I'm guessing most of you have seen it once or twice. I got perusing it again today after learning of the Conservative Bible Project (srsly) and wanted to share a few of the highlights - excluding the obvious ones like the articles on homosexuality, feminism, evolution, etc.

Essay: Best New Conservative Words

Oh. My. Figurative. God. It's so amazingly inane! I especially like that they decided to take all Orwell's terms from 1984 as "conservative". Seeing as he was so well known as politically right-wing. Can't get more conservative than democratic socialism, after all.

Essay: Conservapedia's Law

I was going to pick part of the article to quote, but it's short and there's no part that is visibly more idiotic than the rest. It's just ... wow.

Mystery: Why Do Non-Conservatives Exist?
Quote:

Statistical Analysis

(Estimates)
25%: did not hear about conservative principles until after they made up their mind and, perhaps due to pervasive societal bias, refuse to reconsider
15%: genuinely lack of desire to find the truth, and instead desire attention, praise by liberal teachers, getting along by going along, and not standing up to liberal bullies
15%: refuse to forgive themselves and let go of their past mistakes and image
10%: fooled by the demonizing of conservatives and mistakenly feel that conservative benefits are available only to those who are from an intact family or privileged background
10%: refuse to rise above their personal temptations, often self-destructive, and hate conservatives who criticize their self-indulgent behavior
10%: feel that they deserve to make more money than they do, as in public school teachers and university professors, and refuse to rise above self-interest
10%: harbor a grudge against a conservative, typically a parent but sometimes an ex-spouse, and refuse to forgive or rise above the animosity
5%: like an anarchist, genuinely want to believe in and propagate destructive ideas

"Statistical Analysis (Estimates)"

Heh.

Seriously. I think all of these essays were written by the site's founder, so they're "fo' realz". Most of the site is just a bizarre exercise in "Poe's Law".

I see Conservapedia's convincing arguments has opened your eyes and mind to true conservative insights.

Personally, while Conservapedia's arguments seem logically sound and convincing, I did not hear about conservative principles until after I made up my mind and, due to pervasive societal bias, refuse to reconsider.

So there you have it. No one disagrees on an eduacted basis with conservatives!

This is one of the reasons I hate definitive political labelling. Each issue is a different issue, and therefore should be treated with different research and a different approach. I've found so many conservatives, and even leftists who seem to go with the school of 'thought' with little thought of their own.

What liberal gibberish, Sayf. If you were a rational person you'd embrace conservatism. And Christ. Can't forget the Christ.

How insulting it must be for conservatives throughout the world that the site chooses to sport the flag of the USA in its avatar.

No. It's for real - but a number of people like to edit the articles for the lulz and get b& frequently - but there's the founder and a group of people who take it seriously.

Debate: Does the Media Have a Liberal Bias?

There is not a doubt about it, the media is liberal. Yes you can say FOX tilts right, but they offer the liberal counterpoint.

Lol?
