Help cure the #1 genetic killer of children under 2 PetitionSite activists Bill and Victoria Strong could have given up when they discovered their gorgeous daughter suffered from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) - the #1 genetic killer of children under the age of 2. Instead, they rallied and created a petition to find a cure. They have been so successful that they're now collecting signatures to move landmark legislation through Congress - a bill spearheaded by their efforts - that will allocate federal resources to non-profit and research organizations focused on finding a treatment and/or cure for SMA. Researchers believe that we are only few years away from finding a treatment and/or cure.
