Posts: 4,660 Group: Moderators Member #288 Joined: Oct 12, 2008 Gender Female	One of the girls at work is off sick with confirmed swine flu, and management haven't felt the need to share this with anyone, until I mentioned I hadn't been feeling well. I get that swine flu is (mostly) a non-event, but my mother gets sick so easily that I often quarantine myself when I have a simple cold, and if I was to get swine flu (or even the normal flu), the chances of her getting it and it turning into pneumonia or bronchitis are pretty high, and every time that happens she winds up in hospital unable to breathe. I'm too tired to even be properly angry about this, but if I wasn't, I'd be pissed off.

Hope it's not swine flu, especially seeing as though your mother seems to be so susceptible. I thought they'd stopped testing for Swine Flu? Maybe that's only in Vic?

My brother (and the rest of the coworkers) are now paranoid, stocking up on loads of hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray to take to work.

Fever that wouldn't go down, etc etc. And I went to the ER, he told me it was just the flu, but then he told me like the swine flu is just the normal flu now. Anyone who gets the flu is basically getting swine flu. It's not anything big anymore. But its diff with your mom so get her a shot? :\|
