This is how I would like to think Christians should show their faith in society. Sufjan is never like "JESUUUUUSSSSSS", but his faith is still evident. It makes me sad that I only discovered him this year; illinoise hasn't left my car in about 4 months; my girlfriend is getting pretty sick of it, but she can cope :).

I've certainly heard songs which make reference to, or even advocate, one religion or another. However, usually these are standalone, not by artists who do such songs regularly.
