THE LEECH PLANT SUPPLEMENTS IT'S PHOTOSYNTHETIC BY SUCKING THE BLOOD FROM PASSING BEASTS TRUE OR FALSE THE LEECH PLANT NOT ONLY DRAWS THE BLOOD FROM A BEING BUT POISONS IT AS WELL "these creatures are not to be confused with the leech plant which supplements its photosynthetic activities with striking snakelike at passing objects. it has paired curved hollow fanglike thorns associated with a pulsating podlike bladder the leech plant can draw a considerable amount of blood in a short time. they tend to grow in thick patches there is not a great deal of danger from such plants provided one can remove oneself from their vicinity. they are not poisonous sometimes one literally uproots the plant in ones escape so tenacious is the clasp of the thorns it is different of corurse if one loses ones footing amongst them or is thrown naked bound amongst them they are normally cleared away from areas of human habitation from the side of roads sucH" PRIZE OF GOR 365-366 |

'She had been ashore to buy some loaves of Sa Tarna bread. the girl commonly carries the coin or coins in her mouth for slave tunics like most gorean garments have no pockets slaves are not permitted wallets or pouches as free persons. the baker had tied the sack about her neck with a bakers knot fastened behind the back of her neck the girl is not supposed to be able to see to undo the knot even if she works it about to before her throat she cannot see it if she should until it it is unlikely she will be able to retie it properly naturally the sack may not be opened unless the knot has been undeone the bakers knot is s\upposed to minimize the amount of pilfering of pastries and such which might otherwise be done by slave girls" HUNTERS OF GOR PAGE 69 |

IT IS SAID THAT THE BLOOD OF A BEAST MAY SPEAK TO YOU AND SHOW YOU YOUR FATE. IF YOU SEE YOURSELF BLACK AND WASTED WHAT BROUGHT ABOUT YOUR DEATH? "I shared bits of the heart of the sleen with my men and together cupping our hands we drank its blood in a ritual of sleen hunters" 'Bertram of Lydius has fled'cried Publius the kitchen Master I had throught this would be true I had looked into the blood cupped in my hands it is said that if one sees oneself black and wasted in the blood one will perish of disease if one sees oneself torn and bloody one will perish in battle if one sees oneself old and gray one will die in peace and leave childern. But the sleen did not speak to me I had looked into the blood cupped in my hands but had seen nothing only the blood of a beast it did not choose to speak to me or could not" BEASTS OF GOR PAGE 9 |

IN PRIZE OF GOR THE EARTH GIRL NOW GOREAN SLAVE,ELLEN SPECULATES ON THE CONCEPT OF "BEAUTY BESTOWED BY BONDAGE."THE WOMAN THAT IS SCOUTED FOR SLAVERY ON THE SURFACE IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN,BUT ELLEN GIVES THREE REASONS WHY SHE BECOMES MORE BEAUTIFUL AS A SLAVE,CAN YOU NAME THEM? ANSWER "but to return to the "beauty bestowed by bondage" understands that that the free woman scouted for bondage is almost always beautiful to begin with thus it is not surrprising that she will make a beautiful slave but how is it that she will become even more beautiful in bondage?a number of things are involved and only three will be mentioned and but briefly first collared and "slave clad" women are beautiful the collar enhances their beauty not simply as a lovely crnamnet attractive on any woman but even more by its meaning that its wearer is a slave that she is merchandise it thus adds deimensions of meaningfulness and stimulations to her appearance both aesthetically and psychologically too being "slave Chad"enhances a womans beauty imagine for example seeing a women in a serverd sober business suit and then seeing her revealed in a slave tunic. she is suddenly a hundred times more attractive second the slave is commonly trained a least to some extent she learns to walk as a slave move as a slave kneel as a slave speak as a slave behave as a slave and so on. she becomes obedient and deferent she is graceful and feminine all these things enhance her beauty Lastly and most important as she learns her collar and is mastered she comes to understan that she is a woman deeply and truly and in a sense far more profound than that of merely the attractions of her delicious lineaments which have called her so to the affention of men and have had their indisputable role in bringing her to the slavers platform to the chains of a market gone then are the false starts and distractions the conflicts aand confusions the dissonances consequent upon the and distractions the conflicts and confusions the dissonances consequent upon the imposition of false images of political contrivances engineered by manipulators and haters she has come home to herself she has at last fulfilled the ancient template of her needs she is now hersof at one with her nature in bondage she finds her meaning and fulfillment she has found happiness where she had never thought to look for it in a collar and happy radant of one with herself she has become more beautiful in such ways then one might speak of the "beauty bestowed by bondage if a woman would be beautiful let her seek her master and his collar" PRIZE OF GOR PAGE 554 |

A SLAVE IS RETURNED TO A CITY IN WHICH SHE WAS PREVIOUSLY A FREE WOMAN PRIOR TO HER ENSLAVEMENT. CAN THIS SLAVE EXPECT TO BE FREED AND RETURNED TO HER PREVIOUS STATUS? "amongst the boys in their little clouds or gangs, roaming about looking ro some "good ones" amongst the "ring girls" those chianed to the public rings there will occasionally be one or two older ones, who will carry switches. this is in case they find a slave who has been a free Woman taken from an enemy city particularly recently they may then switch her and she will kneel and cover her head and cry she cannot escape of course as she is chained in place soon hopefully her master will return and good naturedly shoo the boys away she must expect such things i suppose given her antecedents they still think if her as a woman of the enemy this is howevr a mistake she is not free thus she can no longer be a woman of the enemy now she is only another slave she would remain a slave incidentally even if she were to be returned to her original city indeed there she would be treated with great cruelty perhaps even slavin in becoming a slave you see she has dishonored its home Stone she would beg piteously not to be returned to that city there she could expect nothing better than a paga tavern or brothe you can imagine her misery in such a situation finding herself at the mercy of spurned suitors and such and perhaps she would be purchased by a free woman who was once her rival and enemy to be her serving slave better to wear her collar at the feet of foreign masters scions of the city whose warriors or raiders first acauiered and stripped her. Women understand such things " PRIZE OF GOR PAGES 628-629 Edited by zena, Nov 5 2010, 02:34 PM.
