Sad story, but from the wounds it doesn't appear to be an American bullet. The caliber looks to small. Fetii tend to be really soft tissue and any larger caliber bullet(as which is used with the standard M-16) so any hit from them would have torn the fetus apart. I've shot a pregnant antelope with an AR-15, which uses a similar caliber bullet to the M-16, and it tore that fetus apart. |

Thats sad really. That your baby died in war before it was born. And that you never saw it but it saved your life. Yeah i doubt it was the americans but still your right it is terrible. Too bad things must die and that war must continue on no matter what someone does |

WHY must the war in Iraq continue on? "Iraq was harbouring weapons of mass destruction"? What a load of crap that was Mr Bush! "Errr, okay. Iraq was acquiring WMDs from other rogue states." Another load of crap there, and your first change in answer Mr Bush. "I know, I know! We're bringing a brutal dictator to justice!" One that was actively supported by the other Mr Bush (You may know him as "Dad", Mr Bush) when he was head of the CIA. Oops... What changed to make Bush Snr not like him any more when he was President? The US and the rest of the Coalition of the Killing should never have gone to Iraq in the first place! Sure, the situation in Iraq before the occupation sucked, but at least it had the benefit of being relatively stable suckage. Should the U.S leave Iraq now and there'll be a civil war between Kurds, Sunnis and Shi'ites that'll drag on for decades. The war in Iraq did nothing but distract efforts into locating a certain member of the Bin Laden family from being apprehended in Afghanistan and provide a rallying point to terrorists everywhere to help make life miserable for everybody in Afghanistan and Iraq. It didn't bring freedom. It didn't bring democracy. It didn't bring peace. |

This is the big problem that the next US President will face. Popular opinion wants troops out of Iraq, both cadidates know that pulling out will be worse for the Iraqi people than staying. What do they do? Ultimately, they're going to cop a lot of flak because of a problem that was not created by their own doing. Edited by Rex, Oct 28 2008, 03:40 PM.
