For starters, Sayf never attempted to defend the Sun. He actually (indirectly, but that is how I interpreted it) the story's legitimacy into question as it hadn't been reported by any other source. And either way, could you blame him if he had defended it? It is entirely possible for someone who is not from the UK to be unaware of its reputation. Also, I would hardly call what you do 'pussyfooting'. It's more like waving a giant piece of fabric in an open ring while wearing a matador's outfit, if you get my drift. You know my views on religion, I think it is as stupid as you do. But the whole point of a forum is so that different people of different beliefs and values and different ways of thinking come together to discuss things. That does mean that people won't always agree. But if you wanna go, that's your choice, though I will say I don't see the need to, in effect, burn every single bridge. I reckon Sayf is right, too. On the one hand there is me, you, Freki, Bunny (the atheists) Belle, who has professed no religious inclination whatsoever, and stupidstuff who is agnostic, and I think Wes is on the non-religious side as well. Then there is blue, Sayf, mzislam who are Muslim, and ze and capri who are also Muslim but rarely, if ever, bring religion into anything. Freki is not a dick, he just disagrees with you.
