Man, my parents are pissing me off at the moment. I mean, I don't know what the hell they want from me. I'm freaking flying academically, I'm being asked to represent my school in athletics, I do photography and GFX, I read all the damn time, with books that are about 5 years above my age group, I'm about the most freaking independent person my age that you're gonna find for a while and still, I get lectured all the time about shit that I try my best at, but I screw up, and that isn't fucking good enough for my parents. You know what, I'm gonna fucking make mistakes, and you should be damn glad that I make a lot fewer than your average 13 year old, and you should be damn glad that I"m not anywhere near as demanding as most of my age. I don't get why I'm never allowed to shout, I seem to rarely be able to express my opinion without being talked over or lectured to, and my parents don't seem to trust me to do much at all. GAAAAAH Finially, vent has been very useful to me. That feels MUUUCH better.

Older than me, even, and I'm 17. That being said, I want to give your parents a little smack

I understand what that is like, though my mother is not as bad it still drives me nuts. Like i try my best at everything, there is nothing else that you can do. Some parents need to calm down and just relax.
