Don't worry about people from your past - there's a reason they didn't make it to your future.

Profound!

Discussion/Thoughts.

Disagree - you never know when they'll return.

A reason could be a temporary thing.

Well, of course, but there's no guarantee that once they're gone, that they're gone for good. I know this well enough as its happened quite a lot to me.

Tbh, the only time that's happened to me recently, I quickly kicked the person back out of my life. :P

I wasn't talking about about taking people back, I was thinking more along the lines of you walking away from them, and then either running into them at a get-together or having them in a class or at work with you. Something you really can't control much.

But yeah...I'm the kind who will give the person a few chances, but after a while, it's time to let go and move on.

Lucky for me part of the reason I'm so keen to gtfo Sydney and go to ANU is for a fresh start people-wise.

So, STRONGLY AGREE! :D

I agree. You need to keep moving forward. If they also move forward, and you cross paths again, that's not a bad thing.
