So, my lil sister has just started her final year of highschool only for me to realise I'd trade in my day to day now to go back a few years and be back there.

To all you schoolies, pay attention, I said I'd be relieved to leave school and get on with life and now I've had a turn around. I never believed anyone who said I would have this turn around, but I have and you probably will too.

I miss English. My favorite class.
I miss seeing friends everyday and how easy it was to stay in touch.
I miss when insignificant crap seemed to mean life or death.
I miss thinking the real world would be easy compared to school.
I miss being a clown without risk of being sent home and told to not come back. :P
I miss questioning what good all that stuff would do me in real life.
I miss the social politics and mind games.
I miss the short [seemed long] but consistant hours.
I miss being able to stay up late and it not taking a huge toll. [And dozing off in class]
I miss getting home and feeling like 3.30PM wasn't that late, so really, my whole day is ahead of me.

School was good.

Anyway fellow non-schoolers, share? :)

This is something.
Being in year 12 I can hardly agree with you seeing as though the workload is about to start to kill me but I can see where your coming from and in about 12-24 months I can see myself definately agreeing with you. Definately about the close-contact with friends and what-not.

Thanks Sayf Udeen. I'll probably fail Maths B but I will try my best(at least I hope I will, no promises) to pass everything :P

School seems better than the real world, but I'm missing out on a lot of the good stuff of school, too, so that's a reason why I'm looking towards college =o

It's incredibly annoying when school leavers talk about how great school is.
My reply is.
You don't go to the school _I_ go to.
So stfu.
<_>

That wasn't at anyone in this thread.
Just...

I just drove my little sister to school. Ahhh the whole area is changed, and the rtaffic, I never knew there was a parent traffic jam to go home until today.

I wanna have a kid, so I can be a school dad. :P

Funny.
When I went back to my primary school, I was shocked by how the reception looked exactly the same...
O.o

My primary school seriously looked like a huge ice cream parlour from the outside. Seriously, who paints light blue and cream stripes on a school?

They also, for some reason put these weird and random blue pipes up, and kids used to use them to climb onto the roof.

I'll try and find a pic, if not I'll take one someday.
