positioned blows minimum could break through a simple brick wall, but tougher material takes more work). Chipping away at stone is almost childs' play for this willowy girl. Pure titanium, and anything stronger, she could not put a dent in, unless it was, for whatever reason, it was thick as tissue paper.
Elika's bones are not any tougher than a human's. Meaning that if she were to unleash a super powerful punch, it'd likely shatter every bone in her hand. Or, at least it would, had the punch not been magically enhanced. Elika's bare hand never has to touch her target. Between her fist and the object that's getting hint, is a layer of the invisible magic that protects and cushions her hand from getting damaged from the impact. (This does NOT mean she can go around, sticking her hand in molten lava or constantly put her hand in the way of a slamming door. Piercing objects can still cut through the small magic barrier too.) The barrier shields only the knuckle portion of her fist, and only when she sends out punches.
Fatigue sets in for her just as it would anyone else. Feeling fatigued means that her magic is stalled until she takes a time out to catch her breath and build strength back up. The time it takes to "catch her breath" depends on how hard and how long she pushed herself. Going from ZERO to FULL though takes a good night's rest. A brief break from using her magic, though, is usually enough of a cool down to allow her to continue. She does not have extraordinary recovering techniques, so though she can keep up with the tempo of the group, she cannot surpass them.

Dancing Princess Elika knows how to dance! Particularly Latin dances. Her favorites are the Samba and the Cha-cha, as well as modern club dancing. She's been dancing since she can remember, but it's also a guilty pleasure of hers. She's quiet good, for someone who has been dancing for so long, but no better than anyone else who has had such experience.
Fighting (Skill Level: Proficient. An even fight would occur with Elika and someone who has less than 3 years of training.) Elika tried a couple different fighting styles, but none fit her. She's still working on creating her own style which is highly inspired by the dancing that she enjoys doing. The style, inspired mostly by boxing, is dubbed "Weaving." It involves being quick on your feet and agile, more than it focuses on strength. Elika likes it because, once she can land a good hit, it's usually enough of a surprise and knock out the other. (At least, back home it was.) Weaving is a fist-fighting based attack style where the user uses their small stature to their advantage. The fighter bobs and weaves by bending at the waist and dipping down underneath or to the side of incoming blows. There is no blocking involved in Weaving, though like in boxing, the fighter blocks their face for extra defense. Dodging an attack instead of blocking it allows the fighter to move forward while an attack is being blown, and lay one in return while the opponent is most vulnerable. The idea is that if you're never hit, you can never lose.

Spiked Brass KnucklesThis is not a weapon she often uses, but it's good to have just in case. They're a simple pair of brass knuckles, but on each ring is a spike. (The spikes are only three quarters of an inch long.) They really speak to the inner lioness inside of her. Ani.A P.L.E.S.E.D v1.0: Animal Adapted Poly Linguistic Enlightenment And Service Extension DeviceThis little device comes standard to all students with animalistic ears enrolling at either AEA or AMTI. Using a combination of Bluetooth technology and a unique brand of communication magic, this little beauty will translate any known, human language into your native language as it's spoken with only a point-five second lag. Aesthetically, it's either blue or red pending on your school colors, however unlike the human designed ones that clip on the ear this is a two piece stud, a magnet holds the pieces together pressing the skin between them for those who don't have a pierce and don't want to... Optionally those that already have a pierce can change the magnet for a post and clutch, though this isn't very welcome by the staff. Please enjoy your stay on the Twin Campus.
