The heartland of Asteria, the original home of the Elves of the land before human settlement had the country overrun as it became the new Human Homeland.

Formerly a Volcano attached to Ahora, the land had no earth beneath and as a result reliant on the strand of earth holding it to the Heartland, mining operations quickly hollowed this away and caused the wait of the volcano to sink it, creating a new island were corrupt being and Netherrealm creatures trapped in the freshly built caverns below the Abyss.

The home of Asteria's Orc & Goblin population, slowly coming out of political turmoil, Ostgil has begun reopening its borders and allowing refugees and foreigners to live in the land, leaving most of the cities divided about the Island's society.
