It hasn't happened yet, but my highlight would probably be going to the basketball game tonight The teams aren't all that (Charlotte Bobcats vs. Atlanta Hawks) but I'm excited about going

Crazy dude on the city bus coming home from the train station. It was great once I'd decided he wasn't going to stab me in the face. An light-skinned Aboriginal man (this comes into play later) missing half his bottom teeth and smelling vaguely of alcohol. He sat on the seat in front of me, turned around and introduced himself with a handshake a Errol. Also "the Devil, Lucifer, Satan, my number is 666." He said something here about being white, but I didn't quite get it. He then told me how white people didn't know anything and that he was some aboriginal word beginning with b - he explained it was a leader. He then told me that prime ministers? Presidents? Feh! (he actually made a dismissive hand motion here) It was b-word-leaders and then God and Jesus. But Aboriginal people know stuff we don't - they can see the end coming, so they drink (drinky motions here). Jesus and Satan are coming back. Then again something about being white. Then he asked me to stop the bus for him, and he told me to watch out and said something about God and Jesus being with me - I mumbled something like "um, thanks. you too" and he told me he was okay, because he was from above (point up) and below (point down), shook my hand again and left. Best. Bus ride. Ever. |

Freki, I am totally jealous of you now. Not only do you look good as a goth, you meet awesome people. My highlight was just going to the movies and hanging out at the diner afterwards. |
