I was reading names of those links... "Orkut" is orgasms in finnish. Not literally, but the way how we use it in everyday life

Also, for general social networking, you could count Xanga (and Twitter, if you'd like)

You could also add Tumblr (www.tumblr.com), it's a blog/social network; and plurk (www.plurk.com), it's like Twitter only infinite times better.
