As in the games or anime/manga; we will also have Technical and Hidden Machines, as well as Tutors. Bulbapedia References: Technical Machines Hidden Machines Tutors Technical/Hidden Machines: Can be taught regularly, but the moves are not learned instantly or without some form of instruction. Practice and diligence is required to learn both of these, and it can take time. Sometimes pokemon end up teaching themselves moves, just from habits, though. Just don't abuse it. The TM/HM is in the form of a DVD shape, but is strapped to the pokemon's head for about a minute. It gives the mental projection of how the move is preformed by their species, thus and example to learn by. Trainer creativity can also help. Tutors: Rather like the above, pokemon can learn by watching and then trying themselves. If it is a powerful move, though, they must undergo real training with both its trainer and another that already has the move down. |
